Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
if the AMA is still open... My hand size is 7" long (4"-ish palm?) with a fingertip/palm grip and I have an old SteelSeries Sensei RAW. Love the mouse, but it's 15yo. I mean... it's still working which is great, but do I have to put this through college too? I was wondering if you had any suggestions for mice I might like. Currently looking at the Pulsar X2A or the Corsair M75, and I'm feeling a little unsure. The M75 is a little above my price point, was hoping under $75.
Steelseries sensei raw, hands down best mouse ever
I have several different mice now: atk x1 pro: feels for me like only for finger grip and it's not comfortable, because back of mouse doesn't fit my palm zowie ec2-cw: my hand getting a lot of pain and I don't feel comfortable to play with all my palm on mouse (I want something like claw) sensei raw: just old mouse, tested a bit it yesterday, feels like not high yet for me. logitech g pro x superlight (broken): best overall of above, but it feels like buttons are maybe too high, could be better if they were lower. [https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/157sw3m/what\_mouse\_should\_i\_get\_for\_this\_type\_of\_claw\_grip/](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/157sw3m/what_mouse_should_i_get_for_this_type_of_claw_grip/) Post above looks same for my hand. Can anybody advise me a mouse for my hand?
I use the SteelSeries Sensai (rubberized) and I think ive gone through 3 in 10ish years
Mine was the Steelseries Sensei Raw Rubberised in white! Pretty mouse, fit well in my hand at the time, but the position of my cables was horrible and the cable kept getting tugged or rubbed by sharp angles in my desk so it died. Still miss this mouse sometimes.
gah damn steel series sensei what a throwback I've been out of the mouse game for awhile now. recent bought the vxe r1 se+ and holy shit am I astonished by what 20$ can get you for a gaming mouse nowadays
endgame gear took a look at the peak design that was the sensei, and asked "why isn't anyone else making these?" I don't know which one I like more between the two, but they are both perfection
I love how it's literally just a mouse no nonsense. ambidextrous. easy to macro.
Steelseries Sensei but smaller
I had been given a Steel Series Sensei as a present when GW2 came out and I actually played ele with it for the first few years. Hard to imagine now! I knew I needed one of these mythical mmo mice but the price was insane. £100 for a MOUSE? I nearly fainted when I found out what my brother paid for the SteelSeries and that was just 'normal'. When my second Sensei was on its last legs, (I had replaced the first with the SteelSeries Guild Wars 2 tie in version) I got one of the cheap Redragon ones and it was a game changer, as you've learned. Way too heavy for me, ultimately, but it did persuade me to bite the bullet on a proper one. I went with the Corsair Scimitar, because of the movable keypad as I have very small girl hands. Yes, the software has been quite a pain over the years, I used to regularly have to unplug and replug the damn thing because it wouldn't be recognised on startup, but I realise I've not had any iCue issues in a very long time now. (Touch wood.) I guess when things work they become invisible. I honestly think at this point I'd have to give up the game if I couldn't get another Scimitar.
Does anyone think it would be a viable business to refurbish used up gaming mice that aren't sold anymore? I've replaced faulty sensors on my old steel series sensei in the past and it's not too bad if you know how to solder. Just curious what people would be willing to pay for a service like that. I got upset when a friend told me they had to trash a perfectly fixable razer naga lefty edition.
