Shameless plug, I did a video reviewing basically every MMO mouse on the market: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ) The [Utech Venus Pro ](https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-transmission-technology-Ergonomic-programmable/dp/B07XP4K152/ref=sr_1_1?crid=W6S9G6YE0HJ7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.C5MBP_o3C1K4ShS2NpHfGIlFgDWE4TVyc6tF-5tWlwqS0Rqsfb8eTkKVYXyd_fSY.5CaiAkyGuwSH-K-PIAFGYj-mAWbITeURjNRw_P7UIok&dib_tag=se&keywords=utech+venus+pro&qid=1721526805&sprefix=utech+venus+rp%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-1)came out after I made it, and it's my new favorite, it's way better than it has any business being.
r/Guildwars2 • What is the best gaming mouse to play GW2 smoothly? ->Yeah, Venus Pro is still my favorite. I actually have two! I use one with my laptop when traveling. The one I use with my desktop is starting to get a little unresponsive on some of its buttons, so I'm probably going to take it apart and clean up the switches with some [of this stuff](https://www.amazon.com/BW-100-Nonflammable-Electronic-Contact-Upsidedown/dp/B07FNBW47M) sooner or later
r/Guildwars2 • What is the best gaming mouse to play GW2 smoothly? ->Shameless plug, I did a video on it a while back (ignore terrible white balance): [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjEPkqTV7LQ) Nowadays, I use the Utech Venus Pro which I think came out after I made the video. It's just been the best balance of comfort, weight, and features: [https://www.utechsmart.com/index/products/detail/id/25.html](https://www.utechsmart.com/index/products/detail/id/25.html) I also do like the Steelseries Aerox9 still, but it's not my first choice because it's not a good fit for a lot of hands.
r/Guildwars2 • Trying to improve combat skills & am considering Action Camera and MMO keyboard and/or mouse. Worth it? Other ideas? ->I don't use an mmo mouse for BDO but I do use it for my other mmos that require me to use lots of buttons with a hotbar. For that I really recommend this one. It has a certain texture on the practice that keeps the thing from getting giga slippery or such overtime. It's almost like a light sandpaper. It feels extremely nice to use. https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-transmission-technology-Ergonomic-programmable/dp/B07XP4K152/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=D746H810IXOW&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9._MbtjPYj9yIW2gLI8ur-IOxumI2tuMQdpU8zxRlaMNgq-QFcUmjHlKnR5ddc0seLfFiSQ7WRYKthnqtevNMyra-uGtkNY9Jk261vrmD4-ZfOsNR6mf7tqIV3CtsanW-r6wSvNZZvi8SFDuJps21oY_cSI86ZgQY39F7pT0eOzokMjbpCii6OXsbeYYquc6nklaaBmb9U5ULkJukwF3ISDA.Zy4J4Mowy4ZMtZnsD-gwYWLIcJzdFoEdrnG1PkICwW8&dib_tag=se&keywords=utechsmart&qid=1744851089&sprefix=utechsmar%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
r/blackdesertonline • Which mouse do you use for BDO and what is your recommendation? ->Utech one is the best hands down. My wired one crapped out after a few years of heavy use but I got another and that's been going strong for years. I also bought the wireless version for my laptop. Id look no further OP
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->UtechSmart Venus Pro RGB Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse - been using for 12 years. Gets the job done.
r/MMORPG • What MMO mouse do you use? ->I use redragon m913 really decent mouse i use to have the utechsmart venus gaming mouse but it keep d/cing while charging its a solid mouse too but redragon one dont have that issue mind you both of mines are wireless but they have wired versions if you like that.
r/MMORPG • Gaming Mouse recommendations for MMOs? ->UtechSmart Venus Pro Been using it for 8 months its a decent mouse i was surprised how cheap it was for a wireless mouse have to get one due to my g600 died but g600 was king of all mmo mouses though. Mouse i use https://a.co/d/2v9HxJT
r/MMORPG • What MMO mouse do you use? ->The UtechSmart Venus Pro is the one I use, I've had it for at least 3 years and I'm just getting to the point where I might need to replace it because the top is a bit broken (the base where the logo is). I'm probably going to just replace it with the same mouse tbh, it's a perfect fit for my hands and very comfortable and works super well for the price.
r/MMORPG • What MMO mouse do you use? ->UtechSmart Venus Pro RGB Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse. I got it for $35 3 years ago. I would happily pay $50 for another one if it broke tomorrow. Extremely light, integrated battery(wish they were replaceable), USB c charging, full numbers 1-12, side button, dpi buttons, reprogrammable rgb or can turn off the rgb, low battery warning, decently good sensor. Battery originally would last a week of gaming sessions at full blast on rgb and 7k dpi, 3 years later it gets about ten hours on full charge and same settings. Will last multiple days gaming sessions with rgb off. Mouse software is easy to use. It's not the highest quality feeling, not the best of the best sensor but I love mine. I highly recommend it if you're looking for an affordable mmo mouse.
r/wow • I need a new MMO mouse. ->Me and my family have had utech venus mices (last 2 have been the wireless model which has a better program). Only had one break on us and we've had a few of them for.... 7 or 8 years?
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Been with a UTechSmart Venus since 2016. It’s now at 40€ but back in time I paid 17€ for it and still working pretty good for me. I wanted a Corsair Scimitar back then but was just teenager and didn’t have any incomes except for what my parents gave me so I took that one. I’m so used to it that I don’t know if I want to change now and it’s still perfectly working after 9 years
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Same exact mouse as the UTechSmart Venus (check it out, same mouse, same software different logo) and I’ve been using it for 9 years
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->When my Utech Venus had a sticking button after 7 years, I bought another one because I love this mouse for WoW. It's also very inexpensive
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I use a UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse that I got on Amazon. It’s relatively cheap and off-brand, but it works well. My first mouse from them started double-clicking on left click after 10 months of pretty heavy use (6+ hours a day), I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me a completely new one, which I still use to this day.
r/MMORPG • Gaming Mouse recommendations for MMOs? ->I also use the redragon M908 and I love it, very pretty, runs smooth, great battery, no issues. A similar mouse for close to the same price is the Utech smart MMO mouse on Amazon, which is almost identical to the red dragon one except that the top of it has a different texture and a different logo.
r/MMORPG • Any decent mmo mouse ->I stick by my opinion that the utech venus mmo mouse is fantastic. Especially for the $30 price tag. It does everything i could want and more
r/pcmasterrace • The 25 most recommended gaming mouse according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jun 2025) ->As with other comments, I was also coming to mention the UTECH Venus. There is a wired one for about $30 or wireless for $40 and not only does it have the 12 mouse buttons, it has quick dpi buttons by the scroll wheel to increase or decrease on the fly. Also if you go with the wired version there is a section to add or remove little weights to adjust the feel of moving the mouse. I’ve been using them for the better part of 8yrs and have 3 now. One was an eventual upgrade to from wired to wireless and an additional one to use at work (i work with alot of numbers and in just so used to using it)
r/ffxiv • Looking for an MMO mouse replacement ->The materials are different (the utechsmart venus has a more "rubbery" material and Redragon m908 is more "plasticky" material) and the utechsmartvenus is a little smaller and a little lighter. There's also another difference I dunno how to explain. Otherwise yeah they're identical
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I use this, UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse, won’t brake the bank and I’ve had it for 7 years now with no problems.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Same issue! 13” hands pinky-to-thumb… Oddly enough, UtechSmart Venus. Ordered it to replace my corsair scimitar on a whim, and I actually loved it. Just go ahead and forget about downloading the software, it is a hell of a time getting it to work…
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->UtechSmart Venus has got me through many many years of MMO gaming at low price point.
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->Yep, they hold up well. I got mine about the same time. It gets probably 35-40 hours of use per week.
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->I think they are good, for me at least. The angles are helpful to help differentiate between the rows.
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->Def utechsmart venus
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Best there is.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Actually, there is the UtechSmart Venus mouse that was before the Redragon one. I have been using the Utech one since 2017 and when Redragon came out with theirs I tried it and I like the Utech one way more as it was more grippy and the Redragon one was very glossy and slippery but other than that they're basically the same, even the program (at the time) was the same, but they literally just switched logos. EDIT: Actually looking more, now Redragon has a 16 button side mouse... i always wanted more than 12 buttons... but it is $50...
r/buildapc • Is redragon a reliable brand when it comes to their products? ->Hi, I bought a UtechSmart MMO mouse back in 2021, and I am still using it without any issue so far.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->It's pretty good imo. I haven't used them a lot, only 4 or 6 while playing WoW, but never had to complain.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Came here to mention UTechSmart as well! I've been using their Venus mouse- it's great with twelve programmable side buttons, two buttons below the scroll wheel (initially set to changing DPI but I've set them to move between button profiles), another one next to the LMB (originally a double click but again can be set to whatever you like), and RGB lights if that's a draw for you. And the fact that it's usually sub $40 with sales and what not is very cool for me.
r/ffxiv • Looking for an MMO mouse replacement ->MMO mouses for the win. Though I ventured off brand with U-tech and honestly, no complaints. The driver for it is decent and programmable. I don’t think I can game with a regular mouse again
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->Thanks for the recommendation, how is the feedback on the side buttons?
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Yes I went to Curry's in the UK, where they sell both of these and you can try them out. I could have RMA'd my Naga's in the past but didn't think to do so as I would have been without a mouse. The most recent warranty expired in February so I just missed it, I've been living with the issue for well over a year. I went through my Amazon order history and I tried a redragon and utech in the past and the side buttons didn't give enough feedback to be spammed, they were far too squishy, so I sent them back. The Scimitar buttons also didn't feel as good as the Naga, and it doesn't feel great in my hand. There are also lots of reports of the scroll wheel breaking too, and looking at one in person yesterday I don't think it would stand up to me either. The V2 HyperSpeed has a completely different scroll wheel design and I want to see if it lasts longer, it also uses a single AA battery that I can swap out for a rechargeable one, so I get a wireless mouse back finally too. I haven't tried a SteelSeries yet, but I really don't think the side buttons on a Naga can be beat. The feedback and spammability are amazing and they have never worn out. Having great side buttons is more important to me than a scroll wheel, as I use the side buttons in nearly every game I play. If it breaks again, I'll be RMA'ing immediately, but it already feels more robust than the other Naga models, here's hoping anyway.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Let me introduce you to the 35 dollar utechsmart venus... 12 buttons including a programmable "fire" button near your index finger for ptt thing is built like a tank I've used one for like 7 years at this point
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->12 buttons . I am more dextrous with my right hand so it can deal with the abilities . My left has its own keypad with a joystick to use for modifiers and other things . I use a utech venus, (there's a red dragon mouse that's got the same hardware but a slight cover change) and a F14 tactical assault commander. They work very well together . The less time I spend using my actual keyboard the better , for disability reasons.
r/ffxiv • Do you prefer using an MMO mouse with 12 or so buttons or an MMO mouse with a few on the side for modifiers? ->1) utech venus, but red dragon uses the same tech in one of theirs, I use it for everything 2)they are not needed, but they are absolutely worth it 3) for me, its a disability aid, it absolutely makes me a better player, but YMMV
r/ffxiv • MMO mouses ->Here's the 703 compared to the Utechsmart Venus I use. https://www.rtings.com/mouse/tools/3d-model-shape-compare/3d/logitech-g703-lightspeed-with-hero-sensor-vs.-utechsmart-venus
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->UtechSmart Venus, before that Reddragon Perdition.
r/MMORPG • What MMO mouse do you use? ->get a Utechsmart MMO mouse, this is just from my personal experience but they work really good, it’s just a little heavy but you get used to it, also there are a TON of programmable buttons on the side
r/pcmasterrace • Help for a mouse that fits my hand ->Would highly suggest against getting a corsair anything. Bought mine on sale, the fucker didn't even last four months of light usage before the scroll wheel started glitching out. Been using the utech Venus one for a few years now and it's been infinitely better. Much cheaper too.
r/ffxiv • Looking for an MMO mouse replacement ->Try one of the cheaper knockoffs you can get on amazon man. I gave up buying premium mice after a few years of somehow completely annihilating the mouse wheel on each of them (you don't realise how much you use it till it dies). Took a chance on a cheaper mouse rather than paying for another Logi / Steelseries / Razer product and honestly I haven't looked back. Currently using the UtechSmart Venus and finding it no different to the premium ones. Its not wireless but I'm sure you can find a model that is.
r/PathOfExile2 • MMO style mouse for POE 2? ->I used a Logitech g600 until it started having issues, then I bought some generic MMO mouse (utechsmart Venus) on Amazon back in 2018 and it has lasted far longer than the Logitech mouse. I bought a second one as a backup in case it ever goes out of stock/discontinued. They are not necessary but depending on how you set up your keybinds they can be. My left hand is used just for movement and pressing modifier keys (control, shift and alt) while my right hand is on the mouse and pressing the numbered buttons on the MMO mouse.
