Sorry which one did you say you tested? I have the jabra 65 flex for this reason. Good for travel too. Amazing noise cancelling. I cook all the time with it and make phone calls, or walk next to busy streets. Nobody can tell

Anything by Jabra. I currently have jabra evolve 2 - 65 flex. My previous pair lasted me from 2020-2025 when the battery finally went out. I am always on calls during work then use them for gaming at night so they get a lot of use. The battery life is impressive

I second the Evolve2 65 Flex suggestion. I work in an open floor type of office, and it is one of the best at blocking my customer support fellow. Plus the boom arm folds neatly into the ear cup, so I don’t look like I’m taking orders at Starbucks when I just want to listen to some music. Another good option is the Epos Impact 1000

Jabra evolve2 flex 65 foldable. Boom mic with automute is great. I use receiver which is not convenient but assures huge coverage in comparison to the build-in Bluetooth. They boots around 5 seconds. Power button is the same as pairing one so you cannot hold it too long when in hurry. Unfortunately it’s not possible to pair a headset with two receivers (hybrid work here). I use them since February. Two or three times I had to restart my headphones during the call due to the low voice quality. Everything else is great

I was looking at the **Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex** because it works as an on ear headphone and it also just doesnt look like im wearing a drive thru headset while walking around nyc... but not sure if the mic quality. its important that when im walking and talking people are not distracted by background noise or my mic cutting out. Which one do you swear by? Thank you

wish the Yealink BH71 came in a stereo. i picked up the jabra evolve2 65 flex and did a test walking around this morning around brooklyn and friends on the other end of the zoom said that while im talking i cut in and out when there's wind. the jabra evolve65 however, did not cut out my voice but people said they heard rustling sound, which was the wind. seems liek the 65 flex is more aggressive with the background noise cancellation and actually cuts my entire voice out when there's wind but the regular evolve 65 doesnt cut my voice out. its likely because the 65 evolve's mic boom sits really close to my mouth whereas the 65 flex is further away. i wanted a headset that i can wear and walk around and not look like im working a drive thru but ultimately im gonna have to sacrifice aesthetics for call quality. im going to be returning the flex and looking at the jabra evolve 75 which is similar to my 65 but has better mic and i really appreciate the auto mute function when moving the boom up.

Tested the 65 flex extensively. Wind really kills it. Makes sense cuz the book is so far from my mouth

I love Jabra and I have been using many of their products latest  Speak 2 75  and Jabra evolve2 65 flex. Although i like them I have complaints people cant hear me while using headphones or the speaker is causing echo during teams calls. Unfortunately not sure what’s going on but Jabra has not been consistent lately and I casually have to unplug and replug for them to work properly.  65 Flex has been hit and miss and i have been using them more than a year now. Some people did say after one year they start having problems and looks like I am facing those problems now

I actually have the Evolve2 85 and it works perfectly fine for me. I think the frustration usually comes down to how people expect ANC to behave during a call. Yes, the active noise cancelling drops off when you’re on a live call (switching more toward sidetone/transparency), but the passive isolation from those huge ear cups is still top-tier. I’ve never felt like I was 'talking underwater' or struggling to hear, and the mic quality for my colleagues has been crystal clear. It sounds like a lot of the hate comes from people who want total silence while they are talking, which isn't really how most high-end headsets are tuned to work anyway. For a busy office, I still find them way more reliable than the older 80s.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have a Bose NC 700 already that I use for travel mostly. And yes the mic does a good job, but not as good as the boom mic on the 85 and also there is no busy light like the 85. I use mostly the jabra2 65 flex because of it's low profile in a bag and the great mic performance. The new evolve3 85 looks like a great solution for hybrid work with a low profile in the flat case, ANC, active busy call light and nice mic performance. The test look good
