On the VGN web it's $79.99 but I got it for $48 on Aliexpress. Is it good? I think it's going to be VGN's best selling product. ***my use case scenario -*** 10 hours + usage a day Hand size - 21 x 12 Temp - 90sF(32\*C) Humidity - 60% indoors(80% outside) Sweaty fingertips clammy hand Soft relaxed claw grip \*\*\* Shape & Size\*\*\* this is kind of an original shape, imo it's an elongated HTX or HTS plus with low triggers at around 16.5mm. I'm drawn to this shape because it's really sexy in my hand and it feels very inspiring. ***Build Quality*** the build quality is similar to a Lamzu inca, scyrox and for the $48 price on Aliexpress, this is an unbeatable value proposition ***Coating*** It's got a smooth medium rubberized surface. It's not ultra grippy but there's adequate tackiness for a secure grip ***Buttons*** the switches are also Omron Opticals and of course they are exquisite, very light and precise feeling. The other unique thing is the aluminium scroll wheel, there's not rubber band and it kinda feels refreshing. The side buttons are right there under your thumb because of how low they are situated. But they are a little far forward so if you have smaller hands they might be a little challenging. ***Feet*** the PTFE feet is serviceable but it's not as good as the ones on the Y2. I would probably replace them after about a month of use ***Performance*** another positive draw for me is the dongle/ or lack of a dongle. If you want a clean 8K without a little tethered brick, you could just stick this micro dongle to your PC and forget about it ***Value*** I got it for $48 but I think most people will be paying around 60-70. It's still very good value at this price, you are getting a newer more unique shape and no large dongle on your desk. pretty sexy looking mouse irl
IMO worse, uses older mcu - 52840 and costs more
I came from a VV3 Pro and Scyrox v8 and VGN F2 Ultra are now my go-to's, they are smaller and I can claw grip with stability while having the dexterity for microadjustment in Valorant
Nice shape and clicks, I just can't use it because the thumb buttons are weird for me.
For me I can't reach the front one and always end up hitting both.
Dragonfly f2 ultra is nice
VGN F2 is an awesome mouse. [Compare the shapes here.](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=vgn-dragonfly-f1-moba-vs.-vgn-dragonfly-f2-master)
Vgn f2 and Leviathan V4 would be my picks in that price range. Op1 and Xm2 8k would be the objective "best" performance wise sub $100 (and up if you just worry about latency), however.
I like to rest my hand on the mouse as well, so my pick is always an ergo shape. I’ve tried Razer Viper’s shape and VGN’s Dragonfly shape (which is similar to Logitech’s G Pro), but as soon as I got my hands on a Rapoo VT3 Pro Max, it became my number 1 mouse. What I personally would suggest you is to look on [EloShapes](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=razer-mamba-elite) for mouses that has a similar shape to the Mamba, this way you’ll know if the mouse you’re looking will fit your hand just fine. When I got my mouses/mice, I went for cheaper/cost-benefit options, just to test the shapes out. My plan was to move for a better mouse once I found my shape to go, but the VT3 fit me so good, that I just kept it.
