I love IEM's but you can't beat the comfort of listening through over ear headphones. I have a pair of custom AKG K92's. I converted to balanced input and when I got my Echo Mini and they're very nice and comfortable to wear.

Have used the K92 for years both recording and just plugged into my Iridium. Only thing I don’t like is the 6 ft cord I keep rolling my chair over or stepping on lol.

DT770 PRO (80ohm) ,akg K92, hd599 as said, fiio FT1 (i have the DT770 and the FT1 Pro and both are used in 7h+ sessions or so and no issues) those are the ones that come to my head in comfort and sound quality in that range

AKG K52 / K72 / K92. All of them are basically the same model. Supreme value for money and very comfortable.

AKG K92 pretty good with an eq and fairly cheap.

The best headphones are ones you can afford, and don't protect like they're gold plated. I like AKG k92s and have a few pairs around the house, There's one pair of DT770s on my desk and they don't move from there. I have some open back headamame experience headphones with a mic, they're much more comfortable if I'm expected to talk and sound more like gamer headphones. I've got a closed back set as well that are just ridiculously thumpy. But here's the thing, super flat and accurate studio headphones don't sound as fun as "gamer" sets. I don't tend to buy from that market segment as they're fragile or have Bluetooth or similar features that I don't use. But for practice I'm going to pick the headphones that sound like I'm in front of a 4x12 rather than the ones that sound like I'm in the control room listening to a clinically mic'd 4x12. Mostly because if I grab the accurate headphones and don't have a bass and a kick in the mix, I'm going to crank the bass knob on my amp.

Hey I have the k52.. and I got them 4 years ago for around 2100. At that price, they’re amazing, but not as good as the [K92](https://www.amazon.in/AKG-Pro-Audio-K92-Closed-Back/dp/B01AIO8XVA/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=35PHETGGX1IZG&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.jgV5fcgJQH-aJQkXxbO4V3aWp3zxhEM4tyEg2Volp7junTeflE3e1cqib2TYVdtCxOe1oJV78NgbGJHqnFEFV1yGflS_J83pRMUOxlA4I30-CS3mj22MZgL1yOAs5JK_ZdDfU90jitKOkbCGHuNducc5r2X8WM3jsxGyafg4WqCe41sIENF3lbySAX6sHvGGgc7Kdg8w52-Y2D9_xugDUA.PAz77WzPE9BGVbVSmOIRqwu1Y2EOkKM5ER-ZVYoeFt4&dib_tag=se&keywords=k92&qid=1764613163&sprefix=k92%2Caps%2C263&sr=8-3). It’s available for under 3k too. Or if you want to save a lil bit more, check out the [K72](https://www.amazon.in/K72-Closed-back-studio-headphones/dp/B01AYSNHVQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=3LFY450GIHOF7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.MZAnbI7HGXDOwONoOOCB83bMsQPLh2xRFTrfD4sbwRXp6XbE8m9nBKHHcpRJS5HSCVd6HR6f19sz6h2umGcB_UyXODcymSBkZmfMT59SQTW-JbV2L9UXekNqLQtcUhL4lyXItSMi_EfjXUaqoC5YS8bE3v7JyKc82VhtGl5ZpkrxuvOZ43DautT8AeDchIqYDbYuJl9lXbdlSoY2UDVdJw.dsLbM8cqL5oNH8No-jDJqMR5vYT9TQ92ayb2ADCcQFw&dib_tag=se&keywords=k72&qid=1764613369&sprefix=k72%2Caps%2C269&sr=8-1-spons&aref=JAE2iaTYfe&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1). Also available for the same price as the K52. Both are upgraded versions of the K52 with slightly better soundstage, tonality and detailing, so I’d go with those cuz they’re still under your budget.
