You have a couple of similar shaped mice. Steelseries ikari optical (q4 2007), ikari laser (q4 2009) were the first to feature this shape on a gaming mouse, qpad om75 (october 2013) and mionix naos 7000(december 2013) came later. Note that this era you could still feel a lot of generational leaps in mouse sensors. I own way to many and might need to do a post on forgotten mouse shapes. I agree that this shape was one of the most comfortable ones even though the left side on the ikari would slope outwards ever so slightly but was a bit less bulky on mouse 1 and 2. For my hand size an even larger sized version of the ikari might have been even more comfortable. Even though I found these shapes really comfortable, I was never able to aim really well with the shape. At the time I played really high sens and needed more control from squeezing the mouse with the side of my hand.
Steelseries Ikari. That shape fits like a glove.
Oh man I loved Ikari. The most comfortable mouse I have ever used.
