I used to have a pair of Beats Studio 3 that did a decent job. But the headband broke.....cheap shit plastic. I had an old pair of iPhone wired ear buds that I used as an emergency backup. 1 year later I still haven't bothered asking for a replacement. I'm used to these now and honestly the sound quality from my mic is better than people with $500 Bose headsets. The only downside is I can't get up and pace around during meetings.

might be just me,but i have the studio 3’s from beats. haven’t failed me for 3 ish years now. never wiped em (yea i’m dirty/lazy) but i sweat like crazy. only thing that’s “bad” after 3 years is that the adjuster is loose.

i have small ears. i used to wear airpods a few years ago and they constantly slid out, i was always readjusting them and shoving them back into my ears. at that point it starts hurting. started using beats studio 3s and they are a lot more comfortable, sound quality is better, adjustable, and never get smelly lol!

r/boseQC Ultra for gym?

There is nothing wrong with over ear. I have used Beats Studio 3, pros. Bose 700 which did have an ipx 4 rating. If you wipe the earpads with a towel periodically at the gym lifting you’ll have no problems. Even my pads held up.  Right now I’m using the bose QuietComfort and they are perfect for the gym. Some people don’t realize that earbuds aren’t actually good for your ears. Causing ear infections. Yes when your inner ear canal gets blocked and sweat is involved. Well some people don’t like it. So stop recommending earbuds when someone asks a question about over ear headphones for the gym. I have never had electronic failures with over ear. Just pad replacement. Mostly the moisture you’re worried about is water working into the mic holes. Like rain. Even use em on the treadmill to walk at an incline after weights for a bit of cardio. Use em enjoy them just take care of em. Changed the pads in my studio 3s 4 or 5 times still work great. All my headphones do and they all have been to the gym.

Beats Studio Pro at Walmart 60% off, $149. Studio 3 older but great too. I wipe my headphones with same wipes gym uses for equipment. You want to clean as I got a little rash at first from not wiping them.

Hi everyone! So my Beats Studio 3's died about a week ago. I am not even necessarily sure exactly what is wrong with them but it sounds dreadful, as though something has come loose? Like all I hear is bass and nothing else in one ear and this rattling and it's just bad. And honestly I was thinking about getting new ones anyways (guess it found out and felt betrayed). I had some problems with the beats, the noise cancellation was decent but I can't help but feel like there is better out there somewhere. And the sound quality left much to be desired. It felt like the intensity was just missing. The range of tones and sound just felt minimal and the equalizer in my settings both on my iPhone and Spotify didn't even take me 1/10 of where I wanted to be and I didn't expect it would. Anyways, I have been searching for a new pair and came across focal bathys and the sound quality sounds terrific, that being said, people haven't had the nicest things to say about the noise cancellation and ideally l'd want both which is difficult I know but is it impossible? I know that the noise cancellation can fuck up the sound quality so bathys prioritize that over noise cancellation. I was also looking at the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) | know they haven't hit the market yet and are only available for preorder but seems like people haven't nice things to say about the first ones. Is there a way to have both good noise cancelling and amazing sound quality? In terms of price range, I was thinking 1000 or just over 1000 maximum. Does anyone here have bathys? How bad is the noise cancellation really? Like do you feel the need to turn up the volume more to drown people out and as a result you are uncomfortable? How are they generally? I know they are more on the chunky side too as far as headphones go, do they ever get uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time as a result? Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for all those who respond!

Ja mam Beats Flex i jestem zadowolony ale dodam też, że Beats Studio 3 zakładam na czapkę i jest oczywiście gorsze ANC ale nadal funkcjinuje zadowalająco

Not buds but headphones Specifically Beats Studio 3. I’ve had them for 6+ yrs now, and only had to replace the ear cushions last year. 100% can’t imagine modern life w/o them. Fantastic for audiobooks !!!

Around the house I use a pair of Beats Studio3. Love the noise reduction(drowns out the kid playing video games) and that they’re over ear not on ear. Walking the dog or just walking around town, I use AirPods.
