I would just get the same headset if possible, if that’s what you’re satisfied with. 95% of gaming headsets just have “okay” sound. Couple of notable outliers here and there. Pc38x comes to mind with its open back design and wide soundstage. Maybe an amp/dac could help with a wired headsets audio quality a bit. Some actually come with one already. If you really cared about audio quality, you’d have to go down the audiophile route and use a dedicated headphone with a separated mic. Same is true if you wanted the “best” mic quality. I had that audiophile setup, but downgraded back to a wireless headset because I prefer the convenience over quality. It’s also a Hyper X Flight S I’ve been using for the past 5 years that somehow hasn’t died on me. Rtings.com is a good source for reviews
Hyper X Flight S, because after like 5 years they refuse to die for whatever reason I actually use the wireless charging feature all the time
They’re mostly fine. Which is going to be satisfactory for 95% of people. Yeah there’s some “bad” options but only if you really cheap out. If you’re not an audiophile, then you fall into that 95%. I had an entry level audiophile setup for a while. Games sounded really immersive with my open back sennheiser headphones. I would instinctively turn around sometimes from in game noises. Sound bleed and low bass were the only cons, separate mic and wires were another for me. I gave up the audio quality for some wireless headphones (Hyper X Flight 1 years > Hyper X Flight S 5+ years and counting). Been my setup for the past 6 years and idk how they’ve never broken. The convenience of wireless and all in one is perfect. Games still sound fine, bass is decent, no sound bleed, no wires. I’m satisfied.

Hyper X Cloud Pilots. Wireless and so good.
Los hyperx cloud flight. Nada le gana en duración de batería y comodidad . Tengo unos hace 4 años y 0 problemas
I still have the original Cloud Flight and despite the range starting to go on it, it's still a pretty damn good headset. Got my $100 worth for sure.
After using Pulse Elite for 2 years, i bought the Hyper X Cloud Alpha 2. The sound was already better out of the box. But with some EQ tweaks with the PC app Ngenuity Beta, it's way better than the Pulse Elite. Same goes for comfort. Going to the Pulse Elite after using a Hyperx Cloud Flight was a little downgrade in terms of comfort. Now with the Alpha 2, comfort is excellent and sound is another level. Battery is insane : one month without charging (using it every day).
