Corsair scimitar is cheaper than naga and better imo.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->it has a known double clicking problem, or did, maybe they fixed it. I went through 2 of them
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Scimitar 4th year no problems. But Razer Naga is solid.
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Looking for a new mouse. Only play wowand only do Arena. I can get by with a minimum of 3 side buttons. Not interested in The Logitech MMO mouse I use that for a day and couldn't stand it. I ran the first Corsair scimitar for a while and I wasn't a huge fan but it wasn't horrible so the new wireless version is something that I'm looking at. Naga pro V2 is not something I'm interested in. I have a naga pro right now and I'm not a fan of the software. So my requirements are good software a minimum of three side buttons. Wireless and wired. And something on the bigger side that'll fit my hand. Not really concerned about cost not even really concerned if the mouse needs anything changed bonus points if there's any STLs out there for the mouse that I could print a different shell for that would give me the fit that I want.
r/MouseReview • Recommend me a mouse ->The Corsair Scimitar adresses this partially by having a good texture on the keys so you know which one you're holding and not to slip off. However, a lot of these older mice have bad non flex cable and no mouse feet.
r/MouseReview • Which MMO mouse these days? Software being a factor. ->The only gripe i have with this mouse is the weak mouse wheel axle. If you use middle mouse while scrolling a lot, the axle will fatigue and shear itself off.
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->It's a good mouse. Must have for mmos. I had to buy another one because my left click wasn't pushing anymore due to this issue after 4 years of intense use : https://youtu.be/YEVMh0d2cqA?t=211&si=Pw0etLTzjTlAKFW9 It was fixable but not as good as before.
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->Naga is better for small hands. The Scimitar is pretty bulky. Otherwise, I agree.
r/MMORPG • MMO mouse: G502 Lightspeed might be dying... Any recommendations? ->So my mouse (Razer Naga X) is dying after about 3-4 years of using it. I intended to buy it again, but to my surprise, it's not being sold anymore. I really like MMO mice and I actively use at least 6-8 of the side buttons. As far as I know, the only worthwhile models on the market are: 1. Corsair Scimitar (had it twice, both times broke in under 6 months, don't want to ever buy it again) 2. Steelseries Aerox (looks quite cheap, small and a bother to clean, not a big fan of these super light ones) 3. Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed (only wireless without the possibility of using a cable, which I hate) Are there any other options that are still sold today? I am desperate.
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Buying my corsair scimitar was the best purchase i have ever made for my pc it has 12 fully programmable and macro able buttons right on your thumb and really makes rotation a breeze and most of the time lets me play one handed. Also if it matters i play a prot pally
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->after using a mouse with the 12 button keypad on the side, i can’t go back. it’s so useful. as for which one, in my experience it seems like the razer naga v2 pro lasts longer without starting to malfunction or have issues than the corsair scimitar mouses
r/buildapc • What are one of the best general purpose (mainly gaming) mouses? ->Works fine tbh, it's just a pain in the sphincter to get set up. Once you get it setup, you're pretty much good. Back up your profiles, though. Asap.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Don't let anyone talk you into a PoS Naga, or any Razer product. If you really want a button grid, get the corsair scimitar Personally, I use a G903, which is what I would recommend. Being able to rebind every button on the mouse gives endless possibilities. Sidescrolling in particular is a very convenient set of buttons to rebind.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->i really love my corsair scimitar but i have a huge problem with iCue due to the fact that it wont auto-start and then my mouse wont switch programs when I start specific games :/ Really love the mouse but hate the program xD A reason why i'd like to switch...
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->There's not that many that exist, your options for ones you can reasonably find are: * Razer naga * Corsair scimitar * Steelseries aerox 9 * Red dragon m908 All of these are mediocre mice with large QC issues and whether or not you get one that lasts 5 months or 5 years is complete RNG. You're going to have a bunch of people pop up and say things like "I've used the X for Y years and its the best!" and its some bullshit, they won the lottery that their mouse didn't arrive defective or shit the bed after some short amount of time. There used to be the logitech g600 which was both cheaper than 3 of those 4 mice while also being just as good if not better quality... not by much though... but they discontinued it. You can find them used but they're mostly overpriced and yknow.. used mice are pretty gross. They all have minor differences, pick whichever one suits you at whatever price point you're ok with paying every year or two and pull the trigger. The razer and steelseries are the most overpriced, the scimitar isn't as bad price wise, the red dragon can be bought right now on sale for 22$ and is normally like 32$. Red dragons a budget brand though so don't expect the world.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->There currently isn't an mmo mouse on the market that lasts without getting lucky. I've had them all, they all have QC issues. There's a few common issues that pop up with the scimitar, mine ultimately failed because of the common issue that happens due to the plastic they use for the top housing being softer than the switches they use on the left / right click so as you continue to use it eventually the switch indents the plastic and it stops actuating. I'm actually so tired of dealing with the mmo mice that exist that I was considering doing something out of left field and buying an azeron cyro... but best I can tell that also has QC issues while being over 200 smacks so... My kingdom for a single quality mmo mouse.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->What? I've gone through 3 already because their shitty scroll wheel keeps destorying itself
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Corsair scimitar has been my go to for like 8 years now
r/classicwow • Best mouse for classic wow? ->Corsair scimitar here aswell no issues on year 4
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->5 years with the scimitar until the right click started to fail, now 2 years with the 2nd one and im still in love with this mouse
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->I tried 3 different Naga models, Corsair scimitar and a turtlebeach I don't recall name of. Right now I'm using Genesis/Natec Xenon 770, because of how cheap it is. I prefer the naga Trinity shape, but it's too expensive for the shirt life duration. So my current mouse solved that problem.
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->I had a Razer Naga Pro that lasted me for YEARS, like YEARS AND YEARS. I couldn't believe when it finally needed to go, I had thought the thing invincible. Sadly, in the years of me using that legendary mouse, Razer product quality tanked HARD. I can't get that kinda durability out of their products anymore. Swapped to Corsair scimmy and it's now just as good as the Naga, lasting for quite a while so far. I think I'm on… year 8 ish? Maybe only 6? I dunno, but I haven't felt the need to replace it at all. Only issue I've had so far was the scroll when dying and, it turns it, all that's needed to fix that is grease, as it means the old lubricant failed. I'd recommend giving the grease fix a try, because I fixed that problem exactly once a couple of years in, and since I did that, I've never had the problem again. Wasn't even hard, just apply grease to the mouse wheel and spin the wheel. Repeat a couple of times as you use it until the issue completely goes away. I forget exactly what grease I used because it was so long ago that I actually had to repair it, but I remember there being a particular type that was recommended, but it was a super common grease. I wanna say it was vasoline
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse Recommendation ->Corsair SCIMITAR user here as well. 2 going on 3 years with no issues whatsoever, which is crazy to me because I use the side buttons for the bulk of my rotation so I've smashed those buttons probably tens of thousands of times if not more. The thing is a tank.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I definitely can't recommend from my personal experience. The mousewheel broke on me after months. And the iCue software is a mess. Mutiple times it broke completely and I could only fix it by doing a complete reinstall. While that seems fixed, now it just refuses to launch on startup. That being said, I've never found a mouse that made me happy for more than 1-2 years.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Switched to the scimitar away from the naga for the same reason as you, and also thought it felt wierd at the start. But (at least for me) its only at the beginning, prefer the feel of the scimitar now over the naga by a lot.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->K70 pro is pretty good. My mouse is the scimitar elite it’s fine not the best but solid.
r/Corsair • Best Corsair Gaming Keyboard and Mouse? ->Corsair Scimitar fan checking in here
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->We try not to talk about the software
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I second the scimitar, wondering what broke on it for OP, because I did have an issue where the scroll wheel would skip a lot which made playing some games hard where scrolling is required, happened about a year after I bought it on two different mice. It took some work (and pretty sure it voids warranty) but taking the mouse apart to clean the sensor for the wheel on the inside and lube it up fixed the issue for me and it worked perfectly again.
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Of all the available mmo mice from popular brands, the scimitar has held together the longest for me. And it's not even close. Going on two years with my wireless and the only issue has been the mousewheel.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Althought each person has his/her own experience with different mouses, for me the Scimitar has always been the best MMO mouse hands down and i have tried many during the years. When will we see an upgraded version with the similar design language?? 🤔
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->they probably just arent as marketable as lightweight fps mice. unfortunate but its the reality. the most recent bigger name brand to release one was steel series with the aerox 9 (there is a wow edition out right now) but its kind of known for being shitty. i like my corsair scimitar for wow. you can find them easily for 100 or less on amazon depending on if you want wireless or wired
r/MouseReview • Where have all the MMO-styled Mice Gone? ->corsair scimitar elite. similar design like the razer naga but you don't have to text support within the first months of owning it :) (i have a personal vendetta against razer, i had a full peripheral set from them, mouse, keyboard, headset and they ALL broke within a year)
r/MMORPG • Gaming Mouse recommendations for MMOs? ->Agreed. Went from RAZR Nagas (3 total over years) Corsair Scimitar. Have been happy since.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->I'm on the Corsair scimitar. I have big hands, and needed something that didn't feel cramped for my thumb
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Corsair scimitar is by far the best. I've tried most of them and this is the one I've kept.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I bought the corsair last year, I think the scimitar. It's been great. I like that I can adjust the buttons to be within easy reach of my thumb because the razer mice are way too cramped
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Corsair schimitar or if you have hands on the bigger side aerox 9 from steel series
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->I’m blaming my Corsair scimitar for my bad aim then lol. It isn’t true but that bulky thing probably isn’t helping.
r/VALORANT • Best mouse for Valorant ->Same play style, brother! Except it wasn't a stroke for me. Pretty similar mapping as I use, but I traded abilities for more movement (in FPS games). I crouch with 7, reload with 6 and jump with 8. I play with MMO mouses since the first Naga came out and now im at my 17th MMO style mouse, the Naga Pro v2. Have/had them all, EVERY Naga, G600, Corsair Scimitar, Steelseries, noname Utechsmart things from Amazon... You will wear them out pretty good, but it's worth it! It's a learning curve, and you get better every day, I played competitive Counter-Strike one-handed, so we can do everything! Good luck and much success! If I can help you with something, ask away.
r/pcmasterrace • How I Returned to PC Gaming with One Hand After My Stroke ->Do you have the scimitar? I tried binding mine to the function keys but it didn't work.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->Yeah I was playing around with it (I got the scimitar) and slid it forward and backwards and no matter where it landed the back two rows felt kind of weird. I might just try using the front 6 like you have
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->I’ve used and loved the naga’s, Logitech, currently on the Corsair scimitar. They have all worn down on me and had to be replaced after 2-3 years. The one I’ll probably never get again is a Logitech though. I’m at about 2 years on the scimitar and have not had an issue yet
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I'm using a Scimitar Elite now... and I really want a better alternative. Every Scimitar I've had has developed some kind of issue within 6 months to a year--and that's on top of the annoying software.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->I bought one of the wired ones back in like 2015 or so and it was great. I tried buying the wireless version earlier this year and it had ghosting issues where it wouldn't register multiple keypresses at the same time. I'd previously used the small button to the left of the left mouse button as a shift mod key but on the newer version of the mouse this wasn't possible. I'm not sure if this is an issue all of the newer ones have or just an issue with the wireless one though.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->I really wish the Scimitar was better. The software is terrible and the scroll wheel always starts misbehaving within a few months. I've owned the wired version and I'm currently using the wireless one but both have had the same issues.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->I have had the wired Corsair scimitar for what feels like 8 years now and it still works totally fine and I've never had to replace it. Their software kind of sucks sometimes so that's the only issue since you need it to program the mouse and use the numpad. Sometimes when the software launches when my computer boots up it just won't register that the mouse is plugged in (same goes for the keyboard I have). So then I have to replug them. but I have those things accessible on my desk, you might not. But in terms of performance it's solid. It's nice that the thumb pad is adjustable too. The numbers on the buttons have kind of worn off over time but doesn't really matter. The textured part of the mouse is also a little hard to clean because it has all these little bumps that you have to clean around (I just use an alcohol wipe and that does a really good job pretty easily). Lol just realized I listed 3 cons but they are all really minimal compared to the fact that the mouse hasn't had any performance issues at all in 8 years.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->You can buy a corsair mouse that is on the list of supported devices of this [https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next/wiki/Supported-Hardware](https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next/wiki/Supported-Hardware) and you should be able to customize it and everything else. I personally use this with a Corsair Scimitar and have had no problems.
r/linux_gaming • Please recommend: Linux gaming mouse ->If you go with a razer keep the box cause you will need to rma it around the 2 year mark. How do I know this. I have had 3 Naga's from the first to the epic. All died within 2 years. All suffering from switches broken or scroll wheel issues. Went to the scimitar 4 years ago and it still works. Razer's build quality is bad.
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse Recommendation ->I primarily used a Logitech G502. I recently upgraded it to the G502X, which had some really elegant improvements. I use it as both my gaming and work mouse. I hear a lot of folks talking about the Scimitar, so I bought it to try it out. A few things I noticed about the Scimitar, when comparing it to the G502X: * The Scimitar is heavy. This comes down to user preference, but I personally prefer lighter mice. * It does not glide as well as the G502X. I'm not sure if the pads on the Scimitar are just poor quality, or if its the weight of the mouse, but there is noticeable resistance compared to the G502X. * The scroll wheel on the Scimitar is too shallow -- I feel it should rise up above the buttons a bit more. Also, there is no left/right click on the Scimitar's scroll wheel. These work as amazing keybinds on the G502X. * The Scimitar has no quick/infinite scroll functionality. In comparison, the G502X has a little button you quickly toggle which locks/unlocks the scroll wheel, allowing your to freely/rapidly scroll. This is a massive time save when scrolling long websites, documents, etc. * The bottom row of buttons on the Scimitar, notably buttons 1 and 4, are way too close to the base of the mouse. There is only a few millimeters of space between the base of the mouse, meaning your finger is almost always dragging on your mouse pad. It feels uncomfortable hitting them. I like that the button pad can move forwards and backwards, but it needs to be higher up. * The finger rest on the Scimitar is on the right side, and acts as a rest for your ring finger. I feel this is a useless finger rest. By comparison, the G502X features a thumb rest which feels so much better. Ultimately, I think the G502X is a better mouse all around. It functions as a better productivity mouse, as the side buttons make for easy back/forth navigation, and the infinite scroll wheel makes short work of long documents. Its also fantastic outside of MMO's, especially FPS games because of its trigger button, which slows your DPS while you hold it. This is amazing for achieving better accuracy while sniping and such. For MMO's the G502X has 8 programmable keybinds (3 side buttons, 2 index finger buttons, 3 scroll wheel clicks). In my opinion, these feel so much more natural compared to the Scimitar square number pad, and when you combine that with modifiers like Shift, you now very easy and comfortable access to 16 keybinds, all on your mouse. Plus, while it ultimately isn't that important, its also worth mentioning that the Logitech software is significantly nicer and easier to use compared to Corsair's. If I may be so bold, I would argue that the G502X is the worlds best mouse, hands down.
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->G600 is great but impossible to find, I also have a Corsair scimitar wireless for my laptop and it’s real good.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I'll add to this. I've had 2 Naga's (Molten and Epic Chroma) and the original Scimitar. All of them failed (except maybe the molten which I gave away. I got a G600 and the thing is just a tank. It may not be wireless like I wish it was, but it hasn't failed me
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse Recommendation ->Still using my Corsair Scimitar MOBA mouse, and i recommend it to everyone. Its a cheap optipn with three rows of thumb buttons. The buttons greatly improve workflow, since i have my most common commands on there (SD, extrude, extruded cut, measure, knit surface etc)
r/SolidWorks • Best mouse for CAD in 2025? ->Corsair scimitar. Cheap mouse w programmable side buttons for F keys, attack champions only toggle, or whatever else you need.
r/ADCMains • What are your mouse recommendations for adc main? ->I'm currently almost a year into my scimitar without issues. However my old darkcore definitely had it after a few months. If I scrolled down it would shoot up a little and got worse over time. If this thing bites the dust I'll look elsewhere. I dislike razer products more.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I’ve been using Razer Nagas since ~2012 (gone through three of them now, I think), but next time I need a new one, I’ll probably go for the Corsair Scimitar. The side panel’s a little nicer compared to the Naga (adjustable position, and the 2nd and 4th rows of buttons are textured, so it’s a little easier to tell which are which).
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I've had my Corsair Scimitar for years and it's still serving me well.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I use Corsair Scimitar, feels comfortable and is easy to open up if you need to do any maintenance. It has 12 macro buttons which are all individually programmable through the software. Gives me a ton of utility and versatility in not only MMOs but other games as well. I use it for Helldivers stratagems and pings/ push to talk in most games etc. Very handy. Only downside about it for me is that it has no removable weights and is on the heavier side, so it doesn’t perform as well when playing shooters, but that’s a small issue for me. People like to complain about mice breaking on them but quite frankly no mouse is expected to last for 10 years while using it every day for 4 hours a day. I’m being facetious obviously but regardless, basically any mouse is going to be prone to potential issues. Find one that has the features you value and is comfortable to use, use it till it breaks. Unless you’re buying a ridiculously overpriced mouse, it’ll cost you around 100-150$ and last for a good 5 years at least. That’s nothing over that length of time.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->As an upper limb amputee. I have a Corsair MMO mouse as well, but my best accessibility peripheral is my Azeron Cryo. It's a mouse with an analog thumb stick and a 16 button keypad. It is fantastic
r/pcmasterrace • How I Returned to PC Gaming with One Hand After My Stroke ->I jumped from naga to scimitar years ago, zero regrets.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->I got one, I Like how it feels in my Hand but my Mouse Wheel is brocken. You got any detailed Guide how to fix it?
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Personal preference is razer naga series but I’ve also use the corsair scimitar I like both
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Big fan of my Corsair scimitar
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->My only complaint is I wish the side buttons textures were a bit more distinct or were angled slightly more, but I got used to it pretty quickly
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Yeah it’s definitely chunky, which is perfect for me personally but if you have smaller hands it might not be great. Coming from a Razer basilisk it took some getting used to.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Steelseries Aerox 9. 12 side buttons, and unlike basically every other mouse made for MMO games, it does not feel like a brick weight wise, so if you have long gaming sessions, your wrist will thank you. It's like 89g compared to the Logitech G600, which is a common recommendation that is 133g. Or the Razer Naga that is 122g and Corsair Scimitar, which is also about 122g. I've used all of them and the weight savings on the Aerox helped me no longer get any kind of wrist discomfort after days of longer gaming sessions.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Funny because for me my scimitar is essentially 4-12 and 1-3 are never used since I can easily get them with my wsad fingers
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->Ultimately it comes down to preference. I personally like the Razer Naga, the way it feels in my hand feels natural and I’m used to it. I tried the Corsair Scimitar for an expansion and while it was good it was just too heavy a mouse for me. I’ve heard good things about the Logitech mmo mouse but I have not used it so can’t talk on that one. Everyone is different and you’ll have to find what works for you.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Corsair scimitar has just as many side buttons. A slider to adjust for hand size. Way more durable. Onky downside is having to use iCue
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->corsair scimitar is imo the best mmo mouse and playing wow without mmo mouse is like intentionally handicapping yourself.
r/classicwow • Best mouse for classic wow? ->I can't for the life of me find one so im stuck using the corsair scimitar. It's at least similar in build but has some issues
r/classicwow • Best mouse for classic wow? ->I've owned both the Razer Naga and the Corsair Scimitar, both of which I can recommend wholeheartedly. If you own a keyboard from either brand , it's a no-brainer since you link your lights and shit. They're great purchases that'll change your game. With that said, if you can, go to your local PC store and try them out. The feel is different and you might find that some other brand suits you better. Just make sure you've got a good amount of accessible side buttons.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->i’ve been using MMO mice for shooters for years now, the one i have at the moment is the corsair scimitar but the razer naga is good too
r/MouseReview • Looking for a mouse to use playing Fortnite ->i’m thinking of replacing my scimitar tbh which naga is it? and is it pretty light?
r/MouseReview • Looking for a mouse to use playing Fortnite ->I've had the best experience with the Naga v2 pro. The driver/software could be better, but I was even more dissatisfied with the software that went with my corsair stuff when I was using a scimitar. The biggest complaint I had with older Naga models was wearing out the left or right switches, which have been updated with optical switches in the new model.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I tried pretty much all of them: 1. Don't buy razer, their quality is not what it used to be 2. Logitech hasn't released an MMO mouse in like a decade now. 3. The Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless is the best on the market. The non-elite is much cheaper but wired. 4. On a low budget look into Reddragon M908/M913.
r/ffxiv • MMO Mouse Recommendations in 2024? ->I have had 4 or 5 Razer Naga's at this point. Trinity's, Pro's, the works. Great mouse but the quality has gone downhill over the years. Scroll wheel becomes annoyingly loose. Specific side buttons regularly stop working. After all those Naga's I decided to give the Corsair Scimitar a go. On paper it's great. Adjustable side buttons positioning, good design, good quality scroll wheel. However since getting it I have had issues with the mouse registering movement on my mousepad. It's not an issue I have ever had with a mouse before. Opening the iCUE software fixes it in most cases, but it's pretty annoying to have to have software open for a mouse to work. I have heard good things about the Red Dragon MMO mouse, though I don't tend to buy the more "budget" electronics so your mileage may vary.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Started with a Razer, then had a G600, and now using a Corsair Scimitar Elite. I would say out of all 3 the Scimitar is the most comfortable one for me. I like how the side buttons are movable so you can set them where it is the most comfortable for your thumb. G600 is great though itself, moved that over to my work desk.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Aerox 9 I refunded The buttons were way too stiff to press. Bought another scimitar instead
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->While you might have had good luck with this mouse I’ve went through 3 and a friend multiple as well. Scimitar is very known for mouse wheel breaking super easy. I’m looking for an alternative myself that still has 12 mouse buttons.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->I had 2 wired Scimitars, and now I have a wireless one. Honestly, I can't for life use another mouse. The shape and the side panel are perfect for my hand. I don't even play mmo but FPS and strategy games but those side keys are game changer when it comes to comfort when using milion key binds on keyboard. Edit. The only thing that sucks are scrolls. They tend to break easily
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->I had 2 wired Scimitars, and now I have a wireless one. Honestly, I can't for life use another mouse. The shape and the side panel are perfect for my hand. I don't even play mmo but FPS and strategy games but those side keys are game changer when it comes to comfort when using milion key binds on keyboard. Edit. The only thing that sucks are scrolls. They tend to break easily
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->Razer Naga is the best. I've used like 10 different MMO mice and the Razer Naga is just the best one. Brands MMO mouse I have used had terrible software problems. Although the Naga isn't totally perfect either. But its the best imo. Edit: Logitech G600 was trash. Kept having weird mouse issues where the mouse would bounce around. Happened with 2 different ones years apart. Honestly the worst MMO mouse I used. Also the ergonomics on it were the worst as well. Razer Naga Molten was good but the mouse button wore out within 6 months and I needed to open it up and hot glue the clicker to keep it working. Roccat Nyth was good and probably the longest lasting mouse I had. It started falling apart the mouse of any mouse I owned and was by far the most fragile feeling. Contradictory but thats how it was. Corsairs MMO mouse sucked ass. Kept having weird software problems. Razer Naga X wired so far is the best MMO mouse I've used. Had it 2 years now about and the biggest problem I have had was this weird problem where scrolling up/down would bounce around weirdly. But blowing air into it would fix it. It hasn't had that problem for a really long time though now. I've used more but I cant remember them off the top of my head. I used to have a literal pile of them in a box somewhere but I threw it away a few months ago. TL;DR though the MMO mouse scene is a bunch of garbage but the Razer Naga X is the least Garbage one I have used.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I also found it to be chunky, but its such a nice mouse. Kinda let down by the size lol.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->I have 6 scimitars and they are all shit compared to my one naga :/
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Currently naga V2 hyperspeed, i do use a lot of map grip too. I really like it, good shape, extra easy to change battery, if you get a small 2 slot battery charger and 2 rechargable batteries you are, virtually, always ready. It has 2.4 receiver or bluetooth. 12 buttons on the side that are default mapped as: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 - = I have no complain, aside that i would have liked it to have "mouse button1" instead of a button that already exist on the keyboard. Please avoid the Corsair Scimitar normal or Elite, they have a know flaw related to the scroll wheel, it brakes so easily ending up clicking but not rolling. I have 3 of them in my electronic graveyard drawer.
r/DotA2 • What gaming mouse do you currently use? ->Currently naga V2 hyperspeed, i do use a lot of map grip too. r/DotA2 • What gaming mouse do you currently use? ->I've used the same corsair scimitar for 6 years, wouldnt want to game without it. Still going strong too. Also corsair software (icue) is so good that i dont even want to try other brands.
r/MMORPG • Alternative MMO gaming mouse? ->Mine has lasted 6 years, just had to oull it apart to get some cat hair out but otherwise has been bullet proof
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->I am using the [Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/explorer/gamer/mice/corsair-scimitar-elite-wireless-everything-you-need-to-know/). I kind of picked it up on a whim but I like it. The iCue software is another matter entirely though. I use that mouse at home. When I travel for work and take a laptop with me, I bring my Logitech G602 with me from my office.
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->I redid my bindings last weekend and then iCue decided to completely disable my 12 side buttons. Took nearly an hour to unfuck that. Love the mouse, hate the software.
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->My scimitar would randomly "unplug/replug" itself (Windows USB sound would play) and then it would forget all custom keybinds until I rebooted...often in the middle of a key. I chucked it out the window after a year of pain
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->agree with this! The great thing about this mouse is the side button panel is adjustable for different size hands.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->yeah you can move the panel forward or back. I have mine all the way back or I would never be able to reach buttons 1-3 otherwise.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Corsair Scimitar is great but do not install ICUE. The software is utter garbage and the mouse still works with it.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I've used the scimitar, the g600, an original naga, and now on a v2 naga pro. I would say my favourite is EASILY the v2 Naga Pro, but it's extremely expensive. I love being able to change the side panel as I hated playing shooters with the MMO side, so it feels more versatile. The sensor is also far superior to the others from what I notice, it seems to track very well. The others aren't bad though. I'd probably rank the Scimitar as my favourite for pure comfortability and ease of pressing the right buttons for strict WoW use.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->This 100%. The Naga feels like it'll break in my hand, and my tiny gamer wife literally broke one by accident after a particularly frustrating wipe. We both use Corsair scimitars now, recommend them to friends, and have never had to buy replacements. The iCue software it requires is the worst thing installed on my computer, an aberrant resource hog that barely functions. It's worth it for a reliable mouse that feels good in my hand, though.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->I have a Corsair with 12 on the side. I like it better than the Naga.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Currently I own Scimitar and Roccat Nyth, which are my two favourites. G600 was also really good.
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse Recommendation ->Corsair scimitar for the button quantity and placement, plus adjustable. Love that mouse.
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->There’s a fix for that. Just have to lubricate the scroll wheel. YouTube or google have the answers. Brought two of my scimitars back from the junk drawer.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Naga v2 hyper speed works great for me. Super comfy. Came from a scimitar wired that would double click after a lot of usage. I tried going back to the scimitar when they had a wireless one but the comfortability for palm grip was terrible compared to the naga. Need more brands and models for MMO mice for sure but I’m really happy with my Naga v2 hyper speed
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Naga v2 hyper speed works great for me. Super comfy. Came from a scimitar wired that would double click after a lot of usage. r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I loved the g600 and had one for years but I forgot it at a hotel. I then tried Razer and oh they don’t like traveling (I do a lot of business travel): the first one failed after 2 months. Thought it was bad luck and bought another one as I really liked the buttons and the exact same thing happened. Got a third one…no luck. The wires went bad in no time. No more razer products for me. I had computer mouse since the 1990s and it’s the only ones that ever failed…and 3 times in a row. I finally got a Corsair Scimitar Elite. It’s reasonably priced and I now have it since 2 yrs and no issues so far. I also like that you can move the set of side buttons laterally to adjust to your hand.
r/ffxiv • Mouse recommendations ->If you want a 12-button side panel, you have quite a few options. I just went through quite a few and landed on a wireless Corsair Scimitar. Good hardware, but iCue kinda stinks.
Lots of options for 3-5 button side panels as well from Logi, Razer, Corsair,
I’ve used a naga, aerox 9, and schimitar. It’s a toss up between the naga and aerox for me. I think I like the ergonomics of the aerox a little better and I find the larger buttons easier to navigate. I didn’t like the schimitar and it broke within 6 months. I also thought the software was the most cumbersome. All of the MMO mice I’ve tried have terrible scroll wheel sensors that don’t last me more than a year or 2. Even the naga and aerox… thankfully I was able to get replacements for both under warranty.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->The G600 is the best, terrified on what I will do when it dies since they are no longer being made? I also Have a Corsair Scimitar, its good too, but its middle mouse button doesn't have the extra ability to push it left or right for two additional macros that the G600 has. Surprised how much I use that functionality.
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->I'm biased towards the Corsair Scimitar. I save so much time by using it's 12 buttons as common shortcuts and phrases while programming
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->Two of my Corsair scimitars have developed double clicking issues. My naga pro v1 and the hyper speed before it have had no issues (about a year a piece). Icue is also surprisingly even worse and crash prone than synapse was for me. Tl;Dr is that it's not that cut and dry, especially because there's like 4 total MMO mice in the market at this point.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I use an MMO mouse with everything and so far my favorite is the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless. I have no idea how people use a mouse without side buttons that make playing all kinds of games extremely more convenient.
r/buildapc • What’s the best mouse money can buy? ->Mine last about 4 months. The keyboard was even worse. Its in the trash. I still have the mouse but its just a backup and only then, I pray that it works if used lol. Never buying razer again. Was duped once, never again. Edit: I went back to using my old corsair MMO mouse that I have had for years and years. It has scroll wheel issues (just like every new mouse these days) but at least it WORKS. lol
r/MouseReview • Best Gaming Mouse for 2025? (Valorant, CS:GO) ->It’s definitely chunkier than a naga but it’s much more durable, imo. I just recently, about a month ago, had to replace my scimitar because of the right click not working after purchasing it back in 2017. I couldn’t go back to the naga because my hand had gotten used to the girth of the scimitar haha.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->It is a mouse that is usually bigger in size because.it has programmable buttons on the thumb area, like Razer Naga let's say or Redragon Aatrox etc or Corsair Scimitar
r/MouseReview • First Wireless Mouse (Review) ->Ive been using the same corsair vengeance k70 from 2013 all this time. It still works like new, no idea if they still sell it but the k70 line is still fine enough I hear. I would say grab a refurbished one because that's just a good deal. For a mouse I just use the Scimitar because it's useful for FF14 and certain actions in applications.
r/Corsair • Best Corsair Gaming Keyboard and Mouse? ->Does the mouse wheel tilt to scroll? I tried the Scimitar, but I missed that feature from my Naga
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->Best I've used is the G600. I was very sad when it broke as I couldn't buy a new one. I settled for the Corsair Scimitar. It's not bad. It just not as good.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->I’m using Corsair scimitar. It has known hardware issue with mouse wheel but 12 side buttons help a lot in mmo for me. I already had 5 mice. As soon as wheel stars breaking I refund it by guarantee and buy new
r/ffxiv • MMO Mouse Recommendations in 2024? ->I just went through mouse shopping myself and let me sum up what Ive tried and what I settled on: 1. Corsair scimitar - Tried it for a few days, ultimately I did not find it comfortable. The numbers on the side being able to slide was nice, but I have smallish hands and couldnt get my grip to feel good. I also found the numbers on the side to be too flush with each other, making it easy to misclick or click multiple buttons at once 2. Steelseries Aerox 9 - Splurged and tried the WoW anniversary edition. Got returned almost immediately, again found to be too large and uncomfortable. But it also just didnt work, the sensor on the mouse just didnt want to work on any surfaceI put it on (flat on desk, nor mousepad). Resulting in a lot of stutter. 3. Naga Pro v2 - This is what I most recently have bought and settled on. Very comfortable in my hand, has changeable sideplates so you can switch out how many buttons you want on the side. However, it is very expensive.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->tried it for a few days myself and it just never felt comfortable in my hand. I also found the side buttons to be too "flush" with each other
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->My old Scimitar mouse wheel was failing (a flaw they are sadly prone to over time) and my replacement arrived yesterday. Unplug old, plug in new, good to go.
r/Guildwars2 • What is the best gaming mouse to play GW2 smoothly? ->If you can get your hands on a new original Razer Naga they're the best, current generations went down in quality like crazy. My OG Naga lasted like 4-5 years while these new ones barely last 2 (1 if you can't deal with a faulty mouse wheel). Currently testing Corsair Scimitar Elite and it seems pretty solid but it all comes down to how long it'll last.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I literally own an unopened Corsair Scimitar (wired) as a backup because I'm paranoid it will one day go the way of the dodo like the Logitech G13 did. I've tried a lot of the MMO mouses (mice?), and the Scimitar has been my favorite by far because the side button position is adjustable and its form happens to fit my hand better than the others, which means no feelings of fatigue in my hand after a long gaming session. iCue definitely sucks though, you're right.
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->I have the scimitar elite and I can't recommend it. The software is the worst thing ever made by man, the buttons are in an very awkward position if you try to use anything past the first 2 columns and are very hard to clean if you don't have a cleaning kit for peripherals and after only a year, it started peeling on the left click. The hardware itself is great though, typical of corsair but I just can't see my self getting another one of these once this one breaks
r/MMORPG • MMO mouse: G502 Lightspeed might be dying... Any recommendations? ->If you move the numpad forward then the first buttons are hard to reach. If you move the numpad backward then the last buttons are hard to reach
r/MMORPG • MMO mouse: G502 Lightspeed might be dying... Any recommendations? ->I have a similar mouse from Corsair, and I can't give it up. The versatility of 12 buttons on your thumb is huge in every game.
r/pcmasterrace • How I Returned to PC Gaming with One Hand After My Stroke ->Same here! 5 years in and still no complaints.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I'm on my fourth G600. Have tried the Scimitar and Naga pro, and they just can't compare to the g600. I treat mine with so much care now that I know it'll be my last, and will probably hold a full on funeral and bury it when the side buttons stop working.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Have used both. Personally I like how hard the g600 side buttons are. The Scimiter buttons are defo easier or softer to press, but that means they give less tactile feedback that the key has actually been pressed.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Corsair mmo mouse. Tried the Logitech and Razer. Love the Corsair.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->My scroll wheel always broke on my scimitars. To the point where I'd need new ones like once a year. That partnered with the abysmal iCue just put me off of them. When it worked they're great though
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I bought a Scimitar in 2016. Bought a wireless one in 2023. Happy with them, no problem & no issues. Is this the mouse for you? Maybe, maybe not.
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Logitech G600 was the GOAT but it’s $200 pre owned now since it’s been discontinued. I use a Corsair Scimitar after mine broke and it’s just as good but I’ve heard issues with their lifespan
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->100% Basically any MMO mouse with 12 thumbs buttons will change the game for smooth rotations, but my Scimitar lasted far longer than my previous Razer ones.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->People hate on the Naga for whatever reason, but I love mine. I've used it pretty heavily for about 4 years without any issues. I bought a Corsair Scimitar as a backup and it also works really well. Both offer basically the same package; 12 side buttons and the normal mouse stuff. The Razor and Corsair software are pretty similar too. Only real difference is the Naga feels a little longer and more flat in the hand vs the scimitar being a bit more tall and round.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I didn't see any comments mentioning it, but I have to give a MAJOR recommendation for the SteelSeries Aerox 9. I bought mine in early 2022 and it has been my go to mouse for everything. Light, wireless, good battery, good side button layout (for my big hands at least), its easily my favorite MMO mouse (Have also had 2 G600s, a Scimitar, and a Naga) and probably my favorite mouse period.
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->Get Corsair Scimitar, you should be able to find it under 100$.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->I'm using the Corsair Scimitar, and it is really good, but honestly I kind of miss my old, much cheaper, reddragon mmo mouse. The Scimitar is much more adjustable for different hand sizes, though.
r/ffxiv • MMO Mouse Recommendations in 2024? ->Only those 2, personally. The Corsair Scimitar is more comfortable and precise overall, and the position of the side buttons can be moved, but the reddragon as a weight insert that you can adjust, and the side buttons are angled in a zigzag pattern which makes it way harder for your thumb to get lost in the heat of the moment.
r/ffxiv • MMO Mouse Recommendations in 2024? ->Lucky! Had two of these in 9 months, both scroll wheels have become faulty within less than 3 months...
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->Yes I went to Curry's in the UK, where they sell both of these and you can try them out. I could have RMA'd my Naga's in the past but didn't think to do so as I would have been without a mouse. The most recent warranty expired in February so I just missed it, I've been living with the issue for well over a year. I went through my Amazon order history and I tried a redragon and utech in the past and the side buttons didn't give enough feedback to be spammed, they were far too squishy, so I sent them back. The Scimitar buttons also didn't feel as good as the Naga, and it doesn't feel great in my hand. There are also lots of reports of the scroll wheel breaking too, and looking at one in person yesterday I don't think it would stand up to me either. The V2 HyperSpeed has a completely different scroll wheel design and I want to see if it lasts longer, it also uses a single AA battery that I can swap out for a rechargeable one, so I get a wireless mouse back finally too. I haven't tried a SteelSeries yet, but I really don't think the side buttons on a Naga can be beat. The feedback and spammability are amazing and they have never worn out. Having great side buttons is more important to me than a scroll wheel, as I use the side buttons in nearly every game I play. If it breaks again, I'll be RMA'ing immediately, but it already feels more robust than the other Naga models, here's hoping anyway.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->Top 3 MMO mice I've owned: * Corsair Scimitar * Logitech G600 (discontinued, but closest in shape is UtechSmart Venus and Redragon MMO series) * Razer Naga It comes down to comfort at the end of the day for those long MMO gaming sessions, so I would suggest going in-store and trying out the shapes. Both Scimitar and Naga have wireless variants. Scimitar's side buttons are mushier and have some movement, but this actually helps me lift the mouse without misclicking the side buttons. You can also move the side button panel on the Scimitar to match your hand size and comfort (its biggest selling point). Naga's side buttons feel the best - very snappy, but its shape causes me to misclick at times. If you want to play FPS games with your MMO mouse, I would buy the Scimitar as they release each iteration with the best sensor in the market for that given point in time. Naga's sensor is ok; my Naga Pro jitters when fast swiping/flicks. G600 has the oldest sensor (and is laser).
r/MMORPG • Gaming Mouse recommendations for MMOs? ->Been using Corsair Scimitar with the microswitch side buttons for years. Very happy with it. The iCue software is sometimes a bit of a pain though.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I had a razer Naga for about 4 years and it was good, razer software felt nice enough to use but the mouse itself was a little on the smaller side especially the buttons. I've had a Corsair scimitar for maybe 6 years now and I love it. Icue software can be great or shit depending on the update but on the whole it's good. Feels really nice to use and can't see myself changing to anything else anytime soon
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Same, I hear a lot of people complain about the scroll wheel. Never had that problem. My scimitar might even be older then 5 y. I'm not sure.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Another vote for the Scimitar. Adjustable, too. Software isn't super awesome happy sauce, though
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Ive had mine for about a year and like 60% of the buttons feel uncomfortable for my hand to reach, even with the adjustable slider. Also the main 2 mouse buttons started peeling. Don't wanna hate on it too much cause I know a lot of people love it, but it's definitely not perfect for everyone
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->The Scimitar has worked for me for years. Razer is the one that’s shit in my experience.
r/MMORPG • Decent MMO mouse? ->Because I have tiny girly hands and every mmo mouse is designed for gorilla hands using the palm grip and I like the claw grip on smaller mice. The very first wireless naga was my favorite. It let you swap grips. So I have swapped and tried maaany mmo mice trying to find a smaller mouse. My corsairs broke. The nagas were just as if not larger and I think their software got worse. I bought a red dragon that had like 18 buttons but the software for that was the worst out of the bunch.
r/ffxiv • MMO Mouse Recommendations in 2024? ->Right now in the US the Corsair Wireless MMO mouse is on sale for $49. Picked up 2. [https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/revival-series/ch-9314311-na-rv/scimitar-elite-wireless-mmo-gaming-mouse-revival-series-ch-9314311-na-rv](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/revival-series/ch-9314311-na-rv/scimitar-elite-wireless-mmo-gaming-mouse-revival-series-ch-9314311-na-rv)
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->Wireless Corsair Scimitar is the best, just above the wired version - having used a Naga and a G600 in the past. All of them are solid, though.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Ran this for 3 years until the left click broke. I honestly hardly used the side buttons, it was just the best feeling mouse in my hand
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->Both of mine has the same issue. Scroll wheel would jump in opposite directions. I pulled mine apart, and applied a pea-sized lump of Vaseline onto the blue wheel, which was to the left side of the scroll wheel. Scrolled back and forth to spread it on, and there’s no more issue.
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->Lg600 was my favorite but they don’t make em anymore. I like my Corsair scimitar but the software is performance heavy. Any razer I’ve had never lasted but I haven’t tried in a couple years
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I recently got one of those, and whilst it took some adjustment it's pretty good
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Having found out just here about it, I have now adjusted mine- though as I got my second hand, it didn't come with the allan key you normally use but fortunately I have a 31pc precision screwdriver set that comes with an allan key head that fits the bit on the bottom you use to lock or unlock the panel
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->i loved my corsair scimitar. i also loved my razer tartarus. they were both epic for mmo stuff
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->Only thing I wish Scimitar had, for me to switch from my G600, is the 3rd mouse botton at the right side of the right click.
r/Guildwars2 • What is the best gaming mouse to play GW2 smoothly? ->I had 6 of those break in the *exact* same way and their team didn't care. I showed and explained the fault to them, as at the time I had a direct line to their company through some side work. I got free replacements under EU law but they can keep it now.
r/ffxiv • Mouse recommendations ->I’m a big fan of steelseries and the aerox 9 is great. I’ve had a corsair scimitar in the past and can definitely recommend that as well. The main thing I like about steelseries is that they are really light weight which helps feel more comfortable.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->If you mean the “1,2,3” buttons at the front then yeah I never use those but the other 9 are pretty comfortable. I never used all 12 on the corsair either. I actually like the layout on the Aerox where it has a kind of curve to the buttons so each one feels distinct instead of them all the same size and shape. The main downside is the right side of the mouse where my ring and pinky finger go is a smooth plastic with no grip at all. But I bought some grip stickers on Amazon for a few bucks and it’s fine now. I get wanting to uninstall synapse. I like the steelseries software so much I have their keyboard and headset as well.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->Ooh yeah not worth it for that price. The corsair wired option should be fairly cheap.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->I second this. I had 2 Razer naga stop working within a year each. I tried the scimitar for a similar button layout and it has been great. It's more reliable and feels better. The ICue software was weird at first but I'm used to it now and like the flexibility
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->had a corsair scimitar elite, which developed a scroll fault where it was randomly scrolling uncontrollably after 2 years use, cleaned it all out internally and it still persisted after stopping it for a short while, switched to a second hand Naga then from CeX in the UK and it worked a lot better for longer for me, though your mileage may vary :) I preferred the Naga to the scimitar
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->I have used the Corsair scimitar and the new SteelSeries one. While the Corsair was great, the scroll wheel died after 11 months. The SteelSeries so far has been great, just wish the side buttons were clicky like the corsair was.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->This one is great when it works or lucky. I loved it soooo much because it was comfy so I kept giving it chances. Buuuut I've burned through 3 of them though over a few years (averaged about 1.5 - 2 years each), all scroll wheel issues. I'm a heavy user but not an abusive user... just normal gameplay. The symptom was always the same: scroll wheel started skipping, eventually stops scrolling completely. Corsair support kinda sucked. One was registered online with warranty etc. but because I didn't have the original box they wouldn't honor an RMA, so I attempted repair but no luck. Currently on year 2 of a wireless razer naga, so far so good. Don't really care for razer products but it's working. Logitech G600 was flawless as well. I have a new one as a backup in case my naga dies. Just wish these had a wireless version.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->I play MMOs instead of MOBAs, but I imagine the gaming mice are pretty similar? Just loads of sidebuttons, mappable and macros,, right. Corsair Scimitar Elite is the best one I've tried so far. You can do everything with a program called ckb-next - the RGB, the custom mapping, macros, polling rate etc. On Windows it's Corsair iCUE, but ckb-next is IMO better. Less clutter, less bloat, less buggy, snappier, does everything you want it to.
r/linux_gaming • Gaming mouse for Linux ->Personally I use the 12 button one from Corsair. With wow I highly recommend a 12 button mouse regardless of company.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Corsair Scimitar. Great mouse. The iCue menu is the only downside, but once you set it up, you'll never have to touch it again.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Yeah, well, unlike the G600, the Scimitar is still being manufactured, so....
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->I miss my Corsair Scimitar, but I owned two in four years, both dying two years apart. My current no-brand mouse is getting extremely buggy (like, I have to reboot my PC to get it to properly activate about once a week) so I may just bite the bullet and buy a Naga Pro - that, or another Corsair Scimitar with an extended warranty. But after reading this thread, I want to give the Naga a chance.
r/MMORPG • What’s the best mmo mouse ->I did a bit of mouse experimenting around when I first started and ended up sticking with the Naga. The Naga along with Synapse has the easiest configuration with the best feeling mouse in my opinion. I wasn't able to remap keys on my mouse to Shift+1 thru Shift+= like I could on the Naga than when I tried out the G600 and Scimitar. I also appreciate the click sensitivity and the modular scroll wheel. The G600 has that 3rd click button, that I just couldn't get used to. The side buttons are kinda mushy and require more pressure to push in. It became an issue trying to press side buttons and not accidentally pressing that 3rd mouse click. The software is utter garbage. The Scimitar has the ability to slide the side buttons up and down to your feel, while have an extremely good design. Even better than the Naga. However, the left and right click are extremely sensitive. The software isn't the best, and due to not being able to map the side buttons the way I wanted to without issues, the mouse that would have been my choice got 2nd place to the Naga. Overall, I recommend the Naga, then the Scimitar. And this is also coming from someone who wanted to do away with all of their razer products.
r/ffxiv • Mouse recommendations ->WHAT I’ve been using this mouse for at least 6 years (just got my second one because the first was getting worn) and NEVER knew this! Will inspect upon returning home
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->K70 Pro tkl and scrimitar is what I have.
r/Corsair • Best Corsair Gaming Keyboard and Mouse? ->Been my mouse of choice for a long time too. Worth it to say they sometimes have issues with their software though.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Razor products are super cheaply made and break all the time. I went through 3 Nagas before I switched to the Corsair Symitar and its lasted me 4 times as long as any of the Nagas I had
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->It's honestly worth spending a bit more on it. You will save money in the long run by not having to replace it as often.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I bought a Corsair Scimitar and... I really hate it. I feel like I'm not as accurate clicking small smushed together buttons with my thumb and I never noticed how much I pick up my mouse which results in my thumb using consumables or popping cooldowns. I really wanna try out a Razr mouse with the "moba" configuration (6 buttons instead of 12), but I think I'm just gonna go back to a regular ass mouse.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->a lot of folks out here saying the more buttons the better, but I'm on your side. I tried the g600 and the scimitar and neither were for me. I ended up going with an LTC MKM051, which is just a reskin of some cheap Chinese mouse and I love it. it's a little cheap feeling but I've been looking for copies of it to buy up in case mine breaks because its the exact layout i wanted. I want a mouse with 5 or 6 buttons on the side that are all easy to distinguish when pressing and has a spot to put my thumb that isn't on a button
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->I used the Naga for years, but they broke so damn fast and the price tag was a bit much for me. So I switched to the Logitech G600 and while it worked great, it had so many issues not remembering its settings. So I would have to open the software to sync it back up. Very annoying. Now I’m using the Corsair and I love it. I haven’t had to install any stupid software. It worked straight out of the box. So far no complaints! I just miss the 3rd button that the Logitech had :(
r/MMORPG • Gaming Mouse recommendations for MMOs? ->Corsair scimitar. I’ve tried half a dozen and that’s the best IMO.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->So you’ve had issues with razer and just bought another one? Seems great. Anywho Corsair scimitar is really good.
r/MMORPG • Comparable MMO mouse to a Razer Naga but with a scroll wheel that doesn't break after 6 months? ->i've been using a utech venus (though it appears to be redbranded to utech red dragon) mmo mouse for 6 years and it's legit the best mouse I've owned, I've a logitech g600, cable went in 2 years, a corsair sabre, right click died in 6 months, razer naga, middle mouse started playing up before the cable went. Yet, this cheap, shitty (build quality) wise, mmo mouse has survived 3+ years now? The side buttons are ridged nicely, the settings and left click button are useful My main critique is the achaic software it uses , looking straight out of 2004 but other than that, for 30 quid, worth a shot
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->I really like my Scimitar. I've had it for like 7-8 years and it's still going strong. The side buttons are super helpful for keybinds and macros and whatnot and make things so much more convenient for gaming.
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->I got the Corsair scimitar elite wireless. The hardware is good, but their software is literally a piece of steaming dog shit. It's completely broken for me, I can't uninstall it, it broke all the sound from my pc with a windows restoration being the only solution. Now I have to use the mouse as is, without any settings or macros. I much prefer the razer Naga X, if only it didn't have such a hump which forces my wrist to an uncomfortable position. Otherwise it has the best side panel I've tried, good software and good sensors. So I'm currently using the scimmy.
r/classicwow • Best mouse for classic wow? ->So first the software stopped working, couldn't recognize my mouse from one minute to the next. No settings work, can't change buttons. I tried uninstalling from windows and it just did not work. Bizarre. So I downloaded a program to force delete programs, and after deleting the software I got no sound. All my sound drivers were intact and everything, but no sound at all. After restoring windows and getting the shit software back sound is fine again. So now I just have the useless broken iCue taking up space on my pc, and the program looks like a GPU glitch when opened, only that program. It's the most horrendous piece of software I've ever had the unfortune to install. I've literally had pc viruses that were easier to get rid of.
r/classicwow • Best mouse for classic wow? ->I like my Corsair scimitar wireless.
r/buildapc • Wireless Gaming mice without “gamer aesthetic?” ->I bought this mouse last year and I love the look and feel of it. Unfortunately, it's completely unusable for me. I use the software to configure the side buttons and it won't save the profile. It's been a while now so I don't remember the details - I think I eventually got it to save a profile but if I closed the software, everything would reset to default. So I'd have to reconfigure the buttons every time I turn on my computer. I googled this and it's a common issue people have with the Corsair software. Very disappointing. I bought the cheapo RedDragon one and that one works perfectly, even if it feels like I got it out of a gumball machine.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Yeah i have scimitar, if u do lots of pvp with engi its like a must have mouse, so much binds even on my rogue 😅
r/classicwow • Best mouse for classic wow? ->If you (or anyone else reading) ever struggle with the button positions on this one or the SteelSeries MMO mouse, I found that the Corsair Scimitar to be way more usable, and the keypad position is slightly adjustable too.
r/pcmasterrace • How I Returned to PC Gaming with One Hand After My Stroke ->Razer Naga Pro (2020) and V2 of it. I tried I think most alternatives, I had Corsair Scimitar at the time it was popular, but the software was ass and it didn't had internal memory, so I could not use it across multiple pc's or even on linux, the button tho a bit slanted were not easy (for me) to make apart. I will never recommend it just due to software being a cow nowadays. I used G600 it was really nice, but I had some issues with software saving my profiles properly. I had ReDragon MMO mouse and same as Scimitar, the buttons were hard to make apart and IIRC didn't had internal memory at the time. As for my Razer Naga 2020, only problems I had in the past \~4 years were MMB double-triple clicking, I had 2 new mouses and 1 repair on it. Nothing else really broke, I still have aliexpres charging thingie, but the pins need cleaning like once a week (at least in my case) with some alcohol wipes to work properly, so I just use the USB cable to charge it.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->AFAIR G600 was on par with Naga Chroma, and the only outlier was Scimitar, as the buttons needed (at least in my opinion) less force than Naga. I think it's time that took a toll on your G600, you could look up how to clean it up to just be sure, as for me the side buttons always take the most gunk (even tho I clean my hand every 2hrs when I take breaks).
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->I'm a big fan of the Corsair Scimitar. It's got the same 1-12 as the G600 and you can move those buttons back and forth to make it more comfortable. The big downside for me is that you can't tilt the scroll mouse on the Scimitar like you can on the G600 so you lose those 2 inputs. It's $50 USD on Amazon right now.
r/Guildwars2 • What is the best gaming mouse to play GW2 smoothly? ->I'm sorry for necro threading, but just wanted to drop in. I've owned almost every "high end" MMO mouse you can name from the original Naga to the Naga V2 Pro (current) as well as all the others like the G600, Corsair Scimitar, the SteelSeries World of Warcraft mice (wired and wireless) as well as the SteelSeries Aerox 9. Razer has undoubtedly been the worst and I don't know why I've purchased a handful of different versions over the last 12 years or so. I wouldn't get one of these. I'm just waiting for this one to die so I can justify replacing it. Aside from that I've had good luck with Razer software. This might be why I keep buying them. Also, Razer has EXCELLENT FOSS Linux support, if that matters to you. My personal favorite was the wired Corsair Scimitar. My only gripe with it was the rubber pad where your pinky sits. It eventually gets filled with dead skin cells and you just feel gross scraping them out to clean it. Regardless of this, I'll be buying the wireless version next. The build quality was great and the only reason it went into the trash is because my parrot chewed through the cord. The old-school SteelSeries WoW mice are long gone, and the button layouts were garbage. The wireless one eventually stopped connecting to the base station and plugging it in was annoying. The Aerox 9 was incredible, it was light, responsive, and served me well. It was killed by a delicious glass of iced tea that landed directly on it. This was the second victim of my Parrot. I'd skip this one because of that. Also, I think the SteelSeries software is atrocious at best. My Arctis Nova Pro Wireless has had tons of software issues from day one and it seems that SS has no plans to patch the issues that so many have complained about. Conclusion: Corsair Scimitar Wireless is probably the way to go if you haven't purchased a mouse yet. Also: here's to hoping that Logitech gives us a G600 Pro Superlight wireless.
r/ffxiv • MMO Mouse Recommendations in 2024? ->I've used the Razer Naga and the Corsair Scimitar. TL;DR- Scimitar had more weight & felt better but the mouse wheel broke consistently. The Naga feels lighter/cheaper but I have yet to have issues with it. The Naga is lighter and I dislike that more, but I haven't had any issues with it. The Corsair Scimitar had more...heft, and felt better to me, but the mouse wheel broke every time after using it the same amount as the Naga. I had the Scimitar replaced twice within Corsair's normal warranty on it and that was always the issue. Still loved the shit out of the Scimitar but swapped to Naga because of that to test it.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Literally same. Replaced 2 times because of scroll wheel in their warranty (so no cost to me but still). I fucking love that mouse though, but it made me switch to the Razer Naga to see how it is. No scroll wheel issues with same amount of use, but I dislike the feeling of it in comparison.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Corsair Scimitar. Only mmo mouse I’ve ever used but been using it for 10 years now and wouldn’t want anything else
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Until it randomly decides to forget your side button mapping and you have to set it up again but that only takes a minute tbf. I love my scimitar. On to my second one now but been using them for 10 years all up.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->I don't play many mmos anymore...but the Corsair Scimitar was my choice over the Naga. It may be slightly less ergonomic than the Naga, but never had any hardware/double clicking issues with the Scimitar
r/MouseReview • Which MMO mouse these days? Software being a factor. ->Corsair scimitar took me from being a bad wow player to high end mythic plus and raiding. Could not recommend enough how much easier it has made my life in game.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->Good mouse, but honestly, fuck ICUE. The most unstable, unintuitive and straight up awful software.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->The razer naga hex moba mouse was perfect with the button arrangement. But too small. Hoped they would make a bigger one.... Second best was the Corsair scimitar rgb elite
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->my scimitar is on its last leg. Right clicks are now double clicks, I don't think I'll be going back as I'm not a fan of the ice. It's a little depressing at the lack of a mmo mouse market.
r/ffxiv • MMO Mouse Recommendations in 2024? ->I agree, but the scroll wheel is very poor and will break. I've had 2 and both have gone the same way. Still usable, but frustrating. And I never use the press on the middle button because I'm scared of breaking them. So that is with fairly light use.
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->You'll get more of what you're after if you google "MMO mouse" instead. If you're not specifically interested in playing MMOs and want something for desktop use, the Logitech MX Master (or MX Vertical if that's your kinda thing) is perfect and can be found for around $120 on sale (keep an eye on https://www.ozbargain.com.au/). Horizontal scroll wheel, back and forward buttons, and a middle button that's configurable with support for gestures that works pretty well. For MMO mice specifically, I've tried about every name brand MMO mouse on the market over the past 10-15 years (haven't tried the Chinese makes yet). The Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless is by far the best the option we've ever gotten. Came out some time last year. 114 grams (not as bad as it sounds) and 2000Hz polling. Perfect size and ergonomics with insane battery life even at 2k. $200 at JB right now so still on the expensive side, but it's excellent. Avoid any Razer Naga variant and avoid the Steelseries Aerox 9, they all suck.
r/MouseReview • Where have all the MMO-styled Mice Gone? ->This right here. It's every bit as good as the g600 is almost every respect but costs way less and is way less risky because the g600 isn't being made anymore.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->Corsair scimitar. Been using for about 5 years. No complaints
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->You absolutely can. The Naga is terrible. Cheap parts, switches in LMB and RMB often break after 6 months, issues with side-button input recognition. Terrible mouse for the price it costs. Scimitar is far better, and the G600 is infinitely times better.
r/wow • Best MMO mouse you've used for wow? ->I ordered a scimitar and a naga pro to test out. The side buttons on the naga felt better. The scimitar also felt cheaper in comparison. I returned the scimitar and kept the naga.
r/wownoob • Best MMO mouse ->I second this. I’ve had mine for around 10 years, still going strong.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Personally, I use an Elite and find it extremely good. The software was fine enough, although tbf I don't change the number bindings off numbers, but I could be see it being frustrating if you try binding them elsewhere. The layout for programs or other assignments for the keys aren't that intuitive. The keys can also be moved to allow it to be more comfortable to press, I'm unsure if you didn't realize the key panel could be slid around with the tool in the box.
r/MMORPG • MMO mouse: G502 Lightspeed might be dying... Any recommendations? ->I favor the Corsair scimitar wireless model. Works great.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->On the whole it's a good mouse, but be aware that their internals can be shitty. You **will** experience the mouse wheel fucking up (registering up scrolls as down and downs as ups on some of the clicks) and there is a decent chance that it'll stop registering left or right clicks when the internal bit of plastic wears down. Both are fixable if you're happy taking the mouse apart, the wheel issue very easily by just adding some lubricant.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->https://www.reddit.com/r/Corsair/comments/ks5m3o/corsair_scimitar_rgb_elite_scroll_wheel_issues/ Top comment there talks about the problem and fix, and there's a YouTube video about how to disassemble the mouse here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_YtN__Dkfs Be careful with the plastic sticky feet, don't deform them too much when taking them off or they won't stick back into place right.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->Logitech G600 is what I’ve been using for years, but I understand it’s been discontinued. I recently bought a Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite to use at work, and it’s not bad! The bottom row of buttons feels a bit hard to press sometimes, but I like how you can move the button plate forward or backwards to fit where your thumb naturally rests.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->corsair scimitar has been great for me for the past 4 years. and it’s also great in the sense that the side buttons are on a slider so you can adjust for your hand size and positioning
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I use a corsair scimitar, i've got 1-10 bound with ctrl & alt modifiers, besides the typical QERFGWXC keys
r/classicwow • Best mouse for classic wow? ->Razor naga, Red dragon 913, Corsair scimitar and Logitech g600.
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->Icue is so shit. I used it for years because scimitar was great. But god forbid trying to reset up your bindings or trying to save them sometimes. So unintuitive. The worse ui I've used out of all the mice I've had over the last 20 years.
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->I have had 2 so far moving from Razor Naga's, and it is my preferred mouse even though I don't play MMO's any more, but i'd say it's on par with Naga's. Both have the problem of semi-rapid mouse button wear causing clicking issues, with I think the scimitar being slightly worse for it. Also they have different ergonomics and people would have a preference between the concave-style of the buttons on a scimi compared to the convex-style of naga's
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->Corsair scimitar wired if you want to not spend $150 on a mouse.
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->I really wish they made a white one I have 4 of this mouse 3 wired 1 wireless
r/Corsair • The Scimitar best MMO mouse ->Make sure you do some research on the scroll wheel issues these seem to be plagued with. I bought one to replace my dying G600 and the scroll wheel on my scimitar starting having issues only 3 months in. Corsair wanted me to pay them to ship it back to them to fix, which didn't seem worth it when I've read others did that and starting having issues again. The mouse has some major QC issues.
r/MMORPG • Any MMO mouse recommendations? ->yeah… my scroll wheel broke on the scimitar too :( the scroll wheel and software suck but everything else is amazing. Luckily it was still under warranty or something and I was able to get a new one for free
r/MMORPG • MMO Mouse Recommendation ->I’ve gone through two scimitars because the scroll wheel will eventually start scrolling up when you are trying to scroll down. It’s a known issue and they don’t do anything to fix it; must have a ton of stock with current design and don’t feel like a new design would be worth or something. They sent me new ones for free each time but like I just went with a different mouse: Reddragon m908
r/MMORPG • What is your favourite MMO Mouse? ->God Bless. Two Nagas broke the scroll mouse press button twice. Expensive Garbage Since Scimitar Im happy
r/wow • Best mouse for WoW with side buttons? ->
