what's your hand size & grip style? Since you already referenced a couple ambis: MChose L7 Ultra, Zaopin Z1 Pro Max..pick whichever shape suits you..but the internals will be better than the ones mentioned & cheaper

Yep, exactly what I meant. i think you'd probably be happy with either one, and they'd be suitable for your hands which are on the smaller end. Zaopin is an egg shape that I think gives a nice locked in feel, and the L7 is a more common shape. The l7 is a few g lighter, and there is a variant that is closer to the crazylight in weight if that's important to you in any way (39g vs 36), usually more of a concern of someone with a fingertip or claw style i would think

Omron optical are quiet but not that fun to click. Huano blue shell pink dots kinda replace the high pitch glass breaking sound of Omron 20m/50m/60m/100m mechanicals with more of a mid-tone range sound, so are sort of quieter. Then switches like “Huano silent” are pretty silent but also kind of meh to click. The quietest Omron optical switch mouse I’ve used is Attack Shark R6, then ones like Mchose L7 with Omron optical are also pretty quiet. Like I said, not a huge fan of how opticals feel, though. Besides that, mice like Zaopin Z1 with it’s Huanos are pretty quiet also, and VXE R1 Pro. If you know how to solder AND do a plunger swap, then Japanese Omrons are more on the quieter side as well.

There’s a mouse called Hecate G3m that has two different switches for each main click and you flip a switch on the bottom to switch between Huano silent and another more normal switch. Some of the more quiet Omron optical in mice like Attack Shark R6 seem to be just as quiet, though. If you want both quiet + a normal switch click feel at the same time, then probably something like Zaopin Z1 is best with it’s Huanos. Personally, I find the feel of anything besides Omron mechanicals a downgrade in click feeling, but they have a sharper, high range tone in general that’s harder to mask except in the most quiet of mice. There’s a switch PCB hot swap kit for OP1 that allows you to put in new switches with no soldering or even changing the mouse feet required. Putting Omron 60m in OP1 are probably some of the best clicks and quietest of the Omrons you can get (quietest of Omron optical like R6 are still more quiet). I’m just not a fan of the OP1 because it’s too skinny to use unless you’re a dwarf.

Depends on your grip style really. I have somewhat small fingers with a big palm (pincher claw) and I enjoy most egg shapes. You could give mchose g3 or zaopin z1 a try for example, super cheap but great mice. Stuff like vxe mad r or hitcan hyperlight could work well too.

Daily driving an RVU, switched from the RVM and before that, the Brick™. Love the shape, weight, wireless connectivity, the convenience of the charging dock, rubber coating, and the fact that the software allows for custom button mapping (not the rest of Synapse). Was expensive at the time, though.... For games, I switch to the Zaopin Z1 Pro. I find the egg shape to be super comfortable for gaming. No frills, lightweight, wireless, nice clicks. The software sucks but I don't really care about that besides setting my DPI and turning off DPI profiles. Plug in charging, not a dock :(

I have one and 18x9 hands. I'd say relaxed claw is closest to how I grip it

If the click broke, it takes about 30 minutes to disassemble, desolder, and resolder whatever switch you want, and only costs a couple bucks for a pack of switches. Common recommendations are huano blue shell pink dots or TTC gold switches. ....but this is only if you are comfortable with soldering. Save money and save things from ending up in the landfill. With that out of the way, I also have small hands, 16cm x 9cm, and for me I've found the op1 shape to be comfortable like others have recommended, but also enjoy egg shape mice like the Razer Orochi v2 or zaopin z1. Or just get the newest pulsar crazy light, same shape you're used to but better tech and lighter.
