Sorry which one did you say you tested? I have the jabra 65 flex for this reason. Good for travel too. Amazing noise cancelling. I cook all the time with it and make phone calls, or walk next to busy streets. Nobody can tell.
Jabra evolve2 flex 65 foldable. Boom mic with automute is great. I use receiver which is not convenient but assures huge coverage in comparison to the build-in Bluetooth. They boots around 5 seconds. Power button is the same as pairing one so you cannot hold it too long when in hurry. Unfortunately it’s not possible to pair a headset with two receivers (hybrid work here). I use them since February. Two or three times I had to restart my headphones during the call due to the low voice quality. Everything else is great
I was looking at the **Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex** because it works as an on ear headphone and it also just doesnt look like im wearing a drive thru headset while walking around nyc... but not sure if the mic quality. its important that when im walking and talking people are not distracted by background noise or my mic cutting out. Which one do you swear by? Thank you
wish the Yealink BH71 came in a stereo. i picked up the jabra evolve2 65 flex and did a test walking around this morning around brooklyn and friends on the other end of the zoom said that while im talking i cut in and out when there's wind. the jabra evolve65 however, did not cut out my voice but people said they heard rustling sound, which was the wind. seems liek the 65 flex is more aggressive with the background noise cancellation and actually cuts my entire voice out when there's wind but the regular evolve 65 doesnt cut my voice out. its likely because the 65 evolve's mic boom sits really close to my mouth whereas the 65 flex is further away. i wanted a headset that i can wear and walk around and not look like im working a drive thru but ultimately im gonna have to sacrifice aesthetics for call quality. im going to be returning the flex and looking at the jabra evolve 75 which is similar to my 65 but has better mic and i really appreciate the auto mute function when moving the boom up.
Tested the 65 flex extensively. Wind really kills it. Makes sense cuz the book is so far from my mouth
I personally use Jabra Evolve2 55 (under $200 on Amazon) and Jabra Evolve2 65 flex (my favorite). I use them primarily for the mic noise cancellation.
I have the Javbra Evolve 2 65 Flex. It’s phenomenal! I work at home and have kids and used to have a dog. Everyone on calls says they can’t hear anything in the background.
I love my Jabra Evolve2 65 flex. I’m using it for gaming and work meetings/phone calls
Jabra Evolve 2 65 flex, love this beast. Fold down mic is the biggest perk
I use a lot of different headsets. At my desk at home I have a Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex that I absolutely love. At work I have a Jabra Engage 65 (dual ear). It's really light and comfortable. At home I usually use a pair of Shokz OpenRun (I've got two pairs). These sometimes come when I travel too, but my biggest complaint is that they are harder to pack. I originally bought these to wear when I ride my bicycle and use them for almost everything at home and a little with the work phone now. Even without a boom mic they work really well in a noisy server room and even better if you have in-ear hearing protection on. In my "work somewhere other than the office or home" bag I have a pair of Beats Buds that I won somewhere. They seem to be reliable enough and I don't plan to replace them with anything else. I have a Yealink CP700 puck that I use for small meetings and when I'm not in the mood for headphones. It replaced an ancient Plantronics puck and is 1000x easier to use. And I've always got at least one pair (often 2-3 pairs) of wired earbuds with me. I like the Samsung style best. I keep them around because they just work and I can switch to them quickly when something has gone wrong. I tried the around the neck with a short wire earbuds and really didn't like that style.
Jabra Evolve2 65 w/ both ears and the boom mic. I prefer the type of headsets which are "on ear" and without noise cancellation for home office use. There's nobody else around to listen in and I want to maintain awareness of what's going on in the home.
Jabra Evolve2 65. Flip up boom mic to mute. If it ever dies, I'll get a Jabra Evolve2 75 or 85. But I've had it since 2019 now, and only had to replace the cushions eventually.
