Also late to the party but I just got this mouse last week. I've been playing so much Crimson Desert my wrist is starting to ache and wanted to try a vertical mouse. Here's some thoughts: The vertical position of this mouse is very comfortable. My wrist is at a natural relaxed angle. As far as the size, I have big hands and this mouse fits me just fine. Unlike others here, I do like the pointy buttons, this helps knowing exactly what buttons I'm pressing. I've used other MMO style mice and the flat side buttons those have made it hard to differentiate between the buttons. The pointy buttons here make it very easy; I've had far fewer miss-clicks with this mouse. The button placement is mostly fine, not every button is easy to hit and a few buttons are almost worthless. I'm okay with the harder to reach buttons, though, I have those set to less used buttons like opening the map or putting stowing weapons. I have the able to reach but with a stretch buttons set to things I want handy but don't want to accidentally hit, like health and weapon swaps. There are enough easy to hit buttons to cover what I need right away, like dodge and block. The software is fairly primitive; it gets the job done but it's not pretty. It looks like the on-board config storage is tied to the connection type maybe? I don’t see a way to store more than one configuration on each connection type. So you get one config for 2.4G and one for each of the Bluetooth connections. (Or maybe it’s 2.4G, BT, and wired each having a config?) I haven’t been able to find an actual explanation for how this works, so I’m going by what I’ve been able to work out. This is not a huge deal for me as I can use the 2.4G dongle for gaming and BT for my MacBook. So far I'm happy with this mouse and do plan to keep using it.

It sucks. You can't even set RGB colors. So your options are rainbow or nothing. Because there's no way to set it to a color that matches your desk setup. Just different rainbow effects.

Hey r/MouseReview I've been using MMO mice for about 15 years. Logitech G600 for most of that, picked up a Razer Naga HyperSpeed when I wanted wireless for on the couch. Both great mice but I work in the trades all day (plumbing, gas fitting) and by the time I get home to edit videos or game, my wrists are already cooked from work. Backed the Solakaka E9 Pro on Kickstarter for about $100 CAD. It's a vertical MMO mouse with: * 45 degree grip * 10 side buttons along your thumb arc * tri-mode wireless * 96 grams Honestly thought the learning curve going from flat to vertical would be weeks. Took about two days. Going back to the G600 or Naga after that actually felt wrong. I did a full comparison video if anyone's interested — weight, buttons, connection, real use in DaVinci Resolve and RuneScape. I'll drop the link at the bottom. Quick specs for the lazy: * G600: 135g, wired, 20 buttons (40 with G-Shift), discontinued * Naga HyperSpeed: 124g, wireless, 12 buttons, \~$140 CAD * E9 Pro: 96g, wireless, 10 buttons, vertical 45°, \~$100 CAD (Kickstarter) The one thing I miss is the Naga's free-scroll wheel. And the E9 Pro downloadable driver got flagged by Windows (false positive, smaller company) their online drivers work great as well!. As a long time user of the G600 and Naga, I'm happy to answer any questions about any of the three! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F537oPvxckE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F537oPvxckE)

2 of my complaints about it as well. No ring finger click and mouse wheel clicks, forward or back.

Unfortunately not, although I am sure that is just a software thing. Hopefully they add it later!

I know the G600 or Naga are basically the "official" WoW mouse at this point, sorry Steelseries. I've used the Naga or G600 for over 15 years (30+ year old gang reporting in), the 40 shortcuts with G-Shift, absolute unit. But I work in the trades during the day and by the time I sit down to game my wrist is already cooked. The flat grip wasn't helping. Tried the Solakaka E9 Pro, it's a vertical MMO mouse off Kickstarter. 45 degree grip so your wrist sits in a handshake position instead of twisting flat. 10 side buttons along the thumb arc, wireless, 96 grams. About $100 CAD for the kickstarter. Honestly thought I'd hate it. Two days to adjust. 10 buttons covers way more than I expected I only ever used about 8 on the G600 anyway, outside of PvP. If you need all 40 shortcuts the G600 is still king, I would for Arenas and RBGs. But if you're starting to feel the strain from those long sessions, the vertical grip is worth trying. Full comparison with the G600 and Razer Naga if anyone wants the deep dive: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F537oPvxckE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F537oPvxckE) Full disclosure: I'm not affiliated with Solakaka or any mouse company. Just a trades guy who games and makes YouTube videos about tech stuff on the side. I haven't played WoW for a number of years. I quit after WoD but wanted share something I find has helped me, with one of my old communities. If I ever returned to WoW, this mouse would probably be my daily driver for everything that isn't PvP related! The ring finger click + 12 Buttons on the G600 is still the GOAT for PvP, in my opinion. What mouse are you guys using for your daily driver?

Sorry, have to ask this specific question because it's eating into my brain. Last week I wanted to get a mmo mouse because private mmo server has been a godsend for me, free to play and a healthy population without botting. Dig through reddit and shopping app then I decided to get the solakaka mmo mouse while there is a redragon OEM mouse called eyooso X-39 because the solakaka is the only wireless option I have ( Just wanna get a wireless mouse since I'm getting fed up with wires on my desk ), But I regret it so much, the new mouse ergonomic is terrible for me, from a low palm grip to a higher palm grip, with my ( very normal ) grip strength, I keep accidently hitting the side buttons because they're too damn soft, spent several days getting used to this but I can't stop accidently hitting side buttons so now I'm looking at the shopping app once again. Is the redragon mmo mouse easy to lift up ? how hard do you need to press down the buttons ?

It’s like anatomically correct shoes. Everyone’s so used to the drastically incorrect thing. At least we know! I’m also looking at the Solakaka E9 / E9 Pro to see how that feels.

Yeah. I’m waiting a bit to see if I’ll get it. One thing I’ll note on weight and width (and in this case, shape and the orientation), width heavily affects perceived weight. My 55g Atlantis felt lighter than my 49g Atlantis mini due to its width being so much more. Same thing when I had a DAV3 for awhile so in the case of the Solakaka, could be similar.

Don't sleep on the Solakaka E90 Pro. It's the only proper neutral grip ergo MMO mouse on the market I am aware of (there could be others). I need a neutral grip mouse for my wrist to not hurt constantly, and so when this thing came along it was a godsend for gaming (I use the Logitech MX Vertical for work). This mouse was a kickstarter, and I couldn't find it at any local retailers. So I ordered it from their official storefront, which is Alibaba, strangely. I just googled and they have a U.S. based web storefront now too: [https://solakaka.net/products/solakaka-e9-pro-mouse](https://solakaka.net/products/solakaka-e9-pro-mouse)
