same issue here, got the wired mouse and it's not connecting. i left a ticket about it on the github so hopefully it gets resolved for us, fingers crossed :)
i use a UTECH Smart Venus Pro. it was a random amazon find for about $40 usd but actually really nice. i’m on my second one, not bc the first died, but because they came out with a purple one that perfectly matches my setup 😂 old one is now used by my wife. i’ve probably put in about 3.5k hours in xiv between the two and no signs of issues yet. i have the wireless version; can be used plugged in as well (i often plug in to charge and keep playing lmao)

UTech Venus Pro Absolute banger
It's relatively big, the best part is that all the buttons on the side are contoured so that each row points towards the other, making it extremely easy to differentiate buttons from themselves.
Omg thats the mouse I was about to suggest, been using it for a few years and I dont any complaints besides its hard to clean btu i think all mmo mouses will be.
I have a g600 and a scimitar elite but still go back to using the Venus pro.
Shameless plug, I did a video reviewing basically every MMO mouse on the market: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ) The [Utech Venus Pro ](https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-transmission-technology-Ergonomic-programmable/dp/B07XP4K152/ref=sr_1_1?crid=W6S9G6YE0HJ7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.C5MBP_o3C1K4ShS2NpHfGIlFgDWE4TVyc6tF-5tWlwqS0Rqsfb8eTkKVYXyd_fSY.5CaiAkyGuwSH-K-PIAFGYj-mAWbITeURjNRw_P7UIok&dib_tag=se&keywords=utech+venus+pro&qid=1721526805&sprefix=utech+venus+rp%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-1)came out after I made it, and it's my new favorite, it's way better than it has any business being.
Yeah, Venus Pro is still my favorite. I actually have two! I use one with my laptop when traveling. The one I use with my desktop is starting to get a little unresponsive on some of its buttons, so I'm probably going to take it apart and clean up the switches with some [of this stuff](https://www.amazon.com/BW-100-Nonflammable-Electronic-Contact-Upsidedown/dp/B07FNBW47M) sooner or later
Shameless plug, I did a video on it a while back (ignore terrible white balance): [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ) Nowadays, I use the Utech Venus Pro which I think came out after I made the video. It's just been the best balance of comfort, weight, and features: [https://www.utechsmart.com/index/products/detail/id/25.html](https://www.utechsmart.com/index/products/detail/id/25.html) I also do like the Steelseries Aerox9 still, but it's not my first choice because it's not a good fit for a lot of hands.
I don't use an mmo mouse for BDO but I do use it for my other mmos that require me to use lots of buttons with a hotbar. For that I really recommend this one. It has a certain texture on the practice that keeps the thing from getting giga slippery or such overtime. It's almost like a light sandpaper. It feels extremely nice to use. https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-transmission-technology-Ergonomic-programmable/dp/B07XP4K152/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=D746H810IXOW&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9._MbtjPYj9yIW2gLI8ur-IOxumI2tuMQdpU8zxRlaMNgq-QFcUmjHlKnR5ddc0seLfFiSQ7WRYKthnqtevNMyra-uGtkNY9Jk261vrmD4-ZfOsNR6mf7tqIV3CtsanW-r6wSvNZZvi8SFDuJps21oY_cSI86ZgQY39F7pT0eOzokMjbpCii6OXsbeYYquc6nklaaBmb9U5ULkJukwF3ISDA.Zy4J4Mowy4ZMtZnsD-gwYWLIcJzdFoEdrnG1PkICwW8&dib_tag=se&keywords=utechsmart&qid=1744851089&sprefix=utechsmar%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
It may be on the bottom of the list... But the UTechSmart Venus Pro is the best mouse you can get hands down. Never ever ever waste money on razer. There are various tests that show how poorly they are made with little research.
I bought the UTech Venus Pro thinking "I'm not sure if really want an MMO mouse so I'll buy a cheap one and invest in a better one later if I do after it dies" It's been over 10 years and it's still working flawlessly lol
