Can you still get that WoW Cata SteelSeries mouse anywhere? I had that awhile ago and loved it because you could bind to Mouse Buttons directly but hadn't been able to find another after it broke. I currently use a Red Dragon Perdition M901 and it's decent, but has fewer buttons and I have to bind them externally to F1-F12 so I can set keybinds within WoW to F1-F12 to activate them

I am new to pc gaming, I played wow amx struggled with that but I feel guild wars is so much easier also helps to buy an mmo mouse. I got the redragon with 12 buttons for your thumb and its made it 100x easier.

I use the wired version of the red dragon 12-button mouse (the design looks identical to the photo but black) and honestly it was the best choice of peripheral I have ever made.

r/Guildwars2 • I never thought I needed a 12 mouse buttons for this game but I hope it’s a big change in a good way for me ->

Got a Redragon Perdition in 2015, it was perfect for GW2 but I broke the left click button while travelling, though everything else was working great. I tried repairing it but got tired of having a glue bulge on the most used button, so I got the Impact to replace it in 2021. So far so good, pretty much the same but more comfortable with the thumb rest. Got the same feeling at first, I thought it would be pretty cheap with such a low price tag, but I've gone for it because budget was low, and I definitely don't regret it. Some of my guildmates already replaced their Razer, Logi or Corsair like 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years while they cost between 2 to 3 times the Redragon price. As always, your mileage may vary, but I've had such a good experience with Redragon mouses that I will keep going for them when mine eventually doesn't work anymore.

I had the same issue and switched to the redragon perdition a while ago. They seem to last longer than my nagas did and they're half the price.

Red dragon 12 button mouse is my go to, great if you want a few extra mouse binds. I don't use anywhere close to all of them but the option to is cool plus nice RGB for like $50 last time I checked. Edit: it's actually gone down in price go figure

My G600 finally died, and I replaced it with a 12 button Red Dragon mouse. So far, so good.

I saw a 16 button redragon, lol. Mine is 12 and has many years of service on the shoulders so before it dies I bought an even cheaper version of it with a different brand but it's pratically identic. Now i just need a good MMO to come out... still waiting

RIP my G600. Great mouse but OOP like others have said. I recently swapped to a Red Dragon 12 button mouse and that has been a decent replacement overall but it is missing some of the extra features of the G600 like scroll wheel clicking left/right and the right-right/third mouse click button. As far as 'feel' goes though? The red dragon is the closest match to the G600 I've tried. Cheap too!

Personally, I love MMO mice and have used them exclusively for 13 years now. Like other people have said in the thread, it will most definitely take some getting used to, but at a certain point it will click and just be completely second nature. I find having the ability to split up types of binds between the mouse and the keyboard is really helpful for me, especially with things like 4taa. One small thing to note though, most of the time MMO mice are heavier than standard mice, and if you currently use a light mouse it may be very noticeable. However I have seen a few lightweight MMO mouse models. As for mouse recommendations, I'm currently using a Redragon M901 wireless, was skeptical before I got it as I hadn't heard of the brand, but my friend swore by it and I'm honestly loving it so far (been almost 2 years now). The other models I've used were Razer Naga (not terrible, just wasn't huge on the shape/feel), and 2 different Corsair Scimitars (on both of them the left click actuator broke, maybe user error, maybe build quality issue, idk).
