Here are my reviews (focusing on ergonomics) of every gaming mouse I have owned since about 2004. Until this year, I have only ever used one mouse at a time until it dies. **Razer Deathadder (Original): 8.5/10** My first ever gaming mouse. From what I remember, I had no complaints: big, smooth, ergonomic, and a good performer. Only problem was it died way too soon (like most of my Razer hardware). Would have gotten a higher score if it lasted longer. **Gigabyte Ghost M8000X: 8.2/10** Too small for my hand, and an unusual shape – but once I adjusted to the shape, it actually worked very well for me. Attractive, good performance, and surprisingly ergonomic. Good ridges for lifting the mouse, too. Also had left/right scroll wheel and customisable weights, which were nice bonus features. **Mionix Naos 7000: 7.0/10** Really nice build quality and super ergonomic (I assume) for medium sized hands, but was ultimately too small for my hand. You also can’t adjust your grip, and due to the shape. I ended up modifying it by attaching the back of my old deathadder to its back, and then it fit like a glove, and the experience with it was pretty perfect from then on. Too much hassle to get it there, however, and it also died too soon. **Roccat Kone EMP: 9.4/10** Best mouse I have ever owned. Fit my hand pretty much perfectly (perhaps a tiny bit too small). Felt great, performed great, lasted many years, and had left/right scroll wheel. Became a little creaky after many years of use though. I also didn’t love the way it looked. Finally died this year, so I ordered another one (all I could get was an ex display model). **Corsair Ironclaw RGB: 6.0/10** I gave up on this mouse after about a week. Disappointing, especially after reading all the reviews that said it was good for big hands. Too small, weird shape, not ideal for lifting, and the cable is way too stiff and thick. But it was ultimately the scroll click which caused me to ditch this mouse, as it required way too much force to press. One the plus side, it’s a good-looking mouse, and is built solidly. **ROG Spatha X: 7.7/10** Decided to go all in, and get the biggest and most expensive mouse available. Size is pretty good, though still not spacious enough, especially for ring finger and pinky. But overall, it does feel very good in the hand, and I’m pretty pleased so far (I’ve only had it for about a week). Really nice build quality, Very attractive, nice lighting, All the extra thumb buttons are very handy. Easily replaceable switches are a huge plus. Downsides are there are too many sharp edges for maximum comfort, and it is one of the heaviest mice available. Good for general use, but it is a bit clunky for gaming, given the odd shape and heavy weight. I will go back to the Kone EMP for gaming, once it arrives.
Roccat kone xtd is goat, my first ever gaming mouse
Had the same problem for the longest time. Found the Roccat Kone XTD a while back, and it was PERFECT. Unfortunately, I recently reordered it as my last was lost a few moves back. Turns out those jerks made it 2/3 the original size, but didn't mention that anywhere outside of spec. I'm now sad and have a small mouse :-(
I had a Kone XTD for manny years (and AIMO for a short time). Love the big bulky shape. Used the TB Kone II for a year now. The mouse is really good. Basicly a lighter Kone XTD
Roccat Kone XTD, funnily enough. I thought I was looking at it just now
I am very interested in this also. I used Roccat Kone XTDs for like a decade and I loved how they fit my bigger hands but they were pretty trash for reliability and I went through several. My G502 just feels too small even after using it for like a year.
