It really was such a good mouse. Lasted like 8 years for me before I went for a Steelseries Rival 500 which was the closest I could find in button configuration. But now that's discontinued too...

Rival 500 so good, I really hope they make a new one eventually

If you can find a SteelSeries Rival 500, that would be my suggestion. It's my daily driver still, and is pleasantly wide (just like me). They're not made new anymore, so this might be an eBay/secondary market find though.

Rog Sparta. Owned mine for over a year and I like it a lot. I needed something to replace my Rival 500, aka the best mouse ever made.

peak (swiftpoint z2) mentioned! other than this, i also own steelseries rival 500, EVGA x15 (and while its mainstream, cant forget the og Logitech g502). Runner up that id love to own is the godawful abomination Elecom M-dux70bk. Theres also a really nice DIY open source mouse, called lynxware im primarily an mmo mouse enjoyer so weights and size doesnt matter to me

I don’t have a traditional mmo mouse with the full numpad, I’ve always opted for something with 5 or 6 side button located round the thumb and a rest spot. They are super easy to get used to, however I played stuff like dota/lol with them before I started gw2 I have always opted for main skills on mouse and utility etc on the keyboard round wsad, 1-4 cxz for example, however I’ve always struggled with modifiers (ie shift + 2 being different to 2) so having unique keys for actions is important to me. Overall for comfort of mouse use I’d definitely recommend a mouse with a thumb rest on the side. I loved the steel series rival 500, however I think they discontinued it, so I don’t really have a recommendation atm

Steelseries rival 500. Extra buttons make this one a no brainer for a lot of games

Another vote for the Cataclysm mouse. My husband and I went thru 4 or 5 between us and they lasted forever. Steelseries second best mouse was the Rival 500 which they stupidly retired as well. It is what I am currently using and I have a new in box one waiting for whenever this one craps out. I wish Steelseries kept the unique MMO layouts as it set them apart from all the other company’s that use the 12 button thumb jungle like the Razer Naga…
