I'll throw in my 2c based on ones I have actually owned and used both on iOS and Android... 1. Bose QC (or QC45s) or QC Ultra. The most comfortable. Good enough sound, excellent ANC. Fold for easier carrying on the move. They have APTX adaptive/Snapdragon sound but no standard or HD APTX. Not many devices out there support Snapdragon sound 2. Sennheiser M4s. Fantastic sound, terrible ANC. Do not fold. 3. Sony M4s and M5s. Bose level ANC, mostly good if a little muddy at times sound. Cook my ears, the least comfortable by some distance, for me at least. M5s do not fold. 4. B&W P7 S2e. Fantastic sound. Ok, probably good enough ANC. Do not fold 5. B&W P7 S3. Pretty much as per the S2es, but they sound better and maybe the ANC is slightly better too, still not at Bose or Sony levels though. Still do not fold. They have Snapdragon sound, but they also have APTX HD and standard. I could never buy Sonys again unless I was sure the ear cooking had been resolved, I suspect though that this is down to their overall approach to ANC. The Bose QC45s or the new QCs (non-Ultra) are head and shoulders the most comfortable over-ear ANC cans I have owned.

r/headphonesIs this the best bluetooth headphone one could possibly get?!

I got the PX8 and they are really good headphones. I still have some Bowers and Wilkins P7 wired headphones as well. Bowers and Wilkins’ high-end models are made to last a long time using metal and sheepskin leather. My P7 set must be at least 10 years old now and they still look brand new.

Bowers and Wilkins. I have a 10+ year old P7 set that looks brand new and sounds amazing. I also have the Px8 and they’re no different, high quality build with great audio. They make their high-end sets out of sheepskin and metal. Their high-end headphones last forever.

r/SonyHeadphonesIs sweat harmful for my Sony WH-1000XM6 during workouts?

Ears sweat when workout. I put my old Bower n Wilkins P7. I heard those snap really easy/fragile.

I would take a look at Bowers & Wilkins (Px8?) I have some P7 (not wireless) and they have a really good, meaty bass but not overpowering like the Sony headphones I've used, but likely not as good at ANC (I've read that Sony is generally one of, if not, the best at that). Personally I'm not much of a bass-head and I really like the Shure Aonic 50. They have bass but are definitely the most neutral of the 3.

r/SonyHeadphonesLooking to buy over ear headphones! Are XM4 still king?

I'd suggest looking elsewhere then. Bowers & Wilkins are a solid option imo. They run circles around the XM4 for both sound and build quality. ANC isn't the best, but it's serviceable.

i think sony is the best middle-of-the-way solution between sound quality and anc. Bose's sound signature is anything but neutral, which is what you want for good sound. B&W has best sound but anc sucks.
