Daemonxar 1.0If you like them, that's great. I weirdly like the Audivina, despite them being pretty universally panned. It's nice to zig when everyone else zags, sometimes.
It turns out that my problem with a lot of closed backs is muddy, overdone bass and for its many flaws, the Audivina isn't bassy. I've seen the FR graphs and I know that it's a weird and spikey tune, but I just don't hear it with my unit. The detail, clarity, and seperation are really great and I have only hit a few tracks where the Audivina's quirks bother me (weirdly, clapping occasionally is really bothersome). They also take EQ pretty well, without sacrificing the things that I do love about them.
I don't hate the Audivina as much as most do, and after EQ it's an okay headphone, but yeah ... bizarre how good they are at open, and how bad they are at closed.
