r/MicrosoftTeams • Over-ear headset suggestions ->Yes, in this environment noise cancelling microphones are even more important than the noise cancelling on your end. The best two I have used are the Jabra Evolve 75 UC and the Poly Savi 8220. The Jabra are bluetooth to a tiny dongle that can live in your laptop if you're careful. The Poly is WDECT to a large desktop base. The range on WDECT is much better, but the portability is worse. Potentially important if you're using a WeWork space with possible hotdesking.

It should fit in your budget. It is really a purpose built work tool.

I would try the 85 but it's a little pricey and I don't really like headphones with moderate clamping force. I always try to go with the lightest possible. Gives me headaches otherwise.

I love Jabra because of the natural sidetone – even though they're ANC on-ear headphones, you can hear yourself perfectly. I've heard good things about Plantronics Focus, but haven't tried them. If you're on calls and don't talk much, over-ear headphones are comfy, but the mic and call quality aren't that great.
