I got mine today, really liking it so far. I bought it because we really only had one good option that had a decent sensor in a vertical format, before this mouse, the Trust Gaming Mouse GXT 144 Rexx. I used it for 5 years and the build quality and smoothness of the Razer is pretty nice compared to it. It won't be good for competitive FPS but games that don't reply on pin point percision are comfy with a verticle mouse. Using it for productivity is a good option also, as other vertical mice have awful sensors on them, compared to gaming ones. But yeah, overall really happy a bigger company made a valid option for gaming vertical mouse.

I bought this mouse about a month ago because I really needed an upright gaming mouse. I had already bought a Trust mouse, not a gaming mouse, which I was very happy with. I would have been fine with this GXT 144 Rexx as well, if it wasn't for the fact that it unfortunately disconnects and reconnects from time to time, and when it does during gaming it's a very annoying thing, you can imagine. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers but the problem continues. I don't know if it's a cable problem (but I doubt it) or not excellent compatibility with windows 11 ... I really don't know. For now I'm back to the previous mouse, which has 4200 dpi anyway, which allows me to play very well. The GXT 144 Rexx goes up to 10,000, but I kept it at 4000 anyway, because set at 10,000 dpi it made me seasick ... :)

I use the Trust GXT 144 Rexx daily at work. https://www.trust.com/en/product/22991-gxt-144-rexx-ergonomic-vertical-gaming-mouse . It's cheap (bought mine for around 30€ on Amazon, can be even less on a promo) . has great sensors, up to 10k DPI and doesn't feel like a shit 2€ mouse. I don't play games with it but I do some precision work. . has a full featured software suit that surprisingly only takes 4Mb, with RGB control, macros, etc. it's simple but featured, doesn't require logins, doesn't have fluff it doesn't need like other brands. . 6 programmable/macro buttons . RGB . Trust has been around forever, isn't a no name brand and does all sorts of peripherals. . I would prefer if the buttons were a little bit softer like the Logitech ones, but this is nitpicking, there's nothing wrong with these. Highly recommend it.

Mine didn't have the connection problem but it did develop scroll wheel issues. Scrolling up would often scroll down first before going up. This was 6 months in do I returned it under warranty and got a Logitech vertical. Amazing mouse but a bit too big for my hand despite having followed their guidelines for that. Will probably return it and get the Lift, which is smaller. If I had a bigger hand it would be perfect.

I mean, I wouldn't. I use it for work to reduce stress on my wrist. I don't find confort or the same levels of precision in a vertical mouse that I would want to use on heavy mouse dependent games. And there's nothing wrong with the device, it's really the shape of a vertical mouse that is not suited for the job, at least for me. If I'm playing any games in a more serious capacity, I'll need a regular mouse. I use a razer death adder and a Logitech G502, depending on the game. That said, if you can overcome this and somehow play well with a vertical mouse, the device is more than fine for games. It's a high quality mouse, the sensor is good, the buttons too, it's precise and doesn't go all over the place with fast movement like some cheaper sensors. Software also looks decent but I haven't explored it beyond adjusting DPI. I will definitely need a smaller version for this to be comfortable on my hand though.

[I liked the Hansker Performance better](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1jgps81/comment/mnot8po/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). Hansker is quite big, although its smooth shape should accommodate different hand sizes. Wrist might float. If you don't mind (stiff) wire: I find GXT 144 Rexx pretty comfortable. LOD is high and not adjustable. There's also Zelotes C18, it is very vertical (maybe too much so). I used fingertip grip with it, quite heavy though. IIRC LOD is also high and not adjustable.

Maybe try the Trust GXT 144 Rexx. I've had one for four years now and it's pretty good, responsive, 6 buttons, and switchable sensitivity. Not too expensive as well. Being vertical, then there is a small issue with unintended movements when clicking at high sensitivity settings, but I expect this is much the same with any option.

Had one of those for a few years, and bought a new one recently. The new one doesn't come with the annoying rubberised coating everyone and their mother seems to love putting on their vertical mice anymore I also started trying to mitigate the precision loss with the DPI switch, but that really only works for certain games.

Just switched from the gxt144 rexx to a keychron M5. The angle is really similar between these two. Really comfortable overall. However the gxt 144 rexx has an additional groove that lets my ring finger rest on it. The right button on the keychron goes down further and I keep hitting it with my ring finger which is used to not being near a button. Still a solid mouse though, I'd jump on it if you can catch them back in stock.

It doesn't have many buttons, but a good sensor with high DPI: Trust GXT 144 Rexx. Been using it for over 3 years, and I got pretty good with it. It's not the best build quality out there, but way above the thousands of cheap standard vertical mouse copies put there. It's pretty affordable too.
