I will never understand the blind glazing of the Scimitar. I've had 3, all had the left-click become unusable within a year (same issue with Naga mice, at least back in the Naga Molten days). Also, the side buttons, even on highest placement are way too low and to use 1/4 comfortably, you need to lift the mouse.

I used the Naga Molten, then went to the overhaul they did for it in like 2013 ish. I now use a naga v2 pro and have the deathadder style side on it. Best freakin mouse ive ever owned.

I still have my original molten edition, not the trinity edition,I think around cata. Yes, that long. Still works perfectly. I have a backup one just in case, because I cannot play wow without it; those are my keybinds, and over a decade's worth of pure muscle memory behind it. Caveat: I have to say, my equipment tends to last ridiculously long. I am very careful with my stuff, and probably lucky as hell. Significant examples: * All my old consoles work perfectly, been gaming since the early 90's. * my first gamecube controller is still flawless, and I spent a lot of time on that console throughout my early teens. A metric shit ton of time. Seeing how other's controllers have aged, mine is a fine wine. * My former gamepc lasted for 15 bloody years, could still play wow on max settings, but was finally dying only recently. Hoping by brand new rig is going to last as long.

Razer Naga is the best. I've used like 10 different MMO mice and the Razer Naga is just the best one. Brands MMO mouse I have used had terrible software problems. Although the Naga isn't totally perfect either. But its the best imo. Edit: Logitech G600 was trash. Kept having weird mouse issues where the mouse would bounce around. Happened with 2 different ones years apart. Honestly the worst MMO mouse I used. Also the ergonomics on it were the worst as well. Razer Naga Molten was good but the mouse button wore out within 6 months and I needed to open it up and hot glue the clicker to keep it working. Roccat Nyth was good and probably the longest lasting mouse I had. It started falling apart the mouse of any mouse I owned and was by far the most fragile feeling. Contradictory but thats how it was. Corsairs MMO mouse sucked ass. Kept having weird software problems. Razer Naga X wired so far is the best MMO mouse I've used. Had it 2 years now about and the biggest problem I have had was this weird problem where scrolling up/down would bounce around weirdly. But blowing air into it would fix it. It hasn't had that problem for a really long time though now. I've used more but I cant remember them off the top of my head. I used to have a literal pile of them in a box somewhere but I threw it away a few months ago. TL;DR though the MMO mouse scene is a bunch of garbage but the Razer Naga X is the least Garbage one I have used.

The best I ever had was the old Razer Naga molten edition or whatever - lasted several years until it started doubleclicking. I've since had two G600s, which are no longer available. These started doubleclicking. I've had two Razer Naga X's. The scroll wheels on these wound up skipping (scroll up, it goes down, scroll down, it goes up, back and forth) in just under two years each. I'm currently using a Razer Naga v2 Pro and I hate Synapse; it's buggy and unintuitive. I saved profiles to it but it took an act of black magic for them to actually work without Synapse being open; I had to save them, close Synapse entirely, then power off the mouse entirely for like 30 seconds before turning it back on in wired mode and it finally worked. Suffice it to say, I don't recommend it. I guess the positives are that it's wireless (though if you want to charge it wirelessly you'll have to buy their $70 charging dock) and the replaceable plates which... aren't that great? The six button configuration is two lines of buttons rather than the old seven button plate's circular config, so I imagine most people would default the max button plate. I would love a simple wired MMO mouse with optical switches and a good mouse wheel encoder. And if I'm really wishing for the perfect mouse, about nine side buttons which are slightly larger than the default 12 configuration would be great. Really, I just want one that will last another 7-8~ years. As it stands, I don't really have a suggestion.

I did a post a few months back, I've tried every single MMO mouse, wired and wireless, I'm currently using the Razer Naga V2 Pro, before that the V1 Pro, just make sure you register for the warranty on the website and they've been really good at replacing them when things like scroll wheels start to jitter. I've had the SS Aerox, G502/G600, Scimitar, Redragon, a lot of the MMO mice come down to feel of the side buttons, of which the Naga is the best for my hand shape. Not too big but with different enough levels you can feel every unique button, the Corsair had every even column ridged, but it didn't feel great, Aerox was probably the worst for this, the g600 was somewhat okay but I found the slanted buttons a bit too slanted. Have always regretted anything other than a Naga, had an original Naga, then the WoW cataclysm edition Naga, then Naga Pros since. Whenever I get one RMAd I've tried a new mouse before opening the replacement Razer, and I've always felt the Razer was an improvement.
