I'm surprised you've had scrollwheels die on you. I play apex regularly using scroll wheel for jumping and tap strafing with a WL Sword X magnesium for a year and I've yet to experience any issues. I also like the fact that they don't require a program to be downloaded to change mouse settings and is just a web portal. Your experience may differ but I found it way better than my Deathadder V3, Superlight 1 and 2 as well as Razer Viper. It isn't the lightest mouse around, but I have larger hands and it fits well with claw grip for me personally.

The most important thing is knowing your grip style. You want an ergonomic mouse. How big are your hands? Big hands will require wider mice. Do you palm or claw grip? I assume you don’t fingertip or you’d probably want a symmetrical mouse. In the case that you have medium to big hands and palm/claw I would recommend the WLMouse SwordX. Magnesium frame, L 123mm, W 67mm, H 42mm and 47g with 8k polling. All the bells and whistles. If you claw and have medium/big bands this is probably perfect for you but if you palm you might want something with a higher hump and longer mouse. If you have smaller hands it might actually suit you after all. This guide is around 2 years old so mice models and types have changed but this may help you find the perfect mouse for you: https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/s/g26eDTIrt7

Check out the Sword x from WLMouse for ergo recommendations. We have very similar grips and the Maya x was probably the comfiest mouse shape wise for me.

My hands are 17,5x9 and i tried the Xlite V3 Mini. It didnt really click for me and i think it was the right side being a bit too narrow or the pinky winding up too far forward cause of the length. I'm on a Sword X now, i was afraid it would be too big but because it is pretty low for its size it feels very manuverable but at the same time comfortable. It's very easy to move it with just the fingertips or clamp down with the knuckles when needed.

My hands are just a little bit bigger than yours and I have had success with the glorious model D and the wlmouse sword x, I also used a final mouse Tarik large for a bit and thought it fit well.

There are many comments on swordx that tell its clicks are too stiff and this puts more load on your tendons that are connected to finger movement. I would get swordx if this wasn't the case.

Recommend - WLmouse SwordX. I love this mouse so much that I hate I had to return it. It is just too big for me. I am RTS user mainly. And I play FPS as well. This mouse was a problem for me in everything I was trying. And I tried and tried for days to get comfortable. Could not. However, if you play shooters and you have larger hands, I can hands down recommend this one. I use wired only. This comes with both wired and wireless. This mouse is more expensive and has holes. The holes are not on the sides where your fingers would be. It actually helps with grip. And the price is because of the build quality. It is not plastic.

I tried Dav3 and it was to big. Hyperspeed to small. I have used an xlite v3 and really enjoyed it for a few years. I was having a bit of an issue with side flair. I moved to the WLMouse Sword X and haven’t looked back. Really good mouse with no side flair so a lot more comfy in the hand IMO.

I have loved the WLMouse Sword X, since I have been using it. Deathadder Hyperspeed a bit too small. Xlite v3 ES was good size but annoying flair IMO. Hand Size: 17x10

I would say Sword X. IMO. I feel like the hump isn’t as aggressive so it is a bit safer and the flair is non existent. So it is very comfortable on the right. I also love the lower weight and cool feeling. I would say for both try to get them at a location that does returns so you can try. Zowie may be easier in that regard not 100%.

For me at least, I preferred the Wlmouse Sword X, had a white dav3 pro and the faker edition before I switched (18.5x11.5 hands). To be specific the Sword would be a taller version of the DAV3 Hyperspeed, essentially a smaller but still comfy DAV3 Pro.

Oh yeah, those same still exist today. I used one for the longest time, but they always had cheap switches and broke very easily. Earlier this year my logitech mouse actually started to develop a misclick. And I went to a magnesium wlmouse. I can't really speak for longevity because I obviously haven't owned the mouse for an entire year yet, but it still feels like it did brand new and holy cow. It's probably the most impressive mouse i've ever owned. The mouse fits like a glove for me and works perfect for my hand and the way I grip. The gaming mouse market is just absolutely insane with how much competition and various sets of mice are available for the general public. A lot of the name brands have stagnated in so many ways that it's amazing to see all these small offshoots pop up with such insane products.
