I've had good luck with my Viper 8k as well. But the rubber pads on the sides are starting to wear pretty badly for me. Not sure why they went with a soft/stickier rubber there.

If you want something that is solid as a rock, inexpensive, and will last you for 3+ years, then I'd recommend the Razer Viper 8k. Incredible mouse. Plus, it doesn't seem like you mind using a wired mouse, which is great. I'd also highly recommend the Endgame Gear Op1 8k, but I can't promise that'll last 3+ years.

My copy hasn't had any scroll wheel issues at all. But I don't blame you for being worried because my Razer Cobra started to have scroll wheel issues literally the first year of owning it. But the Razer Viper 8k is a higher quality product than the Razer Cobra.

I used a Razer MMO mouse for about 15 years before it crapped out on me. About that time I stopped playing MMOs. Went with a Razer Viper 8k and I love it.

I've looked for big mouse all over the internet, even a few millimeters bigger, reviews with device measuring, filtering shopping sites, articles, there's none. There's only this one that's in the top comment. It's quite frustrating to have a tiny mouse to use. I think the closest one can get is with the Logitech MX Master 3S. But it's heavy, so not recommended for gaming. I've thought about getting it in the future, it's a bit expensive and not light so didn't. I don't know if it'd be good at all, but it's technically the biggest of the mainstream mice out there. My hands are not as big as yours, a tad smaller. I have Razer Viper 8K, might be the same size as the death adder v3. It feels slightly small, but is comfortable for me. the last two fingers don't curl into the hand like yours do, am able to grip the side of the mouse body. I have a bluetooth mouse that fits exactly like yours does, with two fingers curled up, I don't like it. I use the bigger Razer mouse even if the scroll wheel doesn't work properly. Bigger mouse is just better. I think 3D printed ones might be best for you.

Please let me know if you find one. I've been looking for a wired mouse with a similar shape and size, but I encountered so many quality issues that I gave up. The Vaxee XE had an issue with the scroll wheel button, and the wired version is no longer in production. The Viper 8khz had an extremely wobbly left button, so I don't want to try any Razer products. The Cherry Xtrfy M50 had a wobbly scroll wheel. I plan to test the following in the near future: The Endgame Gear XM2 8khz, the XM1r (maybe the XM1r has better quality according to a few video I saw), and the Maya X (though I don't need the wireless function). Otherwise, I will order an old Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse. They are supposed to be extremely well-built, though the cable quality is not the best.

razer viper 8k is similar in shape and you could find a deal i wouldnt call an old g wolves hati the best wired mouse of 2025 but i would still see it as an upgrade from model o, especially if you got a 4/8khz polling model but as everyone says EGG are just about the only ones still flying the wired flag this year, apart from logi/razer. and zaukoneig.

The V3’s shape and the V2 being out of stock at the time helped push me into buying a Viper 8k, though I guess my Viper’s getting a little old now

Alright, so, I have a question. Maybe I missed something, idk, but I'm wondering why literally ALL the new good mice are wireless: The deathadder V4 pro just come out, and there's no wired version. The superlight and superlight 2 have no wired version, pulsar mice are almost all wireless, ROG gaming mice are wireless, corsair's only good mouse is wireless, etc... I don't understand why ALL brands have to make wireless mice nowadays, and why people prefer wireless mice so much. Nobody does 360s with their mouse, nobody games 3 meters away from the pc. However, a lot of people think that they're bad at games because their mouse is wired. In addition, new hyperflex wires are unnoticeable (such as the one used on the Pulsefire Haste II) and I'm sure that, if you take someone who hates wired mice, he won't even make the difference between the Deathadder v3 and the v3 pro if he's blindfolded. Wired mice are lighter, cheaper, and more reliable, whereas wireless mice have shorter lifetime due to the [battery](https://www.electrochem.org/why-your-battery-doesnt-last-forever), are more expensive and require more advanced technology to achieve 8Khz. Plus, you have to charge them every week or buy a $100 charging mousepad to keep it charged 24/7. That's otherworldly dumb. And please don't fall for the latency dogma. That's super dumb. Humans' reaction time is around 200ms, so a 0.5ms or 1ms mouse latency will NOT make you worse at gaming, trust me. If you lose fights, that's your fault, not the mouse latency's fault. Like, the only good wired mice I can think of are the [Deathadder V3](https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/yyoauq/deathadder_v3_scroll_wheel_issue_mouse_jumping/), the [Viper 8Khz](https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/razer-viper-8k-mouse-wheel-problem-50467), the [Pulsefire Haste II](https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/14svxyx/hyper_x_pulsefire_haste_2wired_scroll_wheel_issues/) and the [xm1r](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/pr4ui5/xm1r_scroll_wheel_bug/). EDIT: As some people pointed out to me, the [op1 8k](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1cg0c66/op1we_scroll_wheel_issue/) is also super decent. I'm not saying that wired mice are better, I'm just saying that I prefer them and I think that they're just as good as wireless mice. So uhm, if you know why good brands stopped making wired mice, or even give me your opinion about wireless mice, feel free to lmk !

Razer Viper 8K If it's not a problem that it's wired, this is the best value for money. And a good mouse pad is very important, which doesn't necessarily mean it's expensive.
