I will have my XM4’s 5 years this summer. Zero issues still in perfect condition. Best headphones I’ve ever owned. I had studio beats prior that were trash.

Yep, @OP I went from Beats Studios to these, they press on your head less and the ANC is way better, and they're way more affordable

I mean everyone’s experience is different, but there’s also so many people that love their soundcore headphones. I own a pair of beats studio over ear, Sennheiser momentum 4, soundcore Q 35’s, and space one pros. The beats are my go to for the gym. And obviously the Sennheiser’s have the best audio quality. but for daily drivers I love my soundcores. One feature about them I really like is the large ear cups, larger than my other headphones. For the price you’re looking for I’d research the Q30’s and Q45’s and the Space ones. I got the space one pros for $115 on an Amazon day deal otherwise they are $199.

I've purchased the wired and bluetooth version of these JLAB headphones for my kids. They have a pair for school (wired) and a pair for home to use with their iPads. Our wireless ones do have an audio jack and you can use whatever cable you like. I think they are more comfortable than my Beats Studio, tbh. One downfall of the Beats is that the audio jack hole is TINY, so it was hard to find a cord that actually fit. I'll admit I don't know much about audio stuff either, but these are also inexpensive enough that I don't feel too bad if they get scuffed up or lost. Unless you can get a good fit with the Apple Airpods Pro2 or the Beats earbuds, something like the Beats Studio are probably your best option. They're reasonably durable, reasonably loud, reasonablly water resistent, and inexpensive if you buy them on sale/old models. I mostly use the Pro 2 in the gym and they're a much better headphone in pretty much every way, but not everyone can get a good fit with them.

I got them to watch stuff in Dolby atmos, I mean I could get a sound system, but it doesn’t properly fit my room. Might gonna get two HomePods to replace my old 2.0 setup (gonna sell them, they are like 23kg, around 40 years old, but I wanna have something modern). Sound is insane too, I mean I have the APP3 too, but depending on what I do at home or so, the APM are better. I use the APP3 for cycling and APM 99% of the time at home, sometimes with transparency mode on, sometimes with ANC if it’s too loud outside. I got replacement ear pads with cooling gel and much much better fabric on them, sound is absolutely the same and everything works.

Seems like the APM weren’t properly sitting on your head, so for ANC the seal wasn’t properly there. The Beats Studio (I had them too up to few days ago) don’t have as good ANC and transparency, though they aren’t too bad.

Honestly depends on what you’re looking for. I own them all, I love the power beats fit, but for some reason they start breaking up on my music like 10 mins into work out, the studios are awesome if you like over ear, but my go to now have been the power Beats Pro 2 but had to change the ear tips as they kept popping out my ear, now they are perfect for calls and working out
