I would go with the dragonfly 3 pro max as I think the usually better click implementation on the VGN models and also the finger grooves on the clicks is overall better package, but both are great so you can't go wrong. If you prefer the colorway on the A9 get that one.

A9 is closer to GPX in terms of shape, VGN mice always take some creative freedom and change the shapes a bit. Check comparison on Eloshapes. Specs are a bit better on the dragonfly Pro Max, because it has 8k, but in terms of switches I generally prefer the pink shell pink dot on the a9 rather than the green shell white dot on the dragonfly.

Sure. Dragonfly 3 uses green shell white dot switches, rated for 100M clicks. A9 plus uses pink shell pink dots, they're a bit less harsh in terms of tactility compared to the green shells (at least in my experience), but they still have good tactility. The "downside" is that they're rated for "only" 90M clicks. My general preference goes to the pink shells. I like their sound and feel a bit more. Also, if you want a comfortable mouse for productivity - I'd recommend the DEX shape a bit more, since it's ergonomic. I can personally recommend the ATK Y9 Pro Max, and if your hand is on the smaller side- the Royal Kludge MG5 is a Dex mini.

Update: because I was not able to find a demo unit of VGN Y2 shape, I just bought one instead of the VGN dragonfly 3. As someone who finds dav4 fits like a glove in my hand, I would say that I still prefer that shape. I had to adjust my grip (finger placement: index on m1, middle on scroll wheel, ring on m2) on y2 to be comfortable when using it. Will try to post on my impressions in this subreddit.

You can go for vxe r1 it's pretty vfm mouse. There also mouse like atk a9 which is a gpx clone for 400 more and x1s which is a vv3 clone again for 400 more.

A decent wireless mouse too heavy in today's standard but if you don't mind the weight then it's a good mouse

I like to rest my hand on the mouse as well, so my pick is always an ergo shape. I’ve tried Razer Viper’s shape and VGN’s Dragonfly shape (which is similar to Logitech’s G Pro), but as soon as I got my hands on a Rapoo VT3 Pro Max, it became my number 1 mouse. What I personally would suggest you is to look on [EloShapes](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=razer-mamba-elite) for mouses that has a similar shape to the Mamba, this way you’ll know if the mouse you’re looking will fit your hand just fine. When I got my mouses/mice, I went for cheaper/cost-benefit options, just to test the shapes out. My plan was to move for a better mouse once I found my shape to go, but the VT3 fit me so good, that I just kept it.
