Can you try and force a different grip style? Many here are already suggesting fingertip, I would also give a shot to a more aggressive claw grip, where you gain space on the mouse by curling your fingers more, so you have more room for the rest of the palm (especially the back, which is what allows to push more into the mousepad to have more control). I have 18.5 cm long hands and I usually use my Motospeed X6 Max, which is 122mm long. However, recently I've picked up the Redragon M817 wired (which I wanted to try because it has a fully chinese new sensor) and it's 105mm long. Quite a big difference compared to what I usually use. I'm managing to make it work by making a more aggressive claw grip and curling my fingers a little more than I usually do. My palm makes no contact with the mousepad at all, just like it did with the X6 Max. I encourage you to try this as well as fingertip, especially if palm contact is important for you
Yes, they are good, but you will get their mice for WAY less than 70$. I got my wired M817 for 7€ on AliExpress this fall, using a combination of coins and coupons. You should be getting their mice for no more than 40$, and even that price tag would be too much for me, honestly. I recommend scouting AliExpress for them, but Redragon mice should also be available on Amazon. Just make sure to get one with a good sensor. They usually advertise them at 26.000 DPI. It doesnt mean you should use that DPI, but that's the capability of the sensor and it's good for identifying them. 26.000 DPI sensor for the Redragon mice is a 3395 PixArt sensor, which more than good enough for any application, even for hardcore gamers. If you want to, you can also look up the reviews for Redragon mice on TechPowerUp reviews website. You will see that they offer up to standards performance and have a very good cost-to-performance ratio.
Slightly unrelated but still useful info, when my Logitech super light broke I got a red dragon ultralight or w.e. and it was just as good imo for 1/4 the price, I wouldn't count out the mmo mouse.
