I ended up cancelling it and getting a VXE Mad R, the base version, and I love it, it's lighter and better than the R1 Pro is and it was around the same price, its definitely worth it
r/MouseReview • VXE R1 Pro/Max : Long term users - How is your experience so far? ->VXE Mad R Major is probably the best $50 mouse. Top of the line components, light weight, and a good shape.
r/MouseReview • What mouse should i buy? ->Logitech and Razer aren't worth it anymore, they are behind in development and live of the brand name. Smaller innovative Chinese brands produce better mice for half the price. Something like a VXE Mad R is as light as it gets at 38g and the perfect mouse. I also prefer the shape and weight distribution coming from the superlight. The basic Mad R is good enough, the Mad R Major comes with a different mouse wheel that feels softer but that's the only reason to consider to buy it, the rest is functionally the same. The Mad R is really well engineered and the successor of the VXE Dragonfly R1 which was already a stellar mouse.
r/MouseReview • Is the Razer Viper V2 Pro still worth in 2025? If not, what are top 5 <$100 wireless options? ->With the same hand size I alternate between the VXE MAD R MAJOR , Op1 8k and the X2 Crazy light with the same grip as you. All 3 come with grip tape which I use cause I also have sweaty hands.
r/MouseReview • Mouse recommendations? ->Over the last 12 weeks I have amassed a collection of mice and artisan mousepads that have been an objective excessive waste of money but I don't regret a cent of the money spent. Please ignore my scuffed grips, I didn't have much spare grip tape so I had to cut grip tape meant for 1 mouse to fit 8 lol Mouse collection: (all installed with Unusual Way Esports Magic Ice full sized mouse skates) - G pro Super light 2 - Lamzu Maya X - Hitscan Hyperlight - Pulsar X2 Crazy Light - Orbital Pathfinder (not in photo as that was the mouse in current use and testing) - scyrox v6 - Scyrox v8 - ATK Fierce X (not in current rotation) - ATK F1 Extreme - VXE Mad R Major - Pulsar Xlite V4 PRX Edition (not in rotation currently) - End Game Gear OP1 8K V2 Dark Frost (with Huano Silents) - End Game Gear XM2 8K - Final Mouse ULX Prophecy Small - Tarik Mousepad collection: Artisan Zero - Soft and Mid Artisan Zero Dai Dai Orange - Mid Artisan Zero Yako Edition - Soft Artisan Hien Black - Mid Artisan Hien Wine Red - Mid Artisan Hien Wine Red - Soft Artisan Hayate Otsu V2 black - Mid Artisan Hayate Otsu V1 Wine Red - Soft Artisan Type 99 Matcha Green - Mid Artisan Type 99 black - Soft and Mid Artisan Raiden Orange - Soft and Mid (not in photos) Razer Strider LGG Saturn pro - Mid X-raypad Aqua Control 2 - (not in photos)
r/MouseReview • I have a peripheral addiction AMA ->I would say in no particular order: - Orbital Pathfinder cause it has so much customisation for how I'm feeling on any given day. Don't feel like your usual claw grip is comfortable? No worries tear it apart and make an entirely different mouse out of the provided parts within 30 seconds - OP1 8k. Love this mouse it feels so snappy and so instant and a lot of my high scores on aim trainers have been set with the mouse however I cannot ever feel comfortable with it no matter the grip. I think it might be marginally too thin and too small but I put up with it cause it just seems to work - hitscan hyperlight. It's just a small, light weight well built, good click feel mouse with low click and sensor latency that just works. Fantastic smaller alternative if you still want a safeish shape that can be used with a variety of grip styles Runner up - VXE Mad R Major - feels quite similar to OP1 just wider at the front and less of a pronounced hump, no where near the same build quality but still similar in scores in game when testing. Just don't think it will be as durable long term but for how cheap it is I am not complaining
r/MouseReview • I have a peripheral addiction AMA ->100 USD? OR AUD? I USE AUD as I'm from aus so I would say around the $100 mark the VXE MAD R Major or a Scyrox V6/V8 or the god tier OP1 8K
r/MouseReview • I have a peripheral addiction AMA ->If you're looking for a wide mouse I would suggest a lamzu Maya X, g pro super light, End game Gear XM2 or a VXE MAD R major
r/MouseReview • I have a peripheral addiction AMA ->That one has grip tape on it. It's the VXE MAD R MAJOR. Fantastic mouse
r/MouseReview • I have a peripheral addiction AMA ->The Sora V2 sent me down this dang rabbithole. Tried roughly 20 mice after buying it in pursuit of perfection; mostly various ambidextrous mice similar to the Sora but also some ergos. The two mice remaining on my desk after 6 months are the lamzu thorn for mostly everything, and the VXE Mad R Major for CS2. The thorn is just so damn comfortable to me but it probably feels similar to the superlight in terms of weight. The VXE perfectly allows me to make quick & accurate microadjustments swapping between claw/fingertip. It’s 1mm longer and 3mm wider than the Sora V2 with flat sides compared to the Sora’s tapered ones. Most of the aliexpress mice I’ve received have been dogshit in terms of build quality, but the VXE’s been sturdy for nearly a month now. Side buttons on the VXE could be larger but I don’t use them for anything crazy in-game, just weapon inspect lol. I don’t see a lot of people talking about it since VXE is FTK’s budget line of mice, but at this point I’ll probs pray QC isn’t an issue and buy a backup copy.
r/MouseReview • What is the best mouse you can buy ->I just got a mad r major and the quality is super, top quality mouse.
r/MouseReview • Gaming mouse recommendations pls! ->I've used a lot of mice and VXE/VGN the Chinese brand make some of the best feeling mice. The Mad R Major I am currently using was only like £45. It has zero rattles, creaks, or weird creaky-ness to it, has a fantastic coating, most importantly has a godly shape for my grip style. It's very similar to the Ninjutso Sora V2. The Pulsar mouse I had been using before whilst feels great, just didn't have good QC had to replace encoder and clicks. Corsair's mice don't last any amount of time and the software is terrible, I get they have multiple products, but I don't to be reminded you make fans and keyboards whenever I want to change the DPI or something. Razer make some nice mice, but are definitely overpriced by around 3 times, and again software is dreadful and intrusive, it installs as soon as you put in the USB. Quite a lot of these mice also come with web based software so you don't even have to install and dodgy apps.
r/MouseReview • chinese mice changed my perspective on gaming mice as a whole ->I settled with the Zaopin z2 for work. A little heavier at 60 plus grams and the Vxe r1 and the mad r major for gaming. Lightest mouse I could find in 2024. 3 mice with heavy application of grip tapes on the sides. I find that flatter sides for the thumb and pinky finger helps alleviate the pain. Darmoshark N5 is another I could recommend, I didnt like the heavy clicks.
r/MouseReview • Largest yet Lightest Gaming Mouse? G502 is still too small. Carpal Tunnel pain. ->MAD R Major is a no brainer, i that you need to make an extra excuse to take anything else
r/MouseReview • Any Recommendations based on this three mouse? Also if you have other recommendations. Playing mostly fps games ->Recently got the Mad R Major and the Mchose L7 Ultra + (Plus, larger size). No complaints with build quality, and I'm honestly astonished with how light they are as well. They feel and perform great, and the lighter weight was genuinely a game changer. Practically no button wobble as well, which is a lot better than I can say about the Logitech and Razer mice I've had in the past. Unfortunately not really an ergo guy, so I don't have any experience with those to share.
r/MouseReview • Best Chinese Gaming Mouse??? ->I tried the Mad R Major and the side buttons aren’t as tactile as the Viper V2 Pro.
r/MouseReview • Is the Razer Viper V2 Pro still worth in 2025? If not, what are top 5 <$100 wireless options? ->I absolutely love the Mad R Major and the IPI Float 88. However, they're not big mice by any means and might not be comfortable for you if you have large hands. I would suggest the **Incott G23 Pro** or the **MChoose A7**, since they are Logitech Superlight clones and, in my opinion, more suitable for bigger hands.
r/MouseReview • Looking for a large lightweight mouse max 80$ ->I'm way too many mice deep now, G305 was my favorite in 2019, mice tech started getting better and better so I started collecting mice and getting 3D printed ones from PMM and shit even but still today the G305 and Prime Mini wireless is still my favorite shapes aim wise. I love the Vaxee XE-S, OP1 4k, and Mad R Major for aiming, but the way the G305 tapers inward on the front + the curved sides lets me lift it more naturally and gives more fine control/freedom playing at low sens. Even 3D printed a G305 modkit to put Viper V2 internals in so I could use it at 2000/4000 hz but my print was scuffed lol. Mchose G3 Ultra is sick but it's slighter bigger and throws me off a lil. Recently though I got that Attack Shark G3 that came out and I love it even though that sensor is a bit slower, it's like a slightly smaller G305. Dream is still to get Vaxee / OP1 wireless latency in a G305 🙏
r/MouseReview • My issue transitioning away from g305. Has anyone been through the same thing? What mouse did you end up getting? ->Mad R major Is good for claw. Even the coating is surprisingly good for a budget mice. You wont be disappointed.
r/MouseReview • BEST MOUSE FOR 80$ OR LESS ->Mad R major or the GPro. Simple but good
r/MouseReview • Best non-gamer looking mouse ->My atk vxe mad r major + just got competition
r/MouseReview • PULSAR XLITE CRAZYLIGHT ->I wouldn't say they are a competition (mad r and scyrox absolute blew high end mouse) With their ridiculous price for the same sensor Crazylight 43g ?????? bro my mad r major is 38g
r/MouseReview • PULSAR XLITE CRAZYLIGHT ->I have a Mad R Major and can really recommend this mouse It's lightweight and functional, good coating, great shape. I have 18.5x11cm hands and can claw it effortlessly. If you want a more pronounced back hump, go for Scyrox V8. Similar size to the Mad R If you liked the shape of the g203, I can suggest the Mchose G3 Ultra. It's definitely heavier than what I previously recommended but it's a 1 on 1 copy of the g305 shape from Logitech, with similar build quality and same skates placement, sensor position and side buttons. I think the mouse has some QoL issues (the standard cable they provide is too stiff, the dongle is USB-A compatible and Omron clicks could be better implemented), but overall it's a good mouse that's also very cheap and will provide a good experience
r/MouseReview • BEST MOUSE FOR 80$ OR LESS ->I fully agree with that you found from it. I bought the L7, Mad R (X2 clone) and Attackshark R6 (Atlantis Mini Clone) all cause their under 40g. The L7 fits right in the middle. It's not got aggressive curves or but it's not entirely flat. It's a very solid feeling shape and for the price you can get the mouse for even the normal L7 not pro or Ultra is a very very solid price for value.
r/MouseReview • MCHOSE L7 Ultra - Black - Review ->for fingertip grip the L7 for sure. The Mad R is more a full size (X2 clone) where the L7 is closer to a X2 Mini clone. The coating does for sure feel better on the L7 but weight wise they are very similar. If you want fingeritp grip then the L7 is a fantastic choice and specs wise and speed wise one of the best mice on market (wired competes with the op18k and nearly competes with it wireless as well.)
r/MouseReview • MCHOSE L7 Ultra - Black - Review ->I have almost all the mice that people are mentioning. imo the op1/xm2 are awful to grip like this, anything with even moderately curved sides gets pretty uncomfortable after long periods of time. I too have forayed into a finger tip grip albeit with smaller hands. If you get a pure fingertip mouse i think youll be disappointed with you handsize might lead to a bit of hand cramping. Id try stuff like the: * ATK MAD R MAJOR * Pulsar X2/X2 mini crazylight * pulsar susanto none of these have truly flat sides though. I did feel that the crazylight with grips was end game for me at one point. Pingu's aim is cracked but my experience with pure fingertip is this: it felt impossible to get the same grip consistently. Putting different amounts of pressure on the sides and downward on the mouse will affect how you aim in pressure situations. If you really want to go finger tip check out this one! hopefully it comes back in stock too [https://www.bymidorigroup.com/products/opt1p](https://www.bymidorigroup.com/products/opt1p) I think it checks a lot of your boxes and being wider may help with your sized hands hope this helps and happy aiming!
r/MouseReview • Looking for right FINGERTIP mouse ->Hi all, gaming and PC Peripherals have been a lifetime hobby for me. Played CAL and CEVO for Call of Duty uo-COD4. I like to think I'm a pretty decent hitscan but have fallen out of love with FPS for the most part (all the people I grew up playing with have quit or rarely play) all that is left is a competitive spirit and for some reason the need to aim well. Mainly play Kovaaks and Valorant now. All my personal bests are with the wired Vaxee np-01s and the Vaxee XE wireless. Just wanted to share some perspective, open up space to answer any question that arise in the process. I am typically and relaxed claw gripper/fingertip with hands on the smaller side. r/MouseReview • I buy PC Peripherals and dont have a youtube channel or relationships with any brands AMA ->Razer/Logitech are overpriced and not worth it imo. While they maybe seen as the "leaders" in this space I think they have fallen behind on innovation/shapes. I think that these OEM Chinese are the move right now especially at 1/3 the price. I was shocked at how solid the ATK Mad R Major was when I got it. You could look at the warranty from logitech/razer as a positive but to me for 150 i can by 2 to 3 mice from smaller chinese brands or think of that as the warranty in itself. I think if you are looking to be on the cutting edge of click latency the only move is the End Game Gear products wired 8k products.
r/MouseReview • I buy PC Peripherals and dont have a youtube channel or relationships with any brands AMA ->Unfortunately there is no definitive answer here for me. I think it depends on implementation. I think vaxee implementation the the blue shell pink dots usually feel great in my e1 and Sora they feel perfect to me. Ive had good and bad implementation of the omron opticals. in my sycrox v6 they feel terrible but in my atk mad r major and the majority of lamzu mice they feel solid but not always perfect. If your sensitive to high pitched noises they can tend to have a pinging sound on actuation. But for $30 imo any faults can be forgiven.
r/MouseReview • I buy PC Peripherals and dont have a youtube channel or relationships with any brands AMA ->I’m currently on the mad r major, but you seem to rate the Mchose l7/+ much higher. Can I ask why that is? I probably prefer the r1 shape over the mad r slightly, but I prefer the omron opticals.
r/MouseReview • I Currently Own Over 30 Mice, Send Help. AMA ->Already have a great setup (MAD R Major + ATK68 V2 Pro) but my endgame could be an OP1 4K V2 on a Raiden Soft + Wooting 80HE
r/MouseReview • What's your endgame mouse + keyboard? ->imo the regular sku gets over shadowed by the se and pro via price or performance, and the pro max is just. +6g on battery throwing off weight balance and adding a tad extra weight for hours of battery life you won't notice unless you have it on always on max polling. but if you really want 500mah because of battery life then you're also not the type of person to want 4k so in that case the se+ is better. also i pretty sure you can get the mad r for the price of the pro max which would be an even better mouse with a very similar shape
r/MouseReview • Is the VXE r1 the best there is currently? ->So many budget bangers there. If people know what's up, all these brands will significantly discount their mice. I recommend zaopin z2, vxe r1 mad r, atk x1/f1. These mice uses 3395 sensor, 4k polling rate capable, high dpi, wireless and uses good switches. All for below 50 USD. They're more than 3x cheaper than what razer, Logitech puts out.
