I have no idea what my grip style is, I think it's palm grip, but when I click to throw my fingers onto buttons 1 and 2, they're kind of claw-like. My hands are 17 cm long. The mouse I liked the most is the Vaxee AX 4k, it filled my hand quite well, mainly because its back is higher, but I'm finding it heavy (73g). I've used the EC2, Xlite V2 (it doesn't fill the hand as much because the back of the mouse is lower), Lamzu Thorn, and Atlantis Mini. I think I liked it more when I had the experience of using a mouse with a higher back and being able to firmly place both fingers on the right side. Which mouse should I test? DA V3 Pro? NP01? Some kind of ergonomic claw grip mouse? video showing my grip on the mouse https://youtu.be/JLMY3onGg_Q?si=QpZT3qi3ohoSBK6h
OP14K / PMM Pulse, Hitscan Hyperlight, ZA13-C / PMM FUSE 8K, GPX, GPX Dex, ASUS ROG Harpe Ace, DAV 3 Pro, PMM NEO 8K, Pulsar X2 / X2 Mini / X2H / X2H Mini / X2N Mini, Zowie U2-CW, Waizowl Cloud, LGG LA-1, Steelseries Prime Mini, Pwnage Stormbreaker Max CF, Vaxee NP01, Vaxee Outset AX (I went through all my mousemarket and hardwareswap listings to find this lol) The XM2 was my second shape I had tried since I had gotten back into pc gaming in 2023, and I always ended up coming back to it. Owned an XM2we at first, and then eventually bought an XM2w 4K when they released. It just works well for my hands and my grip style, and I don't think any shape could replace it for me personally. I don't recommend spending as much as I and many others have on finding "the perfect shape" as you will go down a very deep rabbit hole
Scyrox V8, Vaxee PA Black. Might also grab a printed one like the Zygen since I love having this much stopping power on a such a smooth surface, just wish there was a TINY bit less dynamic friction. The PA's strength though is that it doesn't have excessive "static friction", just really good stopping power while at the same time starting mouse movements is effortless. Scyrox V8 is honestly perfect. Sometimes I wonder if I would like it even more if it was just a tiny bit wider so I might try an X2H medium this black friday.
Hi. I had a journey a bit like yours at the start of the year, it lasted more than 6 months. First, you should know that I play with Lizard Skin performance cuff. The objective was to get the best score on Aimlab on the Spider Ultimate exercise + feel comfortable on FPS. Like you, I did: Lamzu Atlantis Mini-->Logitech G pro x superlight 2-->Zowie EC2-DW-->Vaxee AX Outset Wireless 4K--> Lamzu ZywOo Med-->Vaxee NP-01S-->Vaxee NP-01S Ergo. Almost everything was bought second-hand on peer-to-peer sales sites, so it didn't cost me that much. In the end there were only 3 left... The 3 Vaxees. I wonder why I didn't buy this brand before. So, I made the XXL or XL mouse pad pilgrimage: LLG Saturn Pro Result for me... again Vaxee, I kept the PB V2 with the NP01 S Ergo. I'll spare you the mouse skate tests 🤣🤣🤣. But in the end I went back to the original Vaxee mouse skates. I'm in full Vaxee and I'm very surprised.
The larger NP-01feels like some parts are too big for my hands. I'm unclear whether it would be more suitable for larger hands, or if that's just a mismatch between the shape and my preferences. The Outset AX is the closest one to most of the mice you mention, but it's overall slightly smaller than the Terra. The blue color the Outset AX Wireless is offered in is my favorite -- the coating is significantly better than the black and yellow Vaxee mice I had tried previously. Some of the other colors are probably just as good in terms of the coating but I don't know so I won't recommend them.
1. glorious model d 2 pro 4k/8k wireless 2. vaxee outset ax, because holding my side buttons practically don't work. If I hold to crouch, I basically don't even crouch at all, let alone keep crouching. Mouse button 5 is barely functional currently. I might need to swap the switches (don't have the skill) or disassemble and clean it up (I tried that once and semi ruined my stock mouse feet, which I still use, and the button was still faulty). 3. I like model D's shape. I feel most comfortable with it. The D2 pro feels slightly smaller than the old D, so I like it's shape slightly less. I think I would like D2 to be a bit fuller in my hands, but I might not like that fuller version, as I tried the zowie ec1 before and couldn't play with it well because it was too big for me. I also want the outset ax to be slightly taller but maybe if I try that taller outset I might like it less as well. I also don't like the small battery and slow wake up time on the D2.
