If U really like that shape you could get an aerox 3 and play it wired it's made by SteelSeries aswell
r/MouseReview • Any mouse suggestions? (wired preferably) ->I’m being partial here but the Steelseries Aerox family might be good for that price range. Aerox 3, 5, and 9 - the higher the number the more side buttons. The mice are in the 60-90g weight range, and imo they’re seem to be on the bigger end. Acceptably light, has good software (windows) for button remapping, generally good build quality. I’m using the Aerox 9 and it’s great for gaming and work - imagine having F1-F12 at the reach of your thumb!
r/MouseReview • Best Gaming mouse under 150? ->Depends, I prefer my mouse lightweight and profiled like steelseries sensei/rival so I bought an Aerox 3, only bad thing that I didn't buy it wireless
r/cs2 • Which is the best for cs 2 ->Out of the mice you've listed i would recommend the Aerox 3 as it's the lightest amongst them, i would also recommend you to check out incott g23, mchose a7 and attack shark x11.
r/MouseReview • Gaming mouse advice! ->steelseries aerox 3 wireless
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • Those of you who play on PC, what type of mouse do you use? ->I like the aerox 3 steelseries
r/cs2 • Why everyone says Logitech G Pro Superlight is bad and most pros use it? ->I have shorter fingers but, normal sized palms. This is my favorite mouse. I also have the Aerox 3 in the office. The software is so much better than the garbage Logitech stuff. However, it definitely makes me hold the mouse at a slight angle sometimes to hit certain buttons. I have owned the G600 and the Razer Naga. I prefer the Aerox as a gaming + daily driver by a lot. My only knock on the Aerox 9 is the wheel could be slightly higher. Also the side buttons could have been placed better to fit all hand sizes.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Id go with an ultra light like the Superlight 2 or Steelers Aerox 3.
r/SiegeAcademy • is the g502x a decent mouse for siege? ->Steelserie aerox 3 I was worried about the holes all over it but it's been an otherwise great mouse. Also I needed wired I refuse to use wireless.
r/playrust • To all the high hour players, what mouse you rocking? ->Loved my Aerox 3 before laser started giving way - Deathadder v3 servicing me quite well
r/cs2 • Which is the best for cs 2 ->Nice. White Looks actually good. Have mine in black for a year now absolute No Problems. Had the steelseries Aerox 3 before and missed the Sniper Buttons
r/LogitechG • Finally ascended from shitty mice with this. ->I love SteelSeries mouses, they have been my go to mouse since forever, but these days they don't seem to cut it, I have bought both Aerox 3 and 5 wireless and both of those started to have different kind of problems in the scroll. My girlfriend has also Aerox 3 and it also started to have problems in scroll, I have no idea what's up with them, is it the build quality or what.
r/MouseReview • Best wireless mouse for gaming? ->Of the ones you listed, I’d lean toward **G305 Lightspeed** or **Aerox 3 Wireless 2022** for the best mix of reliability and performance. That said, if your store ever stocks the PowerColor Alphyn AM10, it’s one I’d strongly pick over several you listed. It’s solid in build, the wireless is clean, and it handles everyday + gaming really well and it's just 50$, very similiar to the Logitec g502.
r/MouseReview • Help choosing a gaming mouse (wireless) ->Steel series aerox 3 - it's 59 grams are very convenient
r/aoe2 • what mouse do you use for aoe2 and why? ->Bro I used to love this mouse, my favorite shape of all time, unfortunately the newer models are bad for my grip style. I now use the steel series Aerox 3 which is pretty much the shape as the steel series rival 3, a cheaper alternative. I like how my palm feels resting on these mice, but I tend to use more of a claw grip. If you like using a palm grip the Logitech g502 would be good, it has a button in a similar spot as the sniper button and you can make bind it to do the same thing as the sniper button with the Logitech software. Edit: I’ll be honest man I’ve been looking for a mouse like this one forever. I don’t think you’ll be able to find a shape quite like it, I haven’t been able to. The only thing I liked almost as much was the razer naga.
r/MouseReview • Looking like a new mouse like mine ->This is a good brand, I was using my Logitech wireless mouse for a while and it was soooo laggy and kept disconnecting at the worst possible times so I switched to a wired Steelseries [mouse](https://a.co/d/bY3Jrq7). (Says wireless and can be used as wireless but I prefer wired.) It’s a clear/white honeycomb design with rgb inside (I love rgb) and it’s been great. For keyboard I don’t like a normal size bc I have limited desk space but I bought a kiiboom [keyboard](https://a.co/d/ahP0tIH) and it’s so buttery and beautiful and also has rgb (lol) and I was able to swap out a couple keys with some custom cute ones I got off Etsy.
r/CozyGamers • Mouse recommendations? ->The aerox 3 if you don't mind the holes. But the viper v3 hyperspeed is pretty good but it is on the heavier side.
r/MouseReview • Gaming mouse advice! ->Similarly, I use the steelseries aerox 3 and I love it. Plus it lights up, if you’re into that kinda thing.
r/macgaming • USB-C wired gaming mouse for MacBook Pro ->FWIW, I started off my PC journey with the Corsair Nightsword because I wanted as many buttons as possible and it looked like a spaceship. Quickly realizing I do not have the hands of a basketball player, I read good reviews, and finally purchased the Steelseries Aerox 3 and I think it's a good, lightweight mouse that can look minimalist if you prefer with good functionality. No complaints.
r/buildapc • Wireless Gaming mice without “gamer aesthetic?” ->This will be kinda of hypocritical of me but SteelSeries has a good MMO-style mouse. ***BE WARNED however***: I've had two steelseries mice (Aerox 3 and 5) and both broke within 2 years. - The Aerox 3 had its right mouse button stop reading every click. - The Aerox 5 had its middle scroll wheel stop reading every notch. Mad irritating and eventually made me leave the brand to Asus gaming mice which I've really enjoyed. Now that said, I really liked the Aerox mice. They were comfortable, light, and felt good to use. Hot-Take, i even liked their software. SteelSeries has ***The Aerox 9*** which is specifically for MMO/MOBAs. It would be exactly what you're looking for, just be aware of the issues I had.
r/MouseReview • Looking for Mice Recommendations MMO-ish style. ->1. I own a steelseries mouse with like 3 buttons (aerox 3 wireless). 2. Worth it : yes, necessary : no. Only one of my button is usefull, it's binded to ctrl which allows me to use my 3rd bar easily (mouse button + 1, mouse button + 2...). 3. Not really. If you've find a way to bind your controls that you like, got used to it and stuck with it, you'll get better. Be it with a classic mouse, a 25 buttons mouse, with a controller or by mouse clicking.
r/ffxiv • MMO mouses ->ok there isn’t anything such as a best gaming mouse. Y? cos imo what feels right in your hand is probs the best one for ya. btw i’ve mostly seen that people buy based on specs or marketing. not what actually fits their hand. ik pecs matter. but ergonomics and shape come first. so i’m gonna hook you guys to something that actually helped me. now one of the best starting points to hunt for a gaming mouse is: [https://www.rocketjumpninja.com/](https://www.rocketjumpninja.com/) Zy’s the guy who manages this. and he has tested like hundreds of all kinds of mice. wireless, wired, budget, premium you name it. but the interesting part is what he built. a really cool tool that filters mice by your hand size and grip (palm grip, claw grip, fingertip grip). **More about the site** 1. **Find‑a‑Mouse tool**: type in your hand size + grip, get actual shape recommendations that work. 2. **Hands on reviews**: talks about weight, balance, button placement, scroll wheel feel, and sensor performance in real use. 3. **Side‑by‑side comparisons**: like a Logitech G305 vs G502 X for size and ergonomics 4. **Practical advice**: guides on grip tweaks, lowering input lag and picking the right mouse pad for your optical sensor. **Why I’m even posting this?** cos I’ve seen way too many people chase max DPI or flashy RGB instead of figuring out if the mouse will actually be comfortable. ok i personally love this site (fan boy here) and I leaned towards the Aerox 3 cos of the tool. i mean it’s not in the top reccs. but for claw or fingertip grip it’s a sleeper pick. **good stuff:** lightweight design makes quick aim. the wireless connection is rock‑solid. battery life is good if you keep RGB lighting low. **not so good stuff:** scroll wheel is fine but not premium. shape is too flat for palm grip users. If you need more buttons for MMOs then something like the Razer Naga is better. If you want a safe, ergonomic shape then the Logitech G502 X is still a go‑to. note: whether you end up with a G PRO Wireless, Razer Basilisk, SteelSeries Aerox or Logitech G305. figure out your mouse grip and size match before you drop money. anyone else here use this tool? did it get your match right? or did you end up finding your mouse some other way?
r/pcmasterrace • Stop asking for the best gaming mouse ->Aerox 3 and QCK Prism Cloth XL (do not buy for RGB that shit will fade, just get a no RGB one)
r/FPSAimTrainer • Which mouse and mousepad are you currently using? ->Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless, amazing mouse
r/thefinals • So which rodent is guiding your crosshair today? ->Hi guys, i have been scowering the interwebs in search of an better mouse but even after some hours of research, im still not sure on the many options and was hoping for some real user feedback. I started to notice some wrist pain while gaming and was hoping to get a better fitting mouse. Currently i am using the Steelseries Aerox 3. However, it feels too small in my hand and especially the palm of my hand doesnt get any support at all. Do you fine folks have any recommendations? Ideally, im looking for mice with around 2 thumb buttons but the size matters more. Thanks for your tips!
r/pcmasterrace • Gaming Mouse recommendations for large hands? ->Steelseries is not as bad of a brand as people say it is. People just hate on it cos they don't have a super lightweight FPS mouse (unless you count the Aerox 3 and Prime series)
r/MouseReview • What take on mice will have you like this? ->Steel Series Aerox lightweight wireless
r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS • Those of you who play on PC, what type of mouse do you use? ->My favorite has been the Steelseries Aerox they actually just made a wow anniversary one. But my original broke after one year… so I went with the Corsair mmo mouse. It’s okay. But I still think about the Aerox lol 😂
r/wow • Best mouse ever? ->Went from wired to a wireless steelseries aerox, would never go back to a wired mouse again. No wires getting caught, can move the mouse wherever I want. Biggest upgrade I’ve done in a long time tbh.
r/csgo • What is the best gaming mouse for right hand with cable (not wireless) ->I’ve had my aerox wireless for like 3 years now with no issues
r/MouseReview • best mouse for competitive FPS games AND rough use? ->Yeah I use a SteelSeries aerox wireless and it’s fantastic. I actually tried a few different brands that I returned before settling on it. Also, I love their gg software enough that I upgraded my keyboard and wireless headset to SteelSeries. Razer mice are pretty good but I can’t stand their software.
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->I searched recently and just broke down and bought a Logitech. All the other vertical mice I could find were no name Chinese stuff from Amazon. I’d love for someone to comment if there is a name brand, reliable one that has a good sensor like OP is asking. The Logitech is fine but it does not have the precision and feel of the steel series Aerox it replaced.
r/pcmasterrace • Are there any good vertical mice with high end sensor and extra buttons for competetive gaming? ->Scroll-wheel is indeed the weak point in the Aerox series. After my 4th one I decided to just go back to fps mice. They're so much further in development, MMO mice feel like they're stuck in 2015.
r/MMORPG • Alternative MMO gaming mouse? ->Im happy w my steelseries, it has some good button placements
r/spaceengineers • Recommended Gaming mouse? ->Aerox, only cons: battery for wireless model doesnt last long
r/spaceengineers • Recommended Gaming mouse? ->From my experience, anything that isn't hard plastic (steelseries aerox) gets gunky and sweaty easily. does the rapoo have issues with sweat and grime buildup, or is it easy enough to wipe off once every few days?
r/MouseReview • Review of Rapoo VT0PRO - The MX Master Killer? ->I did a post a few months back, I've tried every single MMO mouse, wired and wireless, I'm currently using the Razer Naga V2 Pro, before that the V1 Pro, just make sure you register for the warranty on the website and they've been really good at replacing them when things like scroll wheels start to jitter. I've had the SS Aerox, G502/G600, Scimitar, Redragon, a lot of the MMO mice come down to feel of the side buttons, of which the Naga is the best for my hand shape. Not too big but with different enough levels you can feel every unique button, the Corsair had every even column ridged, but it didn't feel great, Aerox was probably the worst for this, the g600 was somewhat okay but I found the slanted buttons a bit too slanted. Have always regretted anything other than a Naga, had an original Naga, then the WoW cataclysm edition Naga, then Naga Pros since. Whenever I get one RMAd I've tried a new mouse before opening the replacement Razer, and I've always felt the Razer was an improvement.
r/wow • What MMO mouse would you Recommend for WoW? ->As someone who's had every iteration of MMO mouse, the cataclysm naga is the one I remember the most. Weirdly, my g600 lasted the least amount of time, I've gone through maybe 3 Nagas in my time, but I've used them for a decade, so not a massive shock. The aerox wasn't good, the corsair scimitar was not good. Razer have also been the best for warranties, even replacing a V1 Naga Pro with a V2 Naga Pro at my last return.
r/wow • Best mouse ever? ->Steelseries aarox. Turn off RGB and it's a great gaming mouse
r/buildapc • Wireless Gaming mice without “gamer aesthetic?” ->I have tried razer naga, corsair scimitar and steel series Aerox. My personal preference was the razer naga. All three have shit software that sometimes just won’t work or won’t save a keybind. Just ordered the redragon m908 off Amazon for $20 since a lot of people recommend it.
r/MMORPG • What MMO mouse do you use? ->I have the steel series and like it a lot. I had the naga V2 and it is the single worst mouse I have ever used so I would avoid that one if I were you.
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Sorry this is gonna be long response but your problem is something I have explored for a while and am passionate about lol. I agree it's pretty frustrating to find light mice with lots of buttons. I also love mice with 6+ buttons. Besides the aforementioned Aerox line (or even Rival 5) from Steelseries, there aren't a lot of options as they all start pushing 100g. An alternative is the corsair m65 which has tilt gestures, or the razer basilisk, but these mice are still 100g There are a couple things you can do to solve your problem though. One is software related, and the other is ergonomic modding related. Software can increase your binds, while modding can make mice (feel) lighter # Software: Use button shifting/layering in software to increase the number of buttons you have available. The only companies that I know of that do this is Logitech (G-shift), Razer (hypershift), Roccat (Easyshift) and fortunately your Glorious mouse (Layer Shift)! Try playing around in your glorious CORE software to enable layer shift and then you can effectively double/triple your binds # Modding: Mod your existing mouse (or one you like with lots of buttons) to improve ergonomics and grip strength. This in turn allows a stronger hold on your mouse thus making it feel lighter. This is pretty much what I did when all the mice I liked were heavy but had 8+ buttons lol For example, I too love my g600 and use it for a lot of stuff. I took it apart to solder new switches and i found out it has 2 metal plates inside to add weight (absolute blasphemy!). I took those out and it reduced the g600 by 30g, so now it's only about 100g, which is pretty light by my personal standards. Then I added grip tape to the sides and a wedge for my pinky, then switched out the stock cable for a paracord cable and now the g600 feels like a lightweight dream to use. Consider Clawmates by Struth Gaming for comfortable wedges to put on a mouse with lots of buttons. I use clawmates on a spatha X and razer basilisk for competitive FPS games and they feel plenty good to flick and track with, even with their heavy weights Hopefully all this info helps. Happy mouse searching/modding, pal! #
r/MouseReview • 8+ button Lightweight mouse for FPS recommendations? ->Only thing I would recommend is researching latency. Some mice have high latency to response time. But this caters to people who play competitive games. Other wise it’s difficult to tell the difference. If you play non competitively, I would just find a mouse that feels good, looks good with the setup and cost efficient. I forget what the top rated mouse is for low latency but I know the super light from Logitech is top 3 I believe. And the viper pro is up there as well. In my experience I would stay away from the steel series Aerox, i broke 3 of them in the course of a year and that’s with moderate use maybe 1-2 hours a day
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->I have tried most of the common recommendations (Corsair Scimitar, Red Dragon, Logigetch 600) and I've had the Razer one as well. They were all fine with some issues; Razer is shite quality and breaks consistantly, Logitech didn't have a wireless version, Scimitar was too unwieldy for me, Red Dragon's just kinda meh. I've been using the Steelseries Aerox for the past year or so and it's been amazing, easily my favorite MMO mouse I've ever used.
r/ffxiv • Looking for an MMO mouse replacement ->Honestly dont know about roccat much that you preferred, others i wouldnt buy, a friend of mine owns aerox and its a good one played plenty of games at his house so i might suggest this maybe..
