As much as I dislike Razer, the Naga V2 Hyperspeed has been an acceptable G600 replacement. Doesn't have a ring finger button, but the two additional buttons next to the index finger more than make up for it. Also much better switches on the thumb cluster, geared/gearless scroll switch, and I found myself liking wireless more than wired at this point. Just have a spare battery nearby for a quick swap when needed, and it takes NiMH rechargeables.
I don't remember how long it took me to get used to using a 12 button side panel on mice, as I think I started with the G600 over a decade ago. It was definitely more intuitive to learn than a keyboard based layout, as I could arrange all my class and utility skills on the mouse in a straight sequence that made more mental sense rather than them being scattered over the keyboard. But one thing is for sure - once I got used to it, I couldn't really play well without such a mouse feature anymore. For all my dislike of razer, I do like their naga v2 hyperspeed, and that's what I'm using now. Though be aware that (like most mice) they have a problem with switches eventually failing, especially middle click, and replacement costs are more than compared to a generic mouse, unless you know how to solder.
Naga v2 hyperspeed or pro imo just get the hyperspeed
I have the original wireless Basilisk and I have used it just about every day for my job and for gaming for the last three years. I have taken it with me to multiple different states and job sites loose in my backpack, dropped it more times than I can count, accidentally spilled water on it, and it still works like new. It has outlasted my Naga V2 Hyperspeed, which has developed scrolling issues after a year of use, so I definitely stand by the Basilisk for something affordable and reliable.
Action camera is generally not worth it for any build with aoes you have to ground target. MMO mice are absolutely worth it, I use a razer Naga v2 hyperspeed and before that a Logitech g600, and I have f1-5 bound as Q, E, R, F and scroll wheel click. The skill check to see if you need a mmo mouse or not is if you are unable to do your full skill rotation while dodging aoe hell in fractals. I don't know what a mmo keyboard is, can you elaborate?
razer naga v2 hyperspeed it uses a battery you can replace which was the selling point for me. it lasts for ages on battery. have had mine over a year no issues.
yeah it uses an AA battery, you can just use a rechargeable. just keep a spare fully charged up one around, you won't be swapping very often though if thats the concern. they say the battery is 250hrs on 2.4ghz mode or 400hrs if you set it to bluetooth. either way, its ages. it has a red LED that flashes when its at like 5 or 10% (cant recall which).
I was using the Redragon m908 for YEARS before I switched. I loved it, got one for me, my brother, and got my mom a wireless one. Now my nephew uses my old m908 and I use a Naga V2 Hyperspeed for gaming and a MX Master 3s for work. 2 of my favorite mice for sure. Solid list, I just wished a lot of these premium brands had some better QA. I’ve heard and seen firsthand a lot of issues of small stuff breaking on mice that costs $80 or more.
I agree, I have the naga v2 hyper speed, and it's one of the best mice I've ever used. L/R scrolling I didn't think would be very useful ever, but I use it pretty much all the time. The only other mouse I think has better L/R scrolling is the mx master mice. But I genuinely don't like Logitech due to how ass their reputation is both on software and hardware If I could have the number of buttons an MMO mouse has and the scroll wheel the mx master 3s has and the ergonomics of the redragon MMO mouse, that would be perfection.
I've been using Razer mice since I got my first gaming laptop in 2016. Had zero issues with my original Naga, then I upgraded to the newer version with the swappable side plates a few years back, which I just had to replace this year because occasionally the side buttons wouldn't register. I'm using the Naga V2 Hyperspeed right now and apart from having to relearn my muscle memory for the side buttons, it's been great. Maybe I've been lucky for 9 ish years lol

I will recommend the Razer Naga v2 Hyperspeed. I don't know why people fussing much about Razer products but mine doing well more than a year. The only problem with me is Razer soft Synape 4 macro(and every other gaming brand soft) can't compare to iCUE. But it does work barely enough for me. That's the trade off of the free scroll cause no Corsair mouse have it. Damn, I wish for a Corsair mouse with plastic surface and free scroll. That would be my sweet stop.
That’s exactly what I ended up getting. I’m thoroughly enjoying it so far, though I’m still getting used to all the buttons
Yes! Even if they're shortcuts/keys that are on your keyboard, having them on your mouse can save you a lot of back-and-forth movement. I'm on my second V2 HS now, and it's still integral to my workspace when I use a mouse.
