I would recommend avoiding most of those brands if you are on a budget. Something like the VXE r1, Redragon M916/M918, Royal Kludge M30 or M3 or any of a number of lesser known brands will give better performance for cheaper. Edit: the HyperX pulsefire Haste 2 doesn't look to bad for the price given the limited time deal on Amazon. What is probably a paw3395 sensor, 53 grams for $39 isn't a terrible price. Wouldn't be my first choice, but it isn't awful
Not really a price discrepancy if there are different versions. I looked on the official website for pricing. But if you can find the SE+ or standard cheaper, then go for it. Also: https://redragonshop.com/products/k1ng-max-m918 For $10 is hard to beat for price to performance.
I would generally recommend avoiding attack shark. VXE R1 is probably the best option. You can also look at some Redragon options, M916/M918/M996 have paw 3395s under $30. Or if you have the welcome deal for AliExpress that+11/11 Coupon can get you some nice mice under $30.
It's not the G502 because after my G703 I am never buying a Logitech mouse again, I swear. I've had it for three years and the scroll wheel has been broken for two and a half of them at a $71 price point. I had some kind of wired Steelseries mouse, like a Rival 105 or something. I still use it today whenever I need to bring my laptop somewhere to do work, but I swear I would still be using it today after like 8 years if it were wireless. After watching that LTT video on the all-Redragon setup, I said "fuck it, I know their keyboards are quality and they seem to like the anime girl mouse" so I looked into it. Didn't get the exact same anime girl mouse, but I did get a slightly different $26 one with a Pixart sensor, same polling rate as my shitty G703, and standardized USB-C charging instead of the weird specifically-shaped microUSB. So, as it stands, if nothing breaks on it any time soon that's a strong contender for me.
I bought the m918 about a year ago, and I can confirm that the mouse is way worth the price. The sensor is very responsive, the mouse is incredibly light, and the shape is about the same as the G-pro. M1/M2 are satisfying and not overly loud. Side buttons are practically the same. Textured ridge-style scroll wheel. The biggest thing however, I'd replace the skates, preferably with dot skates if you pick this up. I use a Razer Gigantus large, and the stock skates were dragging along.
I tried most of them and I feel confident about saying that the redragon mmo (m918 I think ?) were the most reliable on top of being the cheapest
Well I didn’t changed them on purpose, they just all ended up being broken. And the funny part is that the cheapest has been the most reliable at the end
In the UK the Redragon M918 is hard to beat. The white or yellow colour is £30
Even then, I've been using redragons with 3395s at around 55g and 1kHz for about $35-40. Sure, it's dodgy, but it works for me, and it's cheaper.
Slightly unrelated but still useful info, when my Logitech super light broke I got a red dragon ultralight or w.e. and it was just as good imo for 1/4 the price, I wouldn't count out the mmo mouse.
