Got one for my girlfriend. It’s legit and would recommend as well for an mmo mouse that is.

I doubt it. I have had my wireless one for about a year maybe more and still no update. I'm here because I was hoping to find a fix for it and stumbled upon this sub.

I bought the Wireless version (it had a decent price and just has buttons in all the right places that I like). It's heavy. 103g. Probably a large part because of the magnetic shell bits; if modded and just like, glued or something quite some weight should be able to be lost. Sensor quality seems completely fine to me, I'm not that picky. Most side buttons are nice, the main 'big one' is kinda weird in that it's only pressable on the top half. No real complaints really, it just works.

The software for wireless version does not allow rgb color to be changed. It only allows changes of the effect. Hopefully they will update the software.

just wanted to come here to say that i bought the wired mouse and loved it so much i returned it within a week after finding out they had a wireless one. the wireless one is the best mouse I have ever used. I wanted a super lightweight mouse that had MULTIPLE buttons, impossible to find it seems. its extremely lightweight. only have to charge it about once every 2 weeks, ZERO connectivity issues. great mouse. i hope it has a long life. thats my only concern at this point

I have an old windows pc. I install the mouse driver there and config the mouse. When I was done with all the mouse setting, I just use it with all other pc without its driver. This way it should be safe coz configs (only a single profile) store in the mouse's memory.

I got the wireless version of this mouse. For the price, I can't complain really. The cheapest MMO mouse in my country is Steel Series Aerox 9 at $130. It is stupidly expensive considering it will last probably 3-4 years. For my use case the SM809 pro is great. It has 2 Bluetooth so I can use one for my PC and another one for my laptop while I reserves 2.4GHz mode when I need to interact with my mini pc cluster or raspberry pi.

i have both version of this mouse the sm809 (wired) and sm809 pro (wireless), the shape of the body is really nice it fits perfectly in my hand. the wired version is really light a bit to light for me 85g i used this mouse for about two weeks it just wasn't right for me so I decided to try the wireless version 103g i think and its perfect for me as im used to a mouse with more weight. both mice use different software and there is a big difference, the wired versions software has allot of control for the rgb lighting adding custom colours and 11 effects where as the pro version is very limited choice of red ,green and blue static and a choice of 7 effects with no control over the effects intensity or the lighting brightness .

Hi friend! Very late to this conversation, but the way you have your hand on the mouse, makes me think having a “taller” mouse might be more comfortable for you? Cause looking at your hand I wonder if something shaped kinda like a Logitech MX master might fit your hand well, cause it has this taller bump on the rear that’s supposed to force the hand into an ergonomic position, butI wonder if that taller profile would better fit the position of your wrist, by allowing you to palm the rear of the mouse better than a typical gaming mouse shape? The mx master is an expensive ergo productivity mouse, so I alternatively recommend the Solokaka sm809 pro (~$30-40 depending on wireless or not), it’s an 11 button mmo style mouse(swappable side plates with a sniper button also) that closely copies the shape of the mx master, while also weighing in at like ~85g (wired). The swappable side plates are nice, I’ve found I like to take the right plate (pinky rest?) off entirely, which that makes it kinda narrow. Even if you don’t use the mmo/sniper buttons, it has two programmable buttons next to left click that I really like cause I don’t have to reposition my index finger to press them. (Also if you remove both the right side pinky rest, and left plate with the programmable buttons, it weighs in at like. ~68grams, If I remember correctly). Again sorry for coming in so late, I imagine you’ve already got a solution worked out, but I wanted to make a suggestion just in case you were still looking! (PPS if you’re comfortable cracking open the mouse, you could easily shed some more weight by taking out some plastic rgb diffusers, or the PCB for the mmo buttons. I’ve got mine down to~73g after drilling a bunch of extra holes in it)

I was looking for a replacement for my beloved 2nd Logitech G604 since it's starting to have double clicking or sometimes no clicking issue again. Upon doing some quick searches, I stumble on this product, seeing it's very cheap price I decided to try it. So far here are the differences I have noticed compared to my old mouse. 1. This one is way lighter in weight. 2. No side clicks on mouse wheel. 3. Middle click is so easy to accidentally activate when scrolling up-wards so I just disabled it in app. 4. It only has the normal scroll wheel and no switch for fast scrolling. 5. Battery is built-in. 6. Application does not have an automatic per-app profile switching but it has manual profile switch. 7. It has a lot of space under the mouse for your ceramic mouse feet to work and balance it. 8. Clicking is more satisfying in my opinion. (It's more clickier) For now, I could live with the missing features that this mouse has compared to my old mouse. If this mouse will be able to stay with me for 2 years or more, I would be glad to buy another one if it breaks.

Yes, it has an onboard memory for macros. All settings are saved to onboard memory even if you are using it wired.
