"Bought a $20 redragon mmo mouse off Amazon ... Have been using them ever since. ... I've gone through 2, but at $20, that's still less than one "higher quality" mouse would run you. ... Looks like the model I use (M908) is up to $30 now."
"for like $50 last time I checked. ... it's actually gone down in price go figure"
"I decided to try it primarily because of price difference"

"I bought one of these in August 2016. I just bought a new one when it started double clicking and missing clicks last month. I'll probably never use a different mouse. This was pretty much constant use for gaming and work for 8.5 years"
"better quality than the razer/logitech ones I’ve had ... I’ve had it 3 years and it’s still going strong where I had two nagas break around the 1 year mark"
"first one is still working after 6 years"

"You can remap the buttons using the program from their site, I have the 'back' button as Escape to leave in-game menus."
"It's meant for MMORPG gaming, so more thumb buttons than I know what to do with."
"They are plenty clicky imo and very responsive. ... I like how they’re angled better than the naga/logitech alternative also."

I'm using a Red Dragon M908 Impact. It's a branded version from an OEM, so there are various brands that have the same looking mouse. The mouse itself is on the bigger side, which I like, has multiple DPI levels as well software for further customization. It also has a "burst-fire" button, which basically offers 3 rapid clicks per button press. So in shooters you can press it once and fire off 3 shots for a single button press. I use this to fire full salvos in game all the time.
Same here. I had the OEM mouse that Red Dragon licenses for the 908 for like 4 years and the thing worked amazing despite being a $24CDN mouse at the time and the Red Dragon has been just as good so far. The only difference between the OEM and the RD was the OEM didn't have the number thumb pad but just 5 programmable buttons.

I used to have the G600 (the NA model, not the JP one) and will swear by it, as unfortunate it is that it ended production. Next time I need a replacement I'll just get the JP model if those are still around. Right now I'm using a Redragon M908, it has 12 keys and an extra trigger next to the LMB that's default to rapidfire but can be changed (I use it as a ctrl modifier). I've had it for a year or two now? With no issues.
Im a little late, but i use the Redragon IMPACT M908. I got it 5 years ago, and it has yet to fail on me. It also comes with weights so you can customise the feel. Considering how cheap it is compared to more higher end brands, it is an absolute steal. Absolutely would recommend.
I've had Logitech G600. Two of them, actually. They were great mouses - until they did break. Not sure if I was just unlucky, but neither of them did last as long as I had expected. It seems to be a bit of a hit and miss when it comes to Logitech quality. But currently, I'm using a Red Dragon M908 together with a Steelseries Merc Stealth keyboard. Not only was the Red Dragon cheaper to buy than the G600, but it has also lasted longer.
What Redragon did you try? I've been using a Redragon M908 for several years now, after my last Logitech G600 threw in the towel for good. Not only does it work well for me, but it has lasted longer than any of the G600 I've had. Unfortunately, few companies today create that type of gaming mouse. Redragon has several models, both wireless and wired. Since that brand doesn't work for you, the only one I can think of is something from either Corsair, Razer or UtechSmart. But I can't say how these brands are since I've never used one of them.
No, but it has a button on the left side within reach of the index finger. It's the Rapid Fire Button, which I have turned off since the anti-cheat software in an MMO could see it as automation, which is against the rules. You can see the mouse here: [https://www.redragonzone.com/products/redragon-m908-rgb-gaming-mouse](https://www.redragonzone.com/products/redragon-m908-rgb-gaming-mouse) I got it because it was the best option back when my G600 broke; I have never regretted it.
Current mice are all the same boring concepts; safe, but boring. Bring back fun mice and crazy shapes. I love stuff like the Redragon M908. Roccat Swarm randomly telling me I've clicked 1000 times and scaring the shit out of me? Bring it on! The Mad Catz Bat 6+ looks like an old school batmobile and I love it! I used to have a small collection of super gimmicky mice that I loved. Now it's like "well this one's .3mm taller and 2grams heavier." YAWN! Give me the old WoW Cataclysm SteelSeries MMO mouse with 3 different left and right clicks, a pinky rest, a ring finger button and 5 thumb buttons!
https://a.co/d/14ZJmU6 this one right here is what I replaced my naga with after the mouse button went out ( this happened on multiple nagas) Don’t get tripped out by the price tag this has lasted longer then both nagas and is bigger so it’s harder to click the wrong button. Right now it’s going for $27ish before tax. Try it out

I also use the redragon M908 and I love it, very pretty, runs smooth, great battery, no issues. A similar mouse for close to the same price is the Utech smart MMO mouse on Amazon, which is almost identical to the red dragon one except that the top of it has a different texture and a different logo.
This is exactly what I do lol. Same mouse too! Works great
I've been using the wired model of the Red Dragon 908 mouse in SWTOR for the past year or so, and wanted to look into getting a new one from a different brand. For the most part it still functions well enough, but the buttons are starting to show some signs of age and wear. They tend to get "sticky" on occasion, which has caused some issues with ability rotations during trash mob or boss fights. I find it especially irksome when attempting to use the keybind for one particular attack in the rotation, only to have the next one in the rotation be activated instead (which has thrown rotations out of sync more than I particularly like). So, are there any good suggestions for something that's reasonably priced (doesn't necessarily have to be cheap, I just don't want to pay the cost of a console for one mouse), has a good track record for performance and longevity, while also having a numerical button grid (preferably with 16+, ideally 18 or more, button options)? I might be willing to look into wireless options if the mouse offers dual support for wired/wireless use without connectivity/charging conflicts. Also, I'd prefer it be something that's readily available, new, and not refurbished/used. And—this should be a give in, but—it should have keybind plug-ability into SWTOR's quick bar setup. Thanks in advance!
