I was crippled at birth with left hand syndrome and I am looking for a bidextrous mouse. It feels these days like these options are shrinking, I had a Sensei Ten but the cat ate the wire. The Sensei Ten had 2 customizable side buttons on each side but not sure anything beside the G Pro 2 has these. Anyway, any long term opinions on Pulsar x2a vs Logitech G pro 2?

Ok so I ended up buying both and will decide in couple weeks which to return but here are my initial impressions: \- the Pulsar X2A has amazing built quality - I like the overall build and material better than logitech. \- I ended with a deal on the X2A es, so no pulsar software available but XMouse tool can do the side buttons \- On the X2A, I can only assign the buttons on each side separately - they are symmetrical on each side \- the G Pro 2 is the closest thing to my Sensei ten, I am able to assign all side buttons like my Sensei Ten 🥳 \- so far I prefer the wheel on the G Pro 2, the wheel is very solid on the X2A but it is a bit stiffer

Oh man... so this is a lot more complicated than I thought... Still don't have a definitive answer. I am planning on testing them until the amazon return date. Here are few things I noticed so far: \- Clicks on the X2A are more firm than the logitech, you need to change a bit your hand posture a bit to accomodate \- Same goes with the X2A shape, it is very slightly different from what I'm used to. It is subtle, like the position of the buttons and where you need to have your fingers to click. \- Wheel on the X2A is also more firm but feels more precise - originally it did bother me, but I slowly adjusting to it \- The G Pro 2 feels "transparent", it is very much the shape and everything I'm used to \- Skates on the X2A are significantly better, it's effortless to move it around and glorious in high DPI Overall, I am unsure yet which one is better or not. I bought both of these mouses as "Used" on amazon, the deals were so good, I am potentially keeping both. The logitech had definitely a little bit of use but both are so good quality, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these second hand. Even the shell quality is excellent, can be actually cleaned. The X2A plastic, is premium, there are no marks of any sorts.

Sadly steelseries has been going downhill build quality wise. The sensi ten was my favorite mouse, lasted well over 5 years. When I finally wore out the scroll wheel on it I replaced it with another steelseries and the left click failed after 4months. Same thing happened to its replacement at 6 months. Similar thing happened with their headset. It was amazing for 8 months, the RMA lasted for 5. Was then told I was out of warranty so I jumped ship to logitech and grabbed a g502. Having 4 Steelseries fail in about a year is crazy. They really started cheaping out on components.

I have a hand as big as yours and I have no problem with the sensei ten from steelseries. It's around 2cm longer than the one you are holding, so you shouldn't find any problems. Before that I had the older version of the logitech g403, but everyone is suggesting the g502, so I can recommend that.

I was searching for a Sensei replacement quite some time, since Sensei Ten had pretty bad quality and shitty scroll-wheel. Tried out a lot of things like Roccat Burst Pro and similar models... But ended up enjoying Endgame Gear XM2 8K. No bullshit, no bloatware - just a good mouse and a small 5mb utility for adjustments and profiles.

I got it lately and I don't feel it like gaming mouse. Its great for work, but after days of use I tried play cs2 and switch back my sensei ten for fps games. It feels like laggy, but I did tests before and it better than my old mouse even at 2.4ghz connection.

I had been given a Steel Series Sensei as a present when GW2 came out and I actually played ele with it for the first few years. Hard to imagine now! I knew I needed one of these mythical mmo mice but the price was insane. £100 for a MOUSE? I nearly fainted when I found out what my brother paid for the SteelSeries and that was just 'normal'. When my second Sensei was on its last legs, (I had replaced the first with the SteelSeries Guild Wars 2 tie in version) I got one of the cheap Redragon ones and it was a game changer, as you've learned. Way too heavy for me, ultimately, but it did persuade me to bite the bullet on a proper one. I went with the Corsair Scimitar, because of the movable keypad as I have very small girl hands. Yes, the software has been quite a pain over the years, I used to regularly have to unplug and replug the damn thing because it wouldn't be recognised on startup, but I realise I've not had any iCue issues in a very long time now. (Touch wood.) I guess when things work they become invisible. I honestly think at this point I'd have to give up the game if I couldn't get another Scimitar.
