Würde die Hyperspeed nehmen. Kostet weniger als halb so viel wie die Pro. Damit sich die Pro rechnet müsste die doppelt so gut sein was Blödsinn ist. Das gesparte Geld dann besser in andere Upgrades stecken.

I'm coming from a G305 and am happy with my Viper v3 Hyperspeed. Battery-Life and/or low amounts of charge cycles per year are important to me. As all mice with integrated batteries seem to aim for very low weight, most of them won't last over a week for me, so I'm going with the swappable AA or AAA battery mice. I haven't really counted the days, but my Viper v3 Hyperspeed is running well over a month on a Sanyo Eneloop AA rechargeable battery and my G305 runs even longer than that (both at 500Hz). What I like on the Viper v3 Hyperspeed over the G305 is the coating and lighter weight (although I'm afraid for the day when the soft touch coating will start to get gunky/sticky, but until then, it feels so much smoother in my hand).

You can turn the RGB off. The v3 hyperspeed has 1 dpi button, is much heavier than the cobra (needs batteries) and has its sensor to the front instead of center. I honestly wouldnt recommend a mouse less just because of the uncentered sensor

I got mine 50% off, which I think should be closer to the real pricing for this mouse. I bought it solely because it has Bluetooth, so I can switch between work and home computers easily. I think the mouse is pretty decent if you get it on sale. My only complaint is that you can't buy the damn power play charging mat here in Canada. This forces me to use the AA or AAA battery with adapter. I find the mouse to be very imbalanced with the battery inside. It's very bottom heavy due to where they place the battery compartment. In comparison, I have the Viper v3 hyperspeed which feels much more balanced. Too bad it doesn't have Bluetooth

As someone who games in both Desktop and Laptop I consider both very distinct and different priorities. While in a desktop battery life, size, and overall build quality are not the top priorities, gaming on the go is a very different story, you want good battery, small footprint and tank-like build quality knowing that you can just throw it in a backpack without giving a second thought. Because of that I would recommend... Logitech G305, Razer Viper 3 Hyperspeed, Razer Viper v2 (its usually on sale), Razer Orochi, Zaopin Z1, Corsair M75, Razer Pro Click Mini, Logitech G705. Any of these has very good build quality to a point you won't need to be extra cautious, all are below 70 usd, some around 30-40 usd, with good enough sensor and good battery life.

If you want *by far* the best battery life, Viper V3 Hyperspeed, Orochi V2, G305 - so, ones that use AA batteries - have at least double that of ones with rechargeable batteries. >200 hours. Viper V3 Pro and Superlight 2 are both good choices, both claim 95 hours battery life using 1K polling.

The two mice are honestly super similar. In daily use you will not be able to tell a difference and so it just comes down to if you want certain features like rotation tool or dynamic sensitivity and if you like the shape. Technically on paper the DAV3 Pro has the better sensor (PAW3950) a bit worse battery life and is a marginally bigger. Based on the implementation through the DAV3 Hyperspeed appears to have lower latency and a better tuned older sensor (PAW3395/3399) but its such a minor difference you wont be able to tell. Personally I went with the HyperSpeed since it was cheaper and I actually used rotation tool and dynamic sensitivity so I could spend a bit extra on the Hyperpolling Dongle.

r/MouseReview • Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed ->

MCIVS • 7 months ago

The Viper V3 Hyper and DAV3 Hyper aren't really the same family of mice anymore. The DAV3 Hyper honestly is a DAV3 Pro Mini as they have forgone the replaceable AA that was the trademark of the hyperspeed line and the wireless only connectivity. I personally preferred the ergonomics of the DAV3 H more. The weight was better controlled and it glides nicely. I actually owned the Viper 3 Hyper for a short time a year ago and wasn't very pleased in my 1-2 weeks with it. The weight was all in the rear and you could honestly feel it. The hyper speed dongle honestly isn't worth if for most folks. Drains your battery faster for a slight bit of smoothness at the very limits of play. Since I do mostly productivity I just leave it on 1000hz polling.

As an owner of both, I'd go with the **Viper V3 Pro**. The Hyperspeed was a great choice when it was the only model of the V3 shape, but after the Pro was released, there's no reason to go back. **Sensor** The forward sensor of the Hyperspeed was meant to be a feature beneficial to wrist aimers, but as a wrist aimer myself, I'm not a fan. I switch between mice a lot, and it makes adjusting to a different sensor feel awkward. I don't see this being an issue if you don't swap between mice often, just food for thought. **Switches** Hyperspeed has mechanical switches, Pro has optical. Both implementations are great, this one's purely subjective. I prefer the optical. **Coating** This is where the Pro shines, honestly. The Pro has more of a "smooth" coating, that becomes incredibly grippy once your hand settles. I can lift this mouse with minimal effort compared to any other mouse I own. The Hyperspeed still has an enjoyable coating, just a tad bit coarse, and not as grippy. **Budget** Obviously the V3 Pro price is a bit excessive, but if your budget allows, I'd easily recommend it over the other options. If you're looking to save on price, [the ATK X1 has practically the same size and specs, just not name branded Razer.](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=ATK-X1-Pro-Max-vs.-Razer-Viper-V3-Pro) V3 Pro > ATK X1 > Hyperspeed Hope this helps!

There’s no such thing as the “best mouse” because it’s such a subjective topic. What might be considered “end game” for me could be something you absolutely hate. All I can say is that my daily driver right now is the Razer Viper V3 HyperSpeed, and I really enjoy using it. It runs on a AA battery, so I don’t have to worry about charging it. When the battery runs out, swapping it takes just a few seconds. The build quality is great, the sensor tracks perfectly, and the buttons feel solid, so it’s definitely worth checking out. That said, most well-known brands like Razer, Logitech, SteelSeries, etc. offer excellent mice in a wide range of prices. I’d recommend picking one that looks comfortable to you. Think about your grip style—fingertip, claw, palm, or anything in between—since performance across these brands is usually very reliable.

non pro viper wireless, razer deathadder, i'd argue g305 lightspeed, xtrfy m42, wired zowie, superlight 1, glorious wired, some lgg mice, some vaxee mice, endgame gear op1k. All these are like 25-80€ if my quick currency version is right. Some of these are wireless too. Especially if you snipe a sale you can get a really good deal. in "top tier mice" I mean the ones that are basically the same shape as the "standards", superlight 2, viper v3 pro, deathadder v3 pro, etc. Obviously the tech is a bit worse, but we were hitting insane shots on mice 15+ years ago, even the worse mice are 100% good enough. 4k/8k polling doesnt change that much, and thats the major sell of the more expensive mice. I've managed to pick up qck+ for like 10€ on average the last few years, always on sale somewhere. Otherwise a sale on a lgg saturn (standard), zowie gsr (any version you prefer). Qck might not be the longest lasting, but it's usually on a good sale so you never really have to fork out more than AT MOST 40€ a year on it if you're really picky with pad and swap it 4x a year, but most ppl usually keep it for 6-24 months atleast.

That's the reason I bought a G502 X even though I got a Viper v3. While you don't need extra buttons on tactical fps like CS, it's literally the exception since most other genres of game do benefit from extra mouses buttons. Even arena shooters do. I'm not asking for Naga clones with 12 side buttons, but I wish we had more high-end options of mouses with 3-4 side buttons instead of 2. It's honestly the perfect middle ground, and contrary to what people think, 2 more side buttons wouldn't make the mouse much heavier.

r/MouseReview • I believe this is the main reason mice like the G502 are as popular as they are; 2-3 more buttons than the standard lightweight gaming mouse ->

If you're willing to go outside of your comfort zone with a different brand I'd try the OP1 8k from endgame gear, even though it's wired it's seriously an amazing mouse. But if you're trying to stick with those brands then for Logitech I'd go with a superlight, even the first generation still holds up well today. And for Razer I love the Deathadder v3 as I grew up with that shape, but if you want a symmetrical mouse then a Viper V3

I have all or most of the mice mentioned in your post, and similarly have had issues finding a mouse that had a right side that felt normal. The XM2w caused my hand to cramp (even tho I played awesome with it lol) The E1 is the best overall mouse I've ever used imho. The shape is second to none in my opinion. I have the ec2-dw, the pulsar super light size 1 & 2ES) and many other ergos that aren't nearly as comfy. The cons to the E1 are - the buttons have a specific bounce/spring to them, so there is a tiny bit of rattle if you slam your mouse often - the scroll wheel is fine - the side buttons have a bit of a corner to them, (I just sand it down) I'm currently switching between the E1, the Viper V3, the Zowie S2-dw Oh, and the Sora is an awesome mouse with a great shape. It's god a cool internal structure that was fun to mod and get the weight super low. I missed having the curved finger grooves (so I added my own) but overall it's an awesome mouse that I mained for months before I got into ergos. The pulsar super light is awesome, but had specific curves (along the right side and front) where I never felt 100% comfy. I have the v3ES and the v3 size 1, and both were a bit off for me. And I also didn't love the raesha optical switches.... Best scroll wheels tho! The XM2w is certainly the best built mouse of these three. If there was a version that didn't have such an aggressive inward curve along the right side I would likely be maining this mouse. That and I wish it had finger grooves... It's so solid tho... My personal rankings: 1. E1 2. Sora 3. Xlite (does the v4 still use Raesha optical switches??) 4. XM2w (but if you like the shape, its potentially #1)

While this doesn't apply to everybody, in general lighter is better. While they are sort of overpriced for what they are, the top 2 (in my opinion) are the Logitech superlight and Razer viper v3. They're both very light, wireless, have a good sensor and more. The viper is slightly lighter than the superlight, but you can't go wrong with either of them tbh. But that's just touching the surface tho, there are so many other factors like what weight you personally like, your grip, hand size and much more.

I like the idea, but I think the execution could have been better. Of course I understand that everything is oversimplified for the sake of it being a chart with limited space, however I think the approach is also a bit off. I will say that you don't really distinguish between hand sizes (which is very important as this changes viable grips drastically), grips are way more dynamic than just the main 3, there was absolutely no mention of weight whatsoever, prices vary more than just over/under $70 (very big difference to buy a $70, $100-$120 and $170 mouse), ergo being only for palm grip (they're not obviously), no mention of other features or specifics of good/bad features beyond QC (which even then some of the mice you mentioned that are meant to be good have been said to have worse QC than some of those you flagged as bad QC), I would also say that some of the statements and placements are just straight up wrong but of course people have opinions and you can go in circles for hours so there's no point lol As such, if you're to do something like this, it's probably better to inform people as to specific aspects of what mice might be good for them for what reason. As in why specific claw grip mice like the XM2/Atlantis shape is good for claw cause of the raised hump and flare out causing the hump to fill your hand in a certain way, or that good fingertip mice typically have a flatter profile, mainly on the sides, which is often seen as nicer for fingertip grips. And I mentioned how important the hand size is as for example, a user with larger hands will struggle to enjoy an OP1 or BeastX (non-max) with a claw grip, but would be able to fingertip either mice, and same can be said for some of the mice for if you have smaller hands. A lot of the "top" suggestions are also very focused on the current cycle of mice, there's plenty of mice that came out in the last couple years that would be way better than some of the new mice but are in the "alternate" slot (NP01S being alternate and Helios II being top for claw over $70 for example). This is why it'd probably be better to do a guidelines list and a database separately, so instead of taking this single infographic as gospel, users will be informed of what works for what via the infographic, and then go to a database with characteristics and perhaps different recommendations for handsizes per grip, and even more info like main/side clicks, scroll wheel, skates, weight etc. Don't take this as like, hard criticism or something, it's all in good fun at the end of the day. Mice are really contextual and nuanced, so it would be a real letdown if new mouse users only come out with "this mouse good, this mouse bad", rather than information as to why what is good or bad for what etc. Sidenote: I understand and used to agree with the idea that the GPX is decent for everyone but not the best for anyone, but would definitely disagree with that now, in that it is very safe and good for many people, but it is also many top level player's top mouse after they've tried many (MattyOW just to name one in case you thought I only meant like CS pros or something). The safe shapes are good at getting people in the door, and then informing them of certain aspects will allow them to decide what could be better, hence I wouldn't not recommend GPX or Viper V3 just cause they're "safe", they're super recommended for that exact reason, that they will virtually always work well enough

how is wireless a waste of resources and totally unneeded on a desktop? razer viper wireless comes with a wire, logitech wireless comes with a wire, though expensive they offer top of the line wireless connections which feels like and functions like a wired mouse. you can also just plug the wire in and use it wired. i think the newest mice that have hot swappable switches+wireless with wire are the best options. depending on brand i can only find 2 available for my regions but both have generic logitech G pro shape.

I'm still probably going to go with the razer viper. I bought the ultimate back in like 2016-2018 and so far it's the longeat I've ever been able to keep a mouse both because my hands sweat when I get nervous and I flick hard so if there's a wire it'll be yanked out. I like the feel and fit of it, absolutely hate the company and the shit software you have to download just to get the mouse going and then get to uninstall. The only reason I'm looking to replace it is because the stand it comes with to charge or the metal pieces where the prongs on the stand sit are going bad and it won't charge without fiddling with it, and the rubber sides on both sides are just torn/worn down to the plastic lol, it still works amazingly and I still love the feel and size.

Deathadder V3 Pro (I do also have the Hyperspeed too but I keep gravitating to the V3 Pro) I tried the Basilisk V3 (didn't like it), tried the Orochi V2 (too small and hurts hands), tried the Viper (preferred Deathadder V3 Pro better), tried the GPro (prefer Deathadder v3 pro much better) For eronomic office mouse I actually oddly enough loved the microsoft sculpt mouse. It's like a big ball. But it's discontinued now. I also like the MX Master 3 but it can feel clunky at times - but I rotate between that and the DAV3 Pro.

Imo Razer is not that good. I had everything from razer. headphones, mouse, mousepad, keeb etc. and I can say that the overall build quality is bad, but razer makes good switches. Switches in razer huntsman mini are really good. Edit: Headphones - Razer kraken first gen and Razer kraken X USB - broken after 5 months (Same happened to all my friends) Mouse - Razer basilisk X and Razer Viper - Viper fast teardown and rattling problem, basilisk - Sometimes it was losing connection (the receiver was 1m away from the mouse) Keyboard - Actually good I still have it

I'm hoping someone can share with me the hidden insight of "Shape is best for you" 1. Shape matters 2. I don't see people walking around with 3,4 or 5 or 6 fingers. Hands seem to follow a pattern of how the bones are structured. This is to say that an ideal mouse shape does/can exist. 3. It's proven that the GPX is leagues ahead of other gaming mice. Apex tournaments, CSGO's best player in the world S1mple (at least when I researched mice), the aim labs tournaments. All won by GPX users. I can certify that in my own experience, I get the effect of "wow amazing" from razers narrow grip widths like the viper or the curvy mice - you can move faster. but the issue is you can't move *faster, anywhere*. The GPX keeps *all* of my hands tendons relaxed so I can whip the mouse in far more directions with far more precision.

I thought the same thing when I first swapped over but over time you'll get used to it. Went from 502hero to a razer vyper and I like it so much more. Also the joy stick might become a problem to with hitting krybonds. That being said a 502 or any clone has a ton of binds.

No joke, these scroll wheels are notorious for having issues that can be fixed by putting your mouth over the area to make a seal and blowing hard. don't know why. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/s/ujHk5HvoaK Personally I use a Viper for 4 years of compulsive fps and dota and my scroll wheel is great. My brother has one purchased at the same time that had a wheel issue. Just unlucky

Viper is nice. I liked the form of the deathadder myself. It's still superlight and responsive. Just felt a little nicer to my hand.
