I would replace the lamzu atlantis with the upcoming Xm2w 4k v2 it will have a better performance wise next would be a vaxee wireless mouse and lastly zowie wireless mice (dw)
Just personal experience, both are high quality and have good shapes but vaxxe just feels better for me. Also lighter in most cases
Imo lighter is better as long as you dont compromise build quality
> Weight means very little in competitive gaming. Price doesn't matter if the product is right for you. It's funny, weight for me is more important in my competitive gaming career nowadays and it's hard for me to go back to anything over 50g. But you're right though, if product is right then price is no object. I went from Zowie to Vaxee to FM to finally settling on the Pulsar X2 CL. That's over $600 spent on just four mice (if we're talking specifics, I spent way more than that on more than four mice). I'm even willing to spend more if Zowie ever goes the Pulsar route and begin venturing onto lightweight mice. In fact, I'll buy them in a heartbeat despite being over $150. Same goes for Vaxee, they are both fantastic companies.
I somewhat disagree with this, but I'll specify. Their Hero 2 sensor, objectively, is absolutely fantastic, and deserves its spot alongside the 3950 in raw potential. The thing is, the Gaming Surface/Surface Detection algorithm is very spotty in its tracking potential and is very surface-dependent. On Auto it seems to love to spin out on surfaces that have uneven coloring, designs, etc, basically pads that aren't solid colors. On On or Off it is way more consistent, and with LOD adjustments it ultimately works out very well. The 3950 is also not immune to this issue though, and while it has algorithms of its own and has its own form of "Auto" for tracking surfaces, it is much more LOD-dependent and many have reported issues in the past with glass pads and some soft pad designs giving the sensor some struggle unless the LOD is maxed out or set to 2mm. But I would consider Razer's current top of the line sensor to be easily comparable to the Hero 2, the main real world difference between the two being Razer's has native MotionSync without penalizing input delay, which is a big deal since most Motion Sync implementations usually came with a .5 to 1ms penalty in latency. Side buttons though, for the GPX yea they ain't special. To an extent they are opinion based (I say that with a grain of salt, because while they did make the buttons tighter and more responsive on the Superstrike, they still have quite a bit of pretravel, seemingly intentionally so. I think this is a perfectly valid criticism even if I personally like them.) For overall "bad quality", strenously disagree, BUT I will agree their QC for early batches of mice are *rough*, but I have also criticized many other brands for this too. Razer, Logitech, Pulsar for sure, Finalmeme, WLmouse, even Endgame Gear (their early wireless 4k mice had some small QC quirks), and others, with one of the only exceptions in my experience being Vaxee who seem to be the only company on earth that QCs every damn mouse out of the factory. As for pros using it, honestly, they mostly use it because its the shape they're most comfortable with ultimately, and since, like Razer and Zowie mice, they've already been tested on LAN and perform pretty rock steady overall. But we are seeing more brand representation on LAN which is a good thing, and as a result we're only going to see more and more competition heating up which is a good thing for consumers. TLDR yes and no. Logitech still has some superior tech, but they for sure got qc issues and strange design decisions that make them hard to recommend for many folks, especially the build conscious because their shit is hella pricey.
I've had nearly 0 problems with any of my mice. Vaxee and EGG seem especially solid though. Only mouse I have had issues on if i remember correctly is the original g pro wireless. Started double clicking
Personally if I was concerned about durability id get a vaxee mouse. They are built like tanks. I've never had an issue with them. Build quality is crazy good.
Check out Vaxee.. Endgamegear.. Lamzu if you want something pretty. The first two are pretty tame designed but are really sturdy, well built. Lamzu too, to a slightly lesser extent. Those are the 3 brands I vouch for. The translucent endgamegear mice have creaking problems though, not sure if they fixed it already
For me, it's EGG or Vaxee. Neither are following the "mega-ultra-super lightweight" philosophy, they care more about making incredible products. I've had my NP-01S v2 for around 6 months and I only regret not buying a Vaxee years earlier.
