Yes, it’s possible, but expectations matter. In busy, packed offices, the biggest factor isn’t noise canceling for the person wearing the headset, it’s how well the microphone blocks background noise for the person on the other end of the call. ANC doesn't refer to a microphone just as a heads up. Based on what we’ve tested, a few options that consistently perform well are * EPOS Impact 1000 for wireless * EPOS Impact 860 for wired * Yealink HA64 Pro That said, in very loud call floor environments, hardware alone isn’t always enough. In those cases, pairing a good headset with noise canceling software like NEEP can make a noticeable difference. From a pricing standpoint, you’re typically looking at $150-$300ea
I bought the EPOS Impact 860T (wired) and do not regret it. It has ANC headphones and noise suppression mics. Great product when working in a busy office floor with many also on their MS Teams calls around you. I watched a couple of videos and ended up going with the IPOS 860T. Has the best mic quality I’ve ever seen. The headset needs to have a boom otherwise it’s gonna pick up background noise much more.
Exactly this! Most of the suggested option in this thread do a fantastic job at filtering out the background noise from your *ears* but mist don't do anything, or don't do much about filtering the office noise from the *microphone*. There's a few sample videos on YouTube from channels like HeadsetAdvisor or CallOneInc that demonstrate how various models perform in this situation. You want to factor in both how well the headset filters out the surrounding noise and what the voice quality sounds like post filtering. Some models (e.g. Yealink BH76+) do a pretty decent job of filtering the background noise, but at the expense of audio clarity... your voice sounds very narrowband and rough. In my experience, after testing several options, I went with the EPOS Impact 1000 series (I went with the 1061 ANC) because it had great microphone noise filtering and the best (by far) microphone audio quality. The earpiece ANC is *okay*, but nothing amazing... cancels out some of the background noise but nothing like a good set of over-ear ANC *headphones*. The EPOS 860 ANC is the exact same headset but with wired USB-C connection rather than Bluetooth.
look at epos Impact 1000 series or epos impact 860. This is one of my favorites. I just got an email today there’s new over ear cushions you can get. Gonna grab me a pair! Exactly what i was wanting and will make it the ultimate work and gaming headset now. I use these work work mainly and casual gaming so if you need some serious gaming specs or something this wouldn’t be the way to go.
Epos impact 860 with over ear cushions accessory or Discover D722U are good. I use the wireless version of the impact 860 headset and the passive noise isolation and comfort is great, plus it’s made for home/office and calls/meetings. It’s not going to block out all the noise around you for what you hear though, it definitely reduces it to better concentrate but idk any headphones in general for your exact needs that’s going to block out all background noise like a pair of professional hearing protection headphones.
I second this! Have epos impact and the noise cancellation is amazing
I have the EPOS impact and they are amazing
