M901 Perdition

Well I didn’t changed them on purpose, they just all ended up being broken. And the funny part is that the cheapest has been the most reliable at the end

My last three mice have come from Redragon (M901 Perdition, M908 Impact, and now the M913 Impact Elite Wireless). The Perdition was a good mouse for what I paid for it, but I probably wouldn't recommend it any more (and I'm pretty sure the model was discontinued anyway). Whatever process they used to texture the plastic made it really flaky. The M908/M913 Impact mice are much better. I replace my mouse every 5 years or so. The wired Impact is dirt-cheap and the wireless version won't break the bank either. And I've most often had to replace due to fraying braided cables so now that I have the wireless one it might last longer. And it still comes with all the features like profiles and RGB lighting and fancy software, and unlike the Naga I once had (which was admittedly over a decade ago so this might have changed), you don't need to have the software running to have the full functionality of the mouse. Just set up everything how you want it and you never have to launch it again.

I never had a G600 (missed my chance), but I've used several other MMO mice. Razer Naga, Corsair Scimitar Wireless, and a few different Redragon mice. Of them all, my Redragon M913 is easily the best. No pinky button, but I use Ctrl and Shift as modifiers for different hotbars instead. You could toss Alt in as another one but I found it a little awkward to reach mid-combat. The Naga barely lasted a couple years and I hated the software. This was like fifteen years ago though; I don't know what might have changed since then. The Scimitar would have been great, but the wireless dongle had some kind of hardware or firmware issue that ended up causing intermittent crashes in my display driver that sometimes took down the whole computer. Took *months* to figure out the cause because I didn't think a mouse could do that. It was probably a distant outlier though because I can't find anyone else online who says they had the same issue. I've had three Redragon mice, all different models. So far, the first two (M901 and M908) lasted about five years before suffering some kind of wear-and-tear to the point where I wanted a new one. For a sub-$50 mouse, five years is more than good enough. If the 5-year pattern holds true, my third one (M913) should last until 2030 since I bought it last year.

Can you still get that WoW Cata SteelSeries mouse anywhere? I had that awhile ago and loved it because you could bind to Mouse Buttons directly but hadn't been able to find another after it broke. I currently use a Red Dragon Perdition M901 and it's decent, but has fewer buttons and I have to bind them externally to F1-F12 so I can set keybinds within WoW to F1-F12 to activate them

Got a Redragon Perdition in 2015, it was perfect for GW2 but I broke the left click button while travelling, though everything else was working great. I tried repairing it but got tired of having a glue bulge on the most used button, so I got the Impact to replace it in 2021. So far so good, pretty much the same but more comfortable with the thumb rest. Got the same feeling at first, I thought it would be pretty cheap with such a low price tag, but I've gone for it because budget was low, and I definitely don't regret it. Some of my guildmates already replaced their Razer, Logi or Corsair like 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years while they cost between 2 to 3 times the Redragon price. As always, your mileage may vary, but I've had such a good experience with Redragon mouses that I will keep going for them when mine eventually doesn't work anymore.

I had the same issue and switched to the redragon perdition a while ago. They seem to last longer than my nagas did and they're half the price.
