It depends on the type of gaming mouse. When it comes to the mice being used for CS, the main difference is sensor quality. I mean, I got my Zowie FK1 sometime around 2016-17 or so, so the tech may have improved since then for regular mice, but back then, gaming mice just had way better sensors. And then, you also get to choose the actual shape of the mouse (something ergonomic vs the classic microsoft mouse shape for example). When it comes to MMO/MOBA mice, you also get tons of additional buttons on the mouse. As it has been pointed out, weight and switches are also a factor, but I actually never gave it too much thought. When I got my Zowie I only really cared about having a top tier sensor and a classic microsoft mouse shape.

If it's longevity you're after, I've been on the Zowie FK1 since the collab with Neo (I'm thinking it was around 2014), and I still use it till this day. Still fully functional. I'm gonna guess that FK1 is not produced anymore, but maybe FK2 is.

I like the Zowie Fk1. I also have big hands(21cm) and ralaxed claw to claw.

Hi I'm looking for a new mouse. Currently using the zowie s1 as shown in the photos. It's been an amazing mouse overall for some cs2 but now looking for something wireless as I've always hated the wire even with a bungee and the only other gripe is I can't really use the front side button on this cause of my grip which I believe is a relaxed fingertip grip so if anyone has some recommendations I'd really appreciate it. My hand size is 19.5 X 9 cm, relaxed fingertip, hand anchored for mostly wrist hand aiming. Had no luck trying to find something with the side buttons placed further back or if a better shape exists for the grip. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

That's interesting thanks, on the s1 it's actually not heavier to click and I'm also just below the scroll wheel. I think if it was heavier I wouldn't have even used it and stuck with my fk1 but that has other problems with the shape, my grip does rest somewhat more central but strains my ring finger, not sure if it's a little too wide or too low.

Hi yes it is! I think partly it's just to do with our personal dexterity and sometimes wonder if changing my setup mainly the height of my desk to be lower so that I'm no longer an achored wrist and maybe train using other grips it might work but I highly doubt I'd ever get the precision as it is now. I've come to the realisation that most mouse manufacturers will simply always try to cater more broadly and there's no going around that. That said I do have an update, been using the zowie U2 for the past week and it's been pretty good overall. Definitely a big upgrade over the S1 and I trust it enough to use on faceit level 10 matches in cs2. Also have a fk2 and s2 clone here and I've only tested them lightly yet but the U2 seems to just feel better in the hand maybe it's the coating, shape, balance or all combined. I was half expecting to instantly order a zowie s2 if the shape felt better but it seems not, the u2 might be the better option for me at the moment. The combination of thicker side buttons slightly closer to the back but I do still have change my whole grip to reach the top side button though not as bad as it was on the s1. Also the battery life is surprisingly good I always forget to put in the dedicated stand and it hasn't run out in like a week. The balance and general quality you just can't go wrong with zowie.

Xm2 / X2 / FK2-DW (i’d wait for fk1 here though w ur handsize, so maybe save up?) Those are my fav mice for claw, i particularly like the FK. I also enjoyed some clones, R5 ultra felt nice (very small, ULX clone) but it was too light for me at 38g. The superlight / superlight shape (atk A9 ultra or pro max) is quite versatile, could do you solid. Aj159 Apex (slightly bigger OP1, it’s decent, but normal op1 felt more premium) All mice i’ve mentioned have solid clones & the xm2w should be within your budget.

fk1 comes to mind with your handsize, i have slightly bigger hands and use the fk2-dw perfectly aswell though, so you may want to consider that too! ”Ergo for claw grip” is pretty much FK in a nutshell, can recommend.

ZOWIE FK-1 maybe? It's their biggest one for large hands.
