The only things that I loved in this mice are the built quality and the clicks. They are so crispy and responsive. Unfortunately the shape of this mice is not for me (np01, np01s)
r/MouseReview • These 2 mice might be the 2 top mice on the market in my opinion ->The only thing I'd advise on the NP-01s or ergo variant is that they feel considerably smaller than the DAV3 (even the HS) - I've tried both, and although the shape was great on the NP-01s, the overall size just did not support my hands (18x11). To me, they both felt too narrow, and I found the lack of comfort grooves and smaller back hump not supportive enough to lock my hand either. Vaxee is incredible, but their pricing and lack of returnability make trying their shapes a challenge, especially for bigger hands. If you're willing to wait, I did have a Vaxee rep tell me they're targetting Q1 2026 for the release of the new NP-01 (the bigger variant) that may be better for your hand size (based on the DAV3 HS size). As an aside, you should check cs2 pro settings out. A surprising number of them use the DAV3 Hyperspeed over even the V4 because of the smaller size. Shape remains king :-)
r/MouseReview • Tried an ergo for the 1st time (Razer DAv3 Hyperspeed) ->i've tried an np-01s v1 and i have an e1. i agree, their wireless implementation is great, very snappy and responsive, build quality is very good and the e1 has the best feeling mechanical switches i have used.
r/MouseReview • These 2 mice might be the 2 top mice on the market in my opinion ->no but how the sensor is implemented can make a difference. i'd rather have a "worse" sensor that is implemented well than a "better" one thats implemented poorly. maybe its the unit i received, i dunno but i'm just now trying out a razer deathadder v4 pro and i feel like it has a "floaty" sensor, in comparison the deathadder v3 hyperspeed i tried felt really snappy despite having a "worse" sensor. i remember the first time i tried a vaxee mouse and the thing that stuck out sensor wise was how responsive and snappy it felt compared to other mice i tried using the same sensor. i mean if you can, why not try it out for yourself and get a superlight 2 you can return if its not for you?
r/MouseReview • Are ultra expensive gaming mouses like the Superlight 2 more accurate in terms of sensor, compared to medium priced gaming mouses? ->you basically drew an op1 and VAXEE xe/xe-s. consider those or an ergonomic mouse like the vaxee e1, ec2/3-dw, or pulsar xlite. even the VAXEE np-01s might be the best shape for you, based on the issues described. it has more ring and pinky support than any non-ergo mouse I've used and you can easily be agile with it and have a flexible grip, while having more support for the thumb and ring/pinky fingers.
r/MouseReview • My problem with most ambidextrous Mice ->Listen man, if you’re unsure of your grip and your experience is with a large ergo mice like the basilisk/G502, you’re in for a rabbit hole chase of peripherals. IMO don’t listen to people here telling you your grip is claw relaxed or XYZ, because the truth is that your grip style changes with the mouse if you’re inexperienced. Try safe general shapes, such as the latest ergo ones (pulsar xlite crazy light, Vaxee NP-01S, logitech dex, etc) or general symmetrical ones (logitech superlight, razer viper V3, etc). My best advice is get rid of the notion that you need side buttons and learn to use the keyboard more, it will really open up your options. Second best advice, the Orbital pathfinder is likely the best choice for you right now because it will allow you to try EVERYTHING so that you really learn your grip/style, and it’s also a good quality light mouse. If you can stomach the initial price, it is worth it and probably will save you money long term.

r/MouseReview • I Currently Own Over 30 Mice, Send Help. AMA ->Vaxee Zygen np01 wireless. Company was started by a bunch of the Zowie engineers. I play shooters more than I play AOE or mobas so weight, shape, and sensor were more important. As long as the mouse has at least a 3360 sensor or newer it's going to be nearly flawless for tracking purposes. Just find the shape that fits your hand best.
r/aoe2 • what mouse do you use for aoe2 and why? ->I have bigger hands than you and the gpx2 feels extremely small to me but I've been using the vaxee np01 4k lately and although it's shorter it's also a lot wider at the back so it fits nicely into my hand for claw grip. It's not an ambi shape but it's not ergo either, it's got a really subtle shape, I'd recommend it to anyone.
r/MouseReview • Mouse Recommendation (For Larger Hands) ->Honestly not really, I've used mice that are extremely light but the wrong shape and as such they don't feel good at all, the Np01 feels like it's made for claw grip so it feels great in hand so the weight becomes a none issue
r/MouseReview • Mouse Recommendation (For Larger Hands) ->Yeah vaxee especially I'm in the UK as well, I got the NP01 4k for £65 and he left the receipt in the box, he'd only had it for a couple of months so I'm really happy with that. I will say I don't mind the weight but in the same way I'd probably upgrade if they released one lighter, I have to stop myself buying one of those new EC DW mice now that they released light versions.
r/MouseReview • Bought the Hitscan Hyperlight Mouse for just £50! - AMA ->I have an NP01 4k and I love everything about it I just wish it were a little bigger, if Vaxee made something closer to EC1 size I'd buy 2
r/MouseReview • These 2 mice might be the 2 top mice on the market in my opinion ->Yeah, if you wanna dive deep into a Vaxee mouse the np01s ergo might be nice for you.. then you will make an easy transition with very similar if not better build quality. Will easily last you another 6 years
r/MouseReview • After almost 6 years, its time for new gear ->They have really good customer service as well., I pre ordered an npo1s wireless and it has known creaking issue.. they let me hold onto until the outset ax wireless released then I sent it back to them no charge in exchange for the outset
r/MouseReview • After almost 6 years, its time for new gear ->I ended up getting the NP01s ergo cause I saw it was in-stock, and I just couldn't stop thinking about it while using my thorn. I literally got it in this day of writing, but I put my hand on it and man it fit like a glove. Works perfectly for a relaxed claw grip. Size wise, the only difference that I could feel off the rip (not counting the obvious stuff like buttons and scroll wheel) was that it is shorter than the Thorn (from bottom to hump height). Most noticeably is that there's not as much free thumbspace as compared to thorn, but I'm not dragging on the mousepad or touching the side buttons much so its not that noticeable. If you have longer hands than I do (7 x 4-ish in. / 17.78 x 10 cm - I only have an imperial measuring tape) you might have to curl your fingers more into a regular claw. But it really does just fill in the back of your palm comfortably Will also add that in I \*think\* the VGN Y2 is a highly similar shape for like half the price/more if its on sale. I didn't go for it cause I'd been eyeing the Vaxee since August, but its something to keep in mind
r/MouseReview • These 2 mice might be the 2 top mice on the market in my opinion ->This is a less safe shape, but the NP-01s Ergo feels great for a relaxed claw grip/palm hybrid (at least for me it does). I’ve used a viper V2 pro and regular ergos before and the forward huno always forced a more regular clawed grip when I want to get a good grip on the mouse The hump is at the back so it fills into your hand nicely. It is a bit pricey though. The VGN Y2 looks like a cloned shape but I haven’t tried it
