UtechSmart - Venus Series

Been with a UTechSmart Venus since 2016. It’s now at 40€ but back in time I paid 17€ for it and still working pretty good for me. I wanted a Corsair Scimitar back then but was just teenager and didn’t have any incomes except for what my parents gave me so I took that one. I’m so used to it that I don’t know if I want to change now and it’s still perfectly working after 9 years

Same exact mouse as the UTechSmart Venus (check it out, same mouse, same software different logo) and I’ve been using it for 9 years

When my Utech Venus had a sticking button after 7 years, I bought another one because I love this mouse for WoW. It's also very inexpensive

I use a UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse that I got on Amazon. It’s relatively cheap and off-brand, but it works well. My first mouse from them started double-clicking on left click after 10 months of pretty heavy use (6+ hours a day), I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me a completely new one, which I still use to this day.

The materials are different (the utechsmart venus has a more "rubbery" material and Redragon m908 is more "plasticky" material) and the utechsmartvenus is a little smaller and a little lighter. There's also another difference I dunno how to explain. Otherwise yeah they're identical

Yep, they hold up well. I got mine about the same time. It gets probably 35-40 hours of use per week.

I think they are good, for me at least. The angles are helpful to help differentiate between the rows.

Yeah, Venus Pro is still my favorite. I actually have two! I use one with my laptop when traveling. The one I use with my desktop is starting to get a little unresponsive on some of its buttons, so I'm probably going to take it apart and clean up the switches with some [of this stuff](https://www.amazon.com/BW-100-Nonflammable-Electronic-Contact-Upsidedown/dp/B07FNBW47M) sooner or later

Got a cheap Utech Venus mouse on amazon during MoP and it has been nothing but amazing since.

As far as durable and long lasting goes I would recommend the UtechSmart Venus. Comes in wired and wireless but idk how good the wireless is since I only use wired. First one I bought lasted like 8 years with daily use. Fairly easy to disassemble, take the footpads off, take out screws and pop the cover off. However it does have 12 side buttons numbered 1-12 and they can attract a lot of dirt so a small brush is recommended to clean between them. Besides the buttons needing to be cleaned fairly regularly its a very solid mouse imo and for around $30 wired I think its a good buy.

I use redragon m913 really decent mouse i use to have the utechsmart venus gaming mouse but it keep d/cing while charging its a solid mouse too but redragon one dont have that issue mind you both of mines are wireless but they have wired versions if you like that.

Hi, I bought a UtechSmart MMO mouse back in 2021, and I am still using it without any issue so far.

It's pretty good imo. I haven't used them a lot, only 4 or 6 while playing WoW, but never had to complain.

Yes I went to Curry's in the UK, where they sell both of these and you can try them out. I could have RMA'd my Naga's in the past but didn't think to do so as I would have been without a mouse. The most recent warranty expired in February so I just missed it, I've been living with the issue for well over a year. I went through my Amazon order history and I tried a redragon and utech in the past and the side buttons didn't give enough feedback to be spammed, they were far too squishy, so I sent them back. The Scimitar buttons also didn't feel as good as the Naga, and it doesn't feel great in my hand. There are also lots of reports of the scroll wheel breaking too, and looking at one in person yesterday I don't think it would stand up to me either. The V2 HyperSpeed has a completely different scroll wheel design and I want to see if it lasts longer, it also uses a single AA battery that I can swap out for a rechargeable one, so I get a wireless mouse back finally too. I haven't tried a SteelSeries yet, but I really don't think the side buttons on a Naga can be beat. The feedback and spammability are amazing and they have never worn out. Having great side buttons is more important to me than a scroll wheel, as I use the side buttons in nearly every game I play. If it breaks again, I'll be RMA'ing immediately, but it already feels more robust than the other Naga models, here's hoping anyway.

I have the Venus Pro and it works well. Two people I do strikes with recommend it and it's pretty cheap so I bought the wireless one. I've had it for a few months in I'm happy with it so far.

Let me introduce you to the 35 dollar utechsmart venus... 12 buttons including a programmable "fire" button near your index finger for ptt thing is built like a tank I've used one for like 7 years at this point

I replaced my g600 with the UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse RGB Wired. The quality, textured finish, button feel, and weight are very nice. Software allows you to assign buttons and change the RGB lights. I also heard good things about the Redragon M913 Impact Elite Wireless Gaming Mouse. I purchased it from Ali express but didn’t test it since the other mouse is doing so well. You can get both direct from their respective sellers on Ali express cheaper then Amazon.

I looked at some of those nut thought the price was too high, I paid 30 for my new g600 when they were still being sold. That said, my replacment is better in every way, with the exception of how the software looks ui wise.

i've been using a utech venus (though it appears to be redbranded to utech red dragon) mmo mouse for 6 years and it's legit the best mouse I've owned, I've a logitech g600, cable went in 2 years, a corsair sabre, right click died in 6 months, razer naga, middle mouse started playing up before the cable went. Yet, this cheap, shitty (build quality) wise, mmo mouse has survived 3+ years now? The side buttons are ridged nicely, the settings and left click button are useful My main critique is the achaic software it uses , looking straight out of 2004 but other than that, for 30 quid, worth a shot

Me and my family have had utech venus mices (last 2 have been the wireless model which has a better program). Only had one break on us and we've had a few of them for.... 7 or 8 years?
