Zaopin - Z2

The Zaopin Z2 is hotswappable and has good build quality, but unlike the G23, the hotswap feature is internal, so you have to open the mouse to change the switches.

Zaopin z2 mini would probably be a good one, it has a dpi button on the bottom you can reprogram. I like the bigger/regular z2 for relaxed claw with 19.5x9.5 hands. Extra buttons limits your options quite a bit, mainly a few from Logitech and Razer

I settled with the Zaopin z2 for work. A little heavier at 60 plus grams and the Vxe r1 and the mad r major for gaming. Lightest mouse I could find in 2024. 3 mice with heavy application of grip tapes on the sides. I find that flatter sides for the thumb and pinky finger helps alleviate the pain. Darmoshark N5 is another I could recommend, I didnt like the heavy clicks.

One of the best purchases ive ever made. Surpassed the G403 which i had back then.

z2 is insane value for its price, its the best mouse ive had. love its shape, feel and colors. and hotswap is a big plus.

I never had a Superlight so its hard to compare. From what ive heard despite being similar shape they feel very different. I would suggest watching some reviews. Its a bit weighty for a lot people but it feels very confortable. I use it for work and gaming. You can also hotswap the switch.

Zaopin is often forgotten but its quality is outstanding. Not sure why isnt as popular as the mentioned. I got a Z2 and its incredible.

the companies you listed pretty much have no issues. but im gonna rank them based on personal preference. 1. VXE/VGN (got the R1, but it creaks when i squeeze it, not a deal breaker) 2. Mchose (havent used any but they have really interesting shapes) 3. Zaopin (only have the z2 and its a solid performer overall) 4. Darmoshark (got the m3 but the build quality felt cheap) for context i also have a pulsar x2 superclear and a lamzu thorn that are priced way above the ones above and they have more issues than the other chinese mice combined.

The zaopin is soo freaking good. Super underrated, a year later and it's still performing like the first day I got it. Absolutely zero creaks and the clicks are super satisfying and spammable.

Zaopin is suuuuuuuper underrated, it's been a year since I bought it and the clicks are just as crisp and tactile as day 1, built like a tank, amazing skates, and no side to side play or anything at all. I'm speaking on the zaopin z2. Gonna get the Z1 pro soon. Mchose g3 ultra was quite disappointing instead. Creaking, switch grind, slow skates, terrible battery life. But I was one of the early buyers and it's not the best in their lineup.

I had logitech G Pro Superlight before and sold it. I have a Zaopin z2 now. Basically i have literally felt 0 difference, just the shape.

Zaopin z2 feels just like a premium mouse.

For Basilisk V3; its it's weight, sensor and skates. Also it's the most comfortable one. For Deathadder V3, it's everything. Shape, sensor, skates, coating... For Zaopin Z2, it's the same as Deathadder but there is only one downside for me and it's the software. For Viper V3 Hyperspeed, it lasts longer than my any other mice because it uses batteries and has a good shape even though I'm a palm grip user.

It's less curvy. Coating and clicks feels nice. Best GPX Dex clone in my opinion.

Been using the zaopin for months now def recommend and swap out the switches for something very quiet. Also swapping out switched on the Z2 are very easy just a few screws swap and assemble it back and you're good to go.

I got one Zaopin Z2 and it's my endgame. I put aside my MX Master 3S and now working with Z2.

I really love my Zaopin Z2. I just retired a brand new MX Master 3S and using the Z2 for everything.

It's probably a good choice. I like the huge battery that Z2 has. I work for weeks without the need to charge. All the construction it's pretty solid, it feels premium in every way. The only downside are the skates, that I already swapped (Tiger V2 I guess. But any PTFE will do the job perfectly, at least in my case). I swapped the switches too, using Huanos Brown Silent just because of the click noise. But the oem version are great.

Was there a mouse that caused you enough pain that you gave up on it? I have 2 atm mice: zaopin z2 / fantech helios, the format of both of them pleases me, but the z2 makes my tendonitis worse, I've already switched between them, and when I have the helios this discomfort is almost completely reduced. Relaxed grip grip and my hand would say it's a medium to small size

🥚 Fantech Aria For comfort though, I prefer ergonomics that have a low profile. Closest thing to that that I like is the Zaopin Z2.

I have around the same hand size as you ergo: DAV3, EC2, EC1, Xlite size 2/3, Zaopin Z2, Vaxee E1, Lamzu Thorn ambi: Maya X, VXE Mad R (small but I can still claw it), GPX, Viper V3 pro

I personally have only used the xlite large size , but I prefer the DAV3 shape over it. Zaopin Z2 is great its basically like a tilted GPX so not a full ergo.

I really like mine and the way the hot swap is implemented is probably the best I've used so far. You don't have to disassembly the mouse or unscrew the switches like on the Zaopin Z2, everything is just plug&play. Only thing i dislike is that the mouse feels back heavy

So many budget bangers there. If people know what's up, all these brands will significantly discount their mice. I recommend zaopin z2, vxe r1 mad r, atk x1/f1. These mice uses 3395 sensor, 4k polling rate capable, high dpi, wireless and uses good switches. All for below 50 USD. They're more than 3x cheaper than what razer, Logitech puts out.

I owned VXE R1 SE+ , Zaopin Z2 and ATK X1S but personally i'd recommend to use R1 SE+ as the price is too good with the performance and claw grips as well
