"Only the Naga let's me assign shift to one of the middle row buttons, then easily roll my thumb left and right to get shift4 or shift6 from just my thumb."
"With the Naga I map the center button on the bottom row to shift. ... And with that I can roll my thumb up, left, or right and get another three keybinds. ... And just having shift there also lets me press that for shift, instead of my left pinky. One less thing for my left hand to do. Makes Shift+4 while moving and jumping easier. ... This gives me ready, instant access to the entire hotbar. And with shift, an entire second hotbar (excepting shift+7 and shift+9)."
"Macros will let that be enough to play even a druid in all forms with every spell being useable. ... And this is without stopping movement to reach and without any annoying left pinky stretch ever being required."

"It feels so much better in my hand."
"I use them entirely because they feel extremely good in my hand ... whereas the competitors like the corsair and logitech just don't feel right."
"no other MMO mouse has better thumb button size/placement. ... No other mouse fits my thumb that well."

"could play one handed. ... I'd be playing fetch with my dog while raid healing, it definitely confused the fuck out of a lot of people."
"The left handed Naga was a game changer for me too. ... Now I can play and actually compete with mouse and keyboard players in fps games."
"Same play style, brother! ... Pretty similar mapping as I use, but I traded abilities for more movement (in FPS games). I crouch with 7, reload with 6 and jump with 8. ... I played competitive Counter-Strike one-handed, so we can do everything!"

"After 7-ish, double clicking Nagas"
"they broke so damn fast"
"The only problem is the scroll wheel always breaks after about 6 months and becomes useless. My 5th Naga just broke with exactly the same problem, and I'm very reluctant to buy another. ... Mine does the same but it's really bad, you can't control where you scroll at all. ... When things get intense in PvP I definitely grip and press the buttons harder than I need to, but I honestly can't help it. The only thing that can't take the punishment seems to be the scroll wheel. Either the click stops registering properly or the scrolling breaks. ... It doesn't always break in exactly the same way, sometimes the click stops registering properly and it either doesn't work or will start double clicking, sometimes the scrolling stops working and starts rubber banding back and forth erratically no matter which way I spin. ... I've been living with the issue for well over a year. ... I definitely think part of it is a me problem, but it happens to enough people that I think the components are just very cheap too and can't take the punishment. From the research I've done today, Razer aren't well known for their longevity that's for sure."

"My middle mouse button can rarely be held as it usually spams the button and scrolling sometimes gives additional inputs or does that kind of "rubberband" inputs where it'll do the opposite input after scrolling. ... somewhere in the 6-12 month time frame. ... No rough handling at all. ... Im also using the Pro and same issues."
"sometimes the buttonpresses won't register."

"Or the Razer Naga that is 122g ... I've used all of them and the weight savings on the Aerox helped me no longer get any kind of wrist discomfort after days of longer gaming sessions."
"though heavy"
The reverse version of the Razer Naga MMO course might help you keep your right hand on the keyboard more [https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-left-handed-edition](https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-left-handed-edition) and you can remap buttons on that so you could use your thumb for more of the action also kinda similar to the Azerons keypad, I use a razer tartarus pro because it just makes so much more sense to have the thumb doing WASD instead of using two or three fingers for that. Azeron's devices might be a better fit for you because of how the individual finger switches can be set to different heights, but the damn things look so delicate idk I just see the cats knocking it off of something and it breaking into a million pieces
I got the left-handed edition. I literally bought 6 of them when they re-released in case they stop making it again
Hey I use that exact mouse for the same reason albeit the left handed edition. Although I have a different layout. That mouse is honestly a godsend. It’s how I play anything nowadays. Although I do find the 360 and GameCube controllers to also be great with one hand
It’s like the only left handed mmo mouse too. But god is it a lifesaver
Razer naga left handed edition. It’s literally the only way I can play games
A one handed keyboard.. like a [Tartarus?](https://www.razer.com/gaming-keypads/razer-tartarus-pro?srsltid=AfmBOoqNdVujMwEPZOxooz1BYLCaEq3CDoufW3WzuopY7rYia43pkbAC) IMO you would get more value out of an MMO mouse rather than a one handed keyboard like that one. Unless you've got some disability, I think your normal laptop keyboard will work just fine. I personally have been using a razer naga for 15 years now, it's a total game changer for MMOs.
Love my Razer Naga Last night it started double clicking though, I basically buy a new one every year. I can't stand the Scimitar so please don't recommend it.
Razer Naga Left Handed Edition.
Left handed razer naga with 12 buttons or a regular left handed mouse and just click your abilities. Holding both mouse buttons will make you walk forward then just rotate left and right while holding both buttons to steer.
I’m left-handed. You don’t choose that at birth, and roughly 10–12% of the world’s population is, too – around one in ten people. We’re not some weird anomaly, and we’re definitely not a tiny niche. We’re a pretty big minority, including in gaming. Gaming has been my main hobby since I was a kid, and for years I never really felt like my “wrong” hand was a serious issue. Sure, most mice are designed for right-handed users, but the big brands – Razer included – used to have at least decent ambidextrous options. That was the unwritten deal: maybe I don’t get a full lineup built just for lefties, but at least I have proper, usable choices that don’t put me behind everyone else. I’ve basically always used the same kind of mouse: ambidextrous shape, two side buttons on the left, two on the right, plus one or two buttons under the scroll wheel for DPI (depending on the model). All fully rebindable. That setup was perfect for my macros across different games. Over the years I’ve used SteelSeries, Mionix, and for the last ten years I’ve been with Razer: first the Diamondback, and for the last five or six years, the Lancehead Tournament Edition. That Lancehead has been my main mouse for about half a decade. Not flawless, but it did exactly what I needed: truly ambidextrous shape, side buttons on both sides, and it fit nicely into the whole Razer ecosystem. Now, after all this time, the middle click on the scroll wheel is starting to go. That’s normal – hardware wears out. As a loyal customer, the obvious move is to look at Razer’s current lineup and find the “natural successor” to my mouse: same brand, same ecosystem, newer tech. That’s what anyone would do. And that’s where everything starts to fall apart. When I went to look for a new Razer mouse, I was honestly shocked at how few real ambidextrous options are left. Some models still *look* ambidextrous from the outside… but the side buttons on the right – exactly where my thumb is – are just gone. On paper the shell is symmetrical, but in actual use, the mouse is no longer truly ambidextrous. Good examples are the Viper and the Cobra. Visually, they pass as ambidextrous mice. But for a left-handed player, they’re basically cut-down versions: the right-side buttons are completely missing. I don’t get the same level of control or functionality. It feels like the message is: “you can hold it with your left hand if you want, but don’t expect the same features as right-handed users.” On top of that, the left-handed/ambidextrous side of the lineup feels clearly second-tier compared to the right-handed one. If you want the latest and greatest from Razer – top sensors, super low latency, wireless, premium everything – it’s all built around right-handed mice. If you want something ambidextrous, you’re suddenly forced into compromises. One of the biggest ones: no proper, up-to-date wireless option anymore, while the right-handed range is full of high-end wireless models. And then there’s the Naga. I play World of Warcraft, and I’ve seriously considered picking up a Naga more than once. It’s a very iconic mouse, heavily associated with MMOs and players like me. Right-handed users are now on the Naga V2 Pro: revisions, better sensors, wireless, all the bells and whistles. Meanwhile, the left-handed Naga is still the old wired version, with no modern refresh, no updated sensor, nothing to bring it in line with the rest of the family. It’s stuck in the past. What makes it worse is the YouTube ad for the left-handed Naga. To me, it’s just… bad. The way it’s framed makes left-handed people look like some kind of “special case,” almost on the same level as people with disabilities. And with full respect to people who *do* live with disabilities: that comparison feels off and pretty disrespectful. We’re more than 10% of the population. We shouldn’t be treated like a rare charity project that deserves a “special edition” – we’re just part of the regular gaming audience. I’m not asking Razer to build an entire mirror lineup with 1:1 left-handed versions of every single mouse. I’m not demanding fifteen different lefty-only models. What I don’t understand is how a company this big, with this much reach and this much marketing around “for gamers. by gamers.” can’t even maintain *one* truly modern, wireless, fully-featured ambidextrous mouse with side buttons on both sides. Because yes, there *are* other big brands out there – I’m not going to name them here because I’m not trying to run an ad for anyone – that still provide a decent left-handed offering: genuinely ambidextrous designs with full side buttons, mirrored left/right versions of the same model, or at least a proper modern wireless option that doesn’t feel like a downgrade. And that honestly makes Razer’s situation look worse, because it proves this isn’t some impossible technical or economic problem. It’s just a choice. So this post is aimed at both the community and, especially, at Razer: * Is it really that hard for a company your size to keep at least one modern, wireless, truly ambidextrous mouse with working side buttons on both sides? * Is the “Razer ecosystem” only meant to be complete if you’re right-handed? * Is a proper, updated left-handed Naga really so unprofitable that it gets left behind while the right-handed version is already on V2 Pro? I don’t *want* to be done with Razer. I’ve been buying your stuff for a decade. But right now you’re basically pushing me to go and spend my money somewhere else simply because, as a left-handed gamer, I no longer fit into your idea of what a “gamer” looks like. And to me, that’s a huge failure in design, respect, and long-term thinking. We’re not a statistical glitch. We’re players, customers, and fans who’ve put time and money into your brand. The least we’re asking for is not to be treated like an afterthought because of the hand we use. *On top of being left-handed, I’m also Spanish and don’t really speak English. I used ChatGPT to help translate my original message, so if anything sounds weird or off, I’m sorry about that.* Thanks for taking the time to read my complaint.
I just looked it up and Razor sells a left handed Naga for the same price as a right handed Naga. So have you just never looked for one? I used a Naga for about 6 years and about 900 hours before it got a weird click issue and I fixed it with a small dot of super glue and piece of paper, then used it for another 3 years with another 300 hours. So quality would also be a bullshit reason. So what’s up? Why are you lying and speaking on stuff you don’t know about?
At least the previous version of the viper was truly ambidextrous... I felt really disappointed when I saw that the newest version had thumb buttons only on the left side. The new Cobra family is the same, only for right handed. Deathadder had a left handed version (wired) years ago, now it's only right handed. The only true left handed option is the Naga wired, which is an objectively inferior version compared to the right handed ones.
I'm also left-handed. Spent the majority of my life using a mouse in my right hand and WASD for first-person gaming. I was garbage at anything PVP. I still am, but I'm also in my 50's, so now I blame age. However, I now use a Razer Naga LHE. I've had to warranty it once already due to failing scroll wheel/middle click, but I've been using this for several years now. Using my left hand for aim and hand-eye coordination tasking in gaming has significantly improved my overall skill. The improvement wasn't immediate, but as a lefty using righty mice, I'd hit a wall with skill progression. Going to a lefty mouse helped me break through that wall. And you're right. I did a lot of searching for lefty options. Specifically, I wanted a mouse with more than 2-3 thumb buttons. I checked for ambidextrous and lefty-specific; finding something affordable and capable was like trying to find a date at a family reunion - there was nothing to be found. I was coming from a Steelseries Rival 500 with dead buttons. I gave a different righty mouse a try - a cheap but capable MMO mouse. And I loved it. But I wanted to try a lefty mouse. So I spent a kidney on a LHE. I don't regret it, but I do worry about future availability. Don't even get me started on lefty keyboards, or keybind mapping support.
Razer makes the best 12 thumb button left handed mice though, can't give them up. $100 for a mouse (more on ebay for the superior older MMO model I love to death). I don't get attached to much in the PC or console world, but that mouse was everything. Used more for productivity and in my 3D programs. Just years and years of muscle memory built up for those shortcuts I had working across my various programs. So I'm kind of stuck on that particular brand. Just handicapped when I have to use a normal mouse left handed, I absolutely need this product it's like an accessibility issue at this point. Nice memorial I can totally see the point of this.
