The stereo version of this headset is even better.

Actually the 65 models are consistently rated better than 75 and 85. There’s a flex mike boom on the 75 they tried to improve upon, but failed spectacularly.

I really like shokz too, Don't feel like the microphone quite cuts it for things like zoom calls and phone calls. As others have mentioned, you can stick some ear plugs in to filter out background noise. I have done this with some success. I have some ear plugs that I use for concerts that I have used a few times. I did that recently for a flight I was on. I could hear the shocks fine without the ear plugs, but it was nice to tone down the din of the jet. For my job I have gotten two headsets. I have a Jabra evolve2 65, which I have had for a few years. The battery lasts a long time and the Bluetooth range is really good. I can mute myself on a zoom call and go take a piss and nobody's the wiser. I never miss a single detail. The sound quality is good and the microphone seems to work great. I also have a poly Voyager 4320, and it's a nice headset, but I've had trouble with the name changing when it's paired for some reason. This screws up zoom and my VoIP application because I have profiles set up where my headsets. Out of the blue it will decide to not be a poly Voyager and have some generic sound device name, and then the phone rings, and I don't know where the hell the audio is coming from. My jabra headset has never done that. When I'm not using my headset and I hang it on the crank of my standing desk. Or I just put it down around my neck. If you don't like having headphones on your ears, these headsets may not be the solution.

Mono Jabra Evolve2 65. Very good audio quality over Jabra's proprietary Bluetooth adapter and has pretty good microphone quality and if you flip the boom up then it's muted. If you're usually on video calls and rarely on phone calls, then you could get one of the options for true wireless and just put one bud in. But I think the best option is probably just use your favorite Bluetooth earbuds and then have a nice desktop microphone be the microphone. The desktop microphone is going to have much better audio quality anyway and your favorite earbuds are going to work well for the audio.

We have the stereo headset at work. It's not bad. If you want to block out noise, it's pretty good. Doesn't really have noise cancelling (There's probably the 75 or 85 models that have that), but for passive it's not bad. I prefer the mono because I can control the ambient sound in the space where I work.  I've never purchased these headsets new, I just buy them off of Amazon's warehouse or off of eBay and they work just fine.

I have Jabra Evolve 2 65 at work and EPOS 1000 at home. I love EPOS 1000 more.

Depends what you use for your calls. In case it’s teams, ensure the headset is certified, other the voice quality might take a dump. Sennheisers and Sonys sound pitiful and have very often issues with their mics. Corporate wide we use jabra evolves 2 65 onwards and they’re great. Noise cancellation included.

I use a Jabra Evolve2 65 in an open office environment. Does extremely well at filtering out background noise on calls. They're not noise cancelling, but the slightly more expensive Evolve2 75 is.

Jabra Evolv 65s. If you don’t get many calls they’re brilliant. Connects to phone for music but will switch over to pc when needed.

If you want one with the best speech quality, get one with a boom microphone. Non-boom headphones are also fine if you work in a quiet environment. I gave my kid the Jabra Evolve2 65 Microsoft Teams edition, and he seems very happy with it. The MS Teams edition comes with a Jabra Bluetooth adapter, which guarantees link quality and the buttons work with MS Teams. You can check here for all MS Teams Certified headphones: [https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/teams-devices/category/headsets/36](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/teams-devices/category/headsets/36)

r/MicrosoftTeams • Recommendation for headset to use best during Teams meetings and can be used for music (mainly Spotify). Company is reimbursing. ->
