I don't think it's the glasses, I think the issue is 20 dollar turtle beaches. I have both a hyper x cloud core and Logitech g933. Glasses aren't an issue with either set
Take this from someone that used exclusively Focal's with a Mod Mic for almost a decade before trying a wireless gaming headset. Use the wireless gaming headset. HyperX Core II Wireless. Yes, the audio you get from whatever setup you have with actual headphones is amazing. Yes, the convenience of having a wireless headset is 1000x times better and the audio is 70% as good for gaming.
Hey everyone, I’m really confused about what headset to get and could use some advice. I’ve been using the HyperX Cloud 2 since around 2018. I mainly play FPS games, so footsteps and directional sound are extremely important to me. Lately I’ve been playing Arc Raiders, and with all the environmental noise in that game, my Cloud 2 has started to feel overwhelming and even painful on the ears. Even after tweaking EQ, it’s still very hard to clearly pick up footsteps. After reading tons of posts (literally spent a whole day researching), I decided to try the HD560S since it’s highly recommended in my budget range ($200–250) and supposedly doesn’t need an amp. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me at all. The volume felt very low even at 100%, and the directional audio in Arc Raiders was confusing and hard to pinpoint. I used the Apple dongle and tried EQ to increase volume, but after 6–8 hours of testing different settings, I just couldn’t make it work and ended up returning it. Now I’m back to square one and not sure what to buy next. My budget is $250 max. What I’m looking for: Strictly for FPS gaming Excellent directional audio and pinpoint accuracy Clear footsteps No need for music or movies — gaming only Preferably no amp/DAC setup I’d really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Love my hyperX. Sound great and so comfortable
Yup. Its sooo good and for such a great price. I also love the detachable microphone.
DONT get the Sennheiser HD450 BT. They sounded good but fit a bit small over the ear. They we're in the case for the past year (owned for 3 years total and hardly used)- and when I opened them back up yesterday I found that all the foam covering vinyl had separated from itself on one ear. They were still charged and good to go otherwise - but I'll definitely not be looking to Sennheiser for my next pair. What a pissoff. My HyperX Cloud 2's are corded but seem to be holding up much better - plus more comfortable.
In short, I've used my Cloud 2s for years now and while they are the most comfortable headset I've ever tried (especially having a big head) I want to look for better audio quality for bass heavy music and gaming. I bought the 560s and unfortunately had to return them due to the really tight clamp force, so I am looking for any recommendations of people who happen to know how the Cloud 2 comfort is, but for headphones that provide better audio quality but have the comfort of Cloud 2s. I'm not trying to dive deep into the audiophile world, but I would like to treat myself to better audio quality. Thanks!
WARNING: If you come from Cloud 2 and playing CS2 - DO NOT BUY CLOUD 3 S. Why? If you ever tried 3.5mm jack crappy headsets etc Cloud Alpha, its that sound in CS. Basically distant sound, sounding really rough and corny. With Cloud 2 you get much clearer game-sound and the actual "real" sound of CS. Cloud 3S Wireless is sadly the same... and yes after some changes in EQ it sounds a little better but if you want to keep your sound don't change to Cloud 3S Wireless. I'm so dissapointed as I really wanted the comfort of Cloud 3 S wireless along with better mic... but here I am waited a week for it just to reveal that it sounds so bad in the game. Can I just get a good wireless headset that is the same comfort as cloud 3s and sound as cloud 2?! Returning cloud 3 S and going back to my 6 year old Cloud 2 until I find a good wireless with the same or better sound for CS2.
560s is possibly the upgrade you are looking for. You can attach different cable and microphone. I went Game Zero - HyperX Cloud 2 - Game One - 560s. Zero regrets.
