All about your preference. I have had a couple Razers (not bad, not great), a gigantic Corsair (too large and heavy), and a couple Steelseries. My current favorite is the Steelseries Aerox 3 wired. Price is decent and I've learned to love the light weight and fit for my smallish hands.

SteelSeries Aerox 3 Snow Super light and comfy. Battery lasts an eternity I wipe it down every now and then and use a Q tip for the holes. But haven't had issues where it gets really dirty or anything. I guess that'd depend on how much dead skin you shed haha. But the grill design helps your hand breathe a lot better than closed surfaces, so less sweaty palms during longer session Moved from razer, happy af.

I don't use a mouse like that because I want it to be 'competitive', but just because they're genuinely nice to use. I've been using the [white Aerox 3 with cable](https://steelseries.com/de-de/gaming-mice/aerox-3-2022?color=snow&connectivityType=wired) for some years now and it's just all I'd ever want: Simple, light, nice surface (no gross rubber that deteriorates within a few years), and great value for the roughly 30-40€ it typically goes at. It also got a great braided cable that's replacable and so light and flexible that it never gets in the way. Since I like to cable manage my desk pretty thoroughly, I like having both mouse and keyboard with replacable cables so I can swap peripherals around without having to reroute any cables. The perforations haven't given me any trouble either, I just use an electric blower on it every couple months. I really don't see the appeal of the 502 by comparison. It's unnecessarily big and heavy, got more buttons than I could find a use for, has a rubber coating that can get damaged pretty quickly and gets hard to clean properly after a few years, and the two I had suffered different defects (one unreliable right mouse button, one broken scroll wheel). It found it to be overly expensive and with too many drawbacks.

I’m being partial here but the Steelseries Aerox family might be good for that price range. Aerox 3, 5, and 9 - the higher the number the more side buttons. The mice are in the 60-90g weight range, and imo they’re seem to be on the bigger end. Acceptably light, has good software (windows) for button remapping, generally good build quality. I’m using the Aerox 9 and it’s great for gaming and work - imagine having F1-F12 at the reach of your thumb!

Aerox 3 all day. My g502 just kicked the bucket and it has been an easy and welcome transition

I have my eyes set on this once my Aerox 3 completely breaks it’s mouse wheel. All SteelSeries mouse wheels are shit I’ve come to realize now after my 4th one

Good to know. At least it was 2 years. My 2 last SS mice lasted 2 months each. Had to file RMA on both. Luckily this one has not failed me that quick but I’m starting to feel like it’s acting up from time to time. But I will try clean it on the inside before buying a new.

Depends, I prefer my mouse lightweight and profiled like steelseries sensei/rival so I bought an Aerox 3, only bad thing that I didn't buy it wireless
