The first Stewl Series WoW mouse was the best. I still can't find a mouse that good anywhere.

Corsair RGB gaming mouse. I’m on my second one (I dropped the other one and broke a button) and I love it! It has 3 buttons you press with your thumb and two for you index finger, not including L and R, and two buttons below the scroller. All of these are programmable so you can assign whatever key you want them to be. It’s a great mouse. The only better one I’ve found is the Cataclysm gaming mouse. It was colored like Deathwing - it’s no longer available, unless you want to spend like $300+ on it, from resellers.

Can you still get that WoW Cata SteelSeries mouse anywhere? I had that awhile ago and loved it because you could bind to Mouse Buttons directly but hadn't been able to find another after it broke. I currently use a Red Dragon Perdition M901 and it's decent, but has fewer buttons and I have to bind them externally to F1-F12 so I can set keybinds within WoW to F1-F12 to activate them

Current mice are all the same boring concepts; safe, but boring. Bring back fun mice and crazy shapes. I love stuff like the Redragon M908. Roccat Swarm randomly telling me I've clicked 1000 times and scaring the shit out of me? Bring it on! The Mad Catz Bat 6+ looks like an old school batmobile and I love it! I used to have a small collection of super gimmicky mice that I loved. Now it's like "well this one's .3mm taller and 2grams heavier." YAWN! Give me the old WoW Cataclysm SteelSeries MMO mouse with 3 different left and right clicks, a pinky rest, a ring finger button and 5 thumb buttons!

I had the cata version but the coating melted off. Guess my hands were too acidic.

Thank you! I remember having one but couldn’t recall why I had stopped, your comment reminded me of the cord at usb being finicky if it wasn’t in just the right position. Great mouse before that point. Replaced with a Naga, and so began my Synapse headaches, I miss that Cata mouse.

Where are people getting the cataclysm mouse for $40?? That was my all time favorite mouse, I have large hands and it fit me so perfectly and I haven't found a replacement that's felt even remotely as good to use. Currently using a Naga and it feels so tiny

The lower left was the WotLK Steelseries WoW mouse. I liked it, but there was some awkwardness. The Cataclysm edition was incredible, though, and myself and several friends swear by it being the best MMO mouse we’ve ever used. It didn’t have the odd button grid of “mmo” mice, but buttons that felt natural to click and flick. It was also massive, and we all had big hands that fit perfectly on the thing. I had two of them over the years, and Frankensteined them when they had both given out. In total, they lasted me about 9 years. They released other WoW mice, but they always tried to change up the placement of buttons and the shape. Nothing was ever quite as good as the Cataclysm mouse to me. After years of Nagas and G600s and other mice, I’ve arrived right back at Steelseries. I’m currently using the Aerox 9 WoW edition, and I like it better than all of those other grid based mice because the buttons are skewed instead of being a very uniform grid. My sister had the ZBoard. That thing was a mess. It was not a good keyboard at all. It still works, wherever it is. She retired it because it was trash.

First generation Naga was great imo, didn't like the later versions either. I loved the steelseries Cataclysm mouse and had like three of them but the quality was quite crap because they lasted like a year max. Great feel and weight though.
