We often think, big brands don't really listen to the community but this is a proof that they do. I think Asus is putting the peripheral community on alert. I see the big improvements they've made in their keyboards and these mouse advancements add to more of their brilliancy. ROG Harpe Ace Extreme with the lightweight design and ergonomic shape, which allows claw and palm grippers to find something they like ( I actually have a mixed grip) and it will definitely be one to try for me! side note, Keris II Ace’s swappable switches are a game-changer for durability. I think with how much modding takes place for many of the mouse in the current market, Asus might be onto something in introducing hot swappable parts (so to speak) in the mice world.

What I like the most about the Harpe Ace is the bio nylon material it is very sturdy yet lightweight also for me the side buttons are very important these are nice and tactile and I like that they are flat, the RGB scroll wheel is a nice touch. To me the mini is interesting as I gravitate toward small mice but would like to see the Harpe treatment on the Strix Impact or a similar egg shape [https://imgur.com/a/YUZzRQr](https://imgur.com/a/YUZzRQr)

Love my OG Harpe, extremely underrated and armoury crate gear is super welcome. Only thing I would change is shorter length, thats it! Width and height are perfect imo. The extreme version looks crazy good.

I have the ROG Harpe Aim Labs edition. Bought during black friday sales on Amazon. Pretty good/solid mouse, everything's just high quality, added grip tape and it's amazing. Now, the software (crate) is not good and could use more tweaks/features.

I 100% agree with you. I actually think the Harpe Ace and the Keris 2 are some of the best mice I've ever used. I love their shapes and their coating along with pretty much everything. But man, the ROG software is SO BAD i stopped using them. I even like the new Harpe Ace Mini, but I returned it because of how BAD their software is.

I don't think I've ever seen a mouse get as much praise in reviews for it's build quality as the Harpe Ace Extreme. I used the Harpe Ace before and found it to be too big for my hands, if the Mini were also available in the Extreme version I'd get one just because I love the carbon look.

My favorite thing about ROG Harpe Ace Extreme is its extremely light and wireless without having holes, i dont like my mouse to be physically open. Plus doesnt have too much rgb on it. Perfect for me :)

ROG Harpe Ace Extreme looks really nice and premium. I really like the aesthetics and the carbon fibre finish. The glass feet included is a nice addition and not really seen in any other mice. Improvements.. I think the shell is a little too long for its slim profile (Rocket Jump Ninja has figured out a good ratio between width and length in a recent video) and the ribbed side grips aren't really conventional. Enthusiasts like to use their own grips or none at all without a lot of texture.

Dude, I still use an ~20yr old diamondback with zero issues, but my new naga rmb switch broke right after warranty ended, go figure… Not planning on buying another Razer product, the new stuff isn’t built to last. I switched to rog so I can swap out the switches if one goes, working ok so far.

The Harp Ace extreme is real contender in high performance space, love the design and carbon fiber shell, with the weight so low it's going glide like crazy.

ASUS harpe is an amazing product, I had it for a while, had to return because it is for bigger hands, but I miss it. Razer orochi for 39,90 is also a good deal.

I just bought the Keris 2 now. I still find 129 too expensive but at least it’s offering more than any big-brand competitor. I also had and returned the ace mini. Amazing product but it was an impulse buy, I think its msrp should be 99 for what it offers. To me ASUS completely replaced Logitech as one of the biggest brand for gaming peripherals.

Harpe might be a better pick than the rest, OP1 is nice for the shape, my homie has the OP1we paired with the Hone Ace mousepad and holy fuck my wrist might get fucked 😂😂

Harpe ace was too long and the mini fixed that weird shape

I owned the Harpe Aimlab, both the mouse and the mousepad. The shape and the weight of the mouse were near perfect, but the scroll button broke down and the local supplier would not cover it under warranty which was a major L for me, and I ended up gifting it to a friend that does not really depend on the scroll button. I still have the mousepad and it’s one of the best ones I ever owned. Sadly, the extreme is not even available in my country - I can’t even imagine how much it will cost if it eventually somehow shows up. Overall, I would buy again, but probably abroad because suppliers here can be very abusive. Thanks for the giveaway

The Harpe Ace is a stunner and I just found out it came with glass skates. It’s pretty uncommon for mice to come with glass skates, more so Gorilla Glass. Tougher than my phone screen lmao

Ohhh, that makes more sense I guess. Still pretty uncommon for mice to offer glass skates, so that’s a pretty unique experience

Ahh my bad, in that case I would recommend Harpe Ace, ASUS fix the annoying problem of armoury crate by making a Harpe Ace only armory crate I suggest you to go on YouTube and search "Black Friday Mice deal" something like this, there is one or two videos and some good discount mice on there

It’s not that weird. That’s a pincer claw grip with a strange thumb position. I do the same, but with the thumb below the buttons. Zowie EC2, Lamzu thorn, G Pro superlight, Asus Harpe Ace work for me. Might work for you too. Zowie ZA-13, Vaxee Outset AX or NP01-S get recommended for this kind of grip a lot, though I haven’t tried them.

I've tried the harpe ace and actually quite enjoyed it, my only gripe being the coating and polling rate but the latter not being as important imo

Yea I thinks it’s bc of my weird grip. I actually have pretty big hands (20cm from index fingertip to bottom palm/wrist). But bc I “curl up” a lot with my claw grip, the mouse that’s advertised to bigger hands actually feels uncomfortable to me. Like the Harpe Ace.

Would be very interested to see how the Keris II compares, since I now know ASUS ROG makes great stuff, albeit a bit expensive. Will be looking out for any sales on the Keris and the Extreme! The mini would also be really interesting to try for the right price!

I think my favorite aspect of the mice above is the harpe ace extreme's take on what a premium mice should be. I've been a fan of the harpe ace's side profile and lower front button height as it doesn't restrict my claw grip on the mice or make it conform to a specific grip that some nice like ergos can do. I heard lots of great things about the QC on the extreme which is definitely a great thing to hit out of the park on the first release! Kudos is deserved for that. So i definitely wouldn't make giving it a try and seeing it for myself. Thanks again for hosting the giveaway Asus!

The harpe ace is a sleeper pick for big handed people. Tried many different mice but keep coming back to that one.

It's nice seeing a high-end gaming mouse like the ROG Harpe Ace Extreme! I love the carbon fiber design and the less weight that comes with it! It's lighter than my Razer Viper Mini for that smooth action! The presenation with packaging alone is something to behold! White or Black, take your pick! This little mouse is packed with features! Keep up the good work and always innovate, ASUS/ROG!

Gotta throw in rare recommendation: Asus ROG Harpe Ace. Great mouse honestly. If you can find it below 100$ it's absolutely great build quality. Distinct clicking, light, comfy shape, good grip, and good scroll wheel. Can't attest to its longevity but with how it feels, it should last a long time. Only con to it, is its atrocious software. You have to download a special software through github so you don't have to use Armory crate which is crap and barely works.

Ignore anyone advocating any specific mouse as best as they are clueless. Mice are very specific to each person depending on their hand size, grip style etc. I suggest trying some when you can and seeing what you like, this site is good for looking at shapes. Personally I prefer a fat mouse booty because of my grip, Pulsar x2h and zaopin z1 are really good, Lamzu Thorn is a good ergo mouse, Atlantis is a good claw mouse. I also have several other that gather dust; for longer hands Asus harpe or Razer viper v2/3 are really good, but for me they are too big. I have several mice close to $200 and are no different than Lamzu for $90, possibly worse, so price point doesn’t mean anything. The Ace Extreme takes what the Harpe Ace did and upgraded it from a great mouse to one that holds its own against some of the best. It took the cues from the GPX shape but improved the weight and the awful mushy side buttons that Logitech has. And thank you guys for making a lightweight version of Armory Crate. It allows us users who don't have an ASUS laptop or motherboard to use the software.
