Vaxee xe v2, switching from wooting for huntsman v2 tkl, and pd150+
Big fan of the Vaxee xe v2 myself
Mouse I’m open minded. I like a lot of different ones though I do use the Vaxee xe v2 the most. Mousepad is a different story. I’ve maimed an artisan raiden for 5 years and there is just nothing else that comes close to it imo. I like the xsoft, mid, and soft versions
1. Viper v3 Pro 2. Switched from Vaxee XE v2, because it feels more comfortable for hybrid claw/palm grip and I ultimately aim slightly better with it. I previously switched from the Viper v3 Pro to the XE v2, but the change did not stick. 3. Negative: I find the indent on the right side of the mouse to be slightly too narrow. Positive: I have 20cm hands and I find the mouse to be incredibly comfortable and to perform perfectly--it is easy to forget about it and just play, which is hard to find in smaller sizes.
cheers !! XEv2 < a bit on the heavier side. Ten Air is really nice only $90. And today I got the HTM Plus which will be the mouse of the year, It's a large hand 33g mouse that just released
EGG make great mice, XM2 is much closer to the GPX than the OP1 is. I would always recommend Vaxee if there's no budget limit, I think the XE (V2) is their closest shape to the superlight/GPX, but you can use eloshapes.com to compare.
Vaxee is truly goated. I’m beyond excited for their pulsar collab, still have my original XE wireless and often lend it out to friends, mouse is still going strong for 3-4 years, has taken 1-2 desk falls onto hardwood floors and even still the clicks feel almost just as crispy as when I first got it. Currently go between the crazy light and the XEv2 and the XEv2 build quality is light years ahead of basically every other mouse I own besides maybe a Zowie or EGG. Web driver also is clean and simple to use, totally with you OP, I couldn’t glaze them harder.

I have 20.3x10.5cm hands, and I use a claw/fingertip grip hybrid, but my ring and pinky finger are flat. I like to have a flat side and only the base of my thumb touching the mouse. However, it feels like whatever mouse I get, it is super uncomfortable for this grip style, despite that grip being what I naturally gravitate towards. It causes my pinky and ring finger to cramp often, even if my hold on the mouse is light. I would like to know any suggestions for mice that may fit this description/provide comfortable use with this grip. (If it’s impossible, I would still like mice suggestion/grip change suggestions) Here is my experience with specific mice: GPX2: I love the flat sides but was too thin for me. Caused a lot of cramping but was awesome to aim with. VV3 Pro: The size was a little more comfortable, but I felt like my micro adjustments were worse with how the sides indent inwards. DAV3: The shape is awesome but forces me to use a palm grip, which I am trying to avoid. The shape lowers on the side, forcing me to stop having that space between my palm and ring/pinky finger (which I would like to avoid). Otherwise, comfort levels were decent but bad micro adjustments. Maya X: Similar to the GPX but with rounded sides and a little wider. It wasn’t perfectly wide, slightly too thin to give me a little discomfort, but more comfortable than the GPX. The curved sides felt like it caused a lot of instability with my aim. Also, because I use a glass mousepad, the flatter mouse kind of forced my fingers into the pad, instead of being able to just hover over to drive my fingers into the pad for control. (at least on a comfortable level). VAXEE XEV2: Probably close to what I want. Slightly wider than GPX, (but a little thinner than the Maya X, making it still uncomfortable to use), a taller mouse which felt good on my pad, and supported my funky fingertip/claw grip hybrid well. However, the selling point of the mouse is SUPPOSED to be the bigger palm area, but since I dont use that area of my palm, it tends to be unnecessary weight or limit my fingertip control. TL:DR, Fingers too long, hand too big for my specific grip I gravitate towards, would like to know suggestions for mice that fit this description. Thanks for reading :) Edit: After some testing, an ideal mouse would be something more Symm than ergo, (though im not completely looking at symm, the gpx2 dex doesnt seem bad), with the size of the dav3/4, the height/back hump of the gpx2, and the side of the vaxee xe v2
Yeah, it just sucks that Vaxee mice aren't more available. Put me off trying any for the longest time, but the XE V2 finally made me pull the trigger. I'm still getting a feel for it but I'm pretty damn sure it's my favorite medium-sized symmetrical mouse I've tried. Def like it better than the Superlight and VV3 Pro which would be it's main competitors.
