the R1 Pro has a nore up to date mouse sensor for better response times. but considering you're not playing competitive games, the Se+ should be just fine.
[Comparison](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=razer-viper-ultimate-vs.-vxe-r1-pro) as the shapes might look similar it will feel a bit different with back centric hump. But generally, it's not a bad choice. I am using the SE model and it is good for its money and for just that little bit more you are getting the proper sensor and more battery life.
Vxe r1 the lower variant go for under 2.5 k and its the best mouse i have had, i have owned Logitech 304, razer death adder v2x hyper speed and viper mini. Currently using vxe r1 pro i would recommend
There is no Coating on the R1 SE+, while the A9 Plus onwards gets a coating. The X1 series has coatings as standard
Voice for r1 se+ using it for the last couple months very good compared to my g304 as it's lighter and has the same but marginally better sensor
Its good love my 20 bucks r1 se+ to use sometimes. But for 60 you are better off with a mchose l7 ultra plus
