Jabra Evolve2 55. I’ve used them in operational locations and no one heard the guys around me.
Was in the exact same situation. I got the Jabra evolve2 55s over the 65 flex. Forgot the reasoning, but at the time I was comparing them the 55s were better for my use case. I've been happy with them, although wind makes falls difficult. The noise suppression on the mic is strong and excessive noise will cut out your voice.
Jabra evolve 2 55 mono, love the comfort
I personally use Jabra Evolve2 55 (under $200 on Amazon) and Jabra Evolve2 65 flex (my favorite). I use them primarily for the mic noise cancellation.
I've recently acquired a set of the new and sparkly Evolve3 85's and I was excited to get going with them. I've got a set of Evolve 2 55's, a set of 65's and two sets of the 75's. I really love these headsets and they fit the bill in every way, apart from they are on-ear and not over ear which is what I really wanted, for comfort. I open the box to the new 85's, get them all connected, make sure they're updated etc and I was instantly unimpressed with the active noise cancelling ability of them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, with the thinking that maybe it changes based on environments... Nope. I'm currently sat in an office with people talking (not very loudly) roughly 15m away, a radio on, printer going brrrr every now and again, people making tea/coffee, typing, tapping on the table - I hear it ALL. Even while listening to music. I'm not sure if it's just the ones I have that are defective, or whether an update is needed or that's just what this model is like, but these are poor compared to my other Jabra sets. "Find focus literally anywhere with our best ever noise cancellation. **Jabra Advanced ANC™** adapts to your individual fit and surroundings to block distractions for both music and calls – something most headsets can’t do." This is what Jabra have on their website, but so far, I do not believe any of it and actually, it's totally the opposite! Does anyone else have these? If so, how have you gotten on with the ANC functionality?
I have the Jabra Evolve 2 for work. I got them as I am a hearing aids wearer so they fit over my aids enough to be comfortable. I can use them for calls and blocking out the office. The noise cancelling in the office is excellent but I’ve not tried them on a plane before so cannot comment. I love that I can listen to my Spotify using my work headset so people assume I’m on a call and leave me alone.
Jabra Evolve 2 such a workhorse
Yeah, as someone who works with noise canceling headphones (Jabra Evolve 2) and uses personal headphones such as the Sony XM4… get Resound hearing aids or similar tech that addresses feedback. Resound specifically has a feature that will reduce feedback to almost nonexistent. I personally bought the Noahlink so I could fiddle with that feature until I got it how I liked it. I suggest considering this and doing some research. Phonaksdo have whistleblock for their feedback tech but it isn’t as good as Resounds DFS Ultra
